STAND YOUR GROUND HYPOCRITES INCITE RACIAL AND ANTI-GUN ANIMUS By Frances Rice The rank hypocrisy of Democrats about race and guns is on full display in Florida, demonstrated by how Democrats are exploiting the death of Trayvon Martin.  Two articles about this tragic case can be found on the Internet:  "How Black Leaders Exploit Their People for Political and Financial Gain" by Gary DeMar and "Five Myths of the 'Racist' Criminal Justice System" by Larry Elder. Various groups of Democratic Party supporters are staging protests in Sanford, demanding the repeal of Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law in the wake of the killing of black teenager, Trayvon Martin, by a Hispanic man, George Zimmerman. None of those hypocritical Democrats called for a repeal of the Stand Your Ground law when a white man in Tampa, David James, was killed by a black man, Trevor Dooley, and Dooley invoked the Stand Your Ground law in his defense.  An article is posted on the Internet about this case entitled "George Zimmerman & Trevor Dooley: Stand Your Ground Hypocrisy?" by Lee Stranahan. Meanwhile in Jacksonville, the NAACP is advocating the use of the Stand Your Ground law in support of a black woman, Marissa Danielle Alexander, who claimed self-defense against an abusive husband.  The details about this case can be found in an article entitled "NAACP weighs in on what they say is a 'Stand Your Ground' case against Jacksonville woman" by Charles Broward. Such hypocrisy about the Stand Your Ground law shows clearly that Democrats are staging protests in the Trayvon Martin case for the sole purpose of inflaming racial tensions to garner black votes.  An excellent analysis of Democrat contortions to create racial tensions in the Trayvon Martin case can be found in the article "Media Dishonesty and Race Hustlers" by Walter E. YES, OBAMA ATE DOG MEAT By Frances Rice President Barack Obama wrote in his book "Dreams from My Father" how, as a young boy, he ate dog meat in Indonesia, fed to him by Lolo Soetoro, his stepfather who was a Muslim, as was Obama's father, a man from Kenya. Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share." The fact that Obama ate dog has become an issue because Obama and his liberal media sycophants are busily pushing a story about how Mitt Romney transported his dog almost 30 years ago, trying to paint Romney as a rich, heartless guy and turn voters against him.   So, what did Romney do? Well, a reporter with the Washington Examiner, Byron York, wrote about the incident as shown in the below account. "In 1983, Romney took his family on vacation and, faced with a packed station wagon, put his Irish setter Seamus in a travel kennel strapped to the roof of the car. Romney constructed a special windshield in an effort to make the dog more comfortable, but Seamus ended up relieving himself on the roof, which reportedly caused much consternation among the Romney boys. Ever since the story got out--it was reported by the Boston Globe in 2007, during Romney's first run for president--Romney opponents have used it in semi serious and sometimes fully serious ways to portray him as insensitive." That's it.  Obama and his liberal allies, including late night comedians, are having a field day with this trivial story about Romney, all in an effort to distract voters from Obama's dismal record – ObamaCare that's not affordable, unemployment at 8.2%, and an economy destroying $14 trillion debt. Outrage For Sandra Fluke But Not For Black Republicans

OUTRAGE FOR WHITE WOMAN FLUKE BUT NOT FOR BLACK REPUBLICANS By Frances Rice Condemnation of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh driven by the left-wing media was swift and feverish. Outrageous is how they described one of Mr. Limbaugh's signature humorous observations about left-wing absurdity, for which he has since apologized. Mr. Limbaugh's remarks were prompted by the appearance of 30-year old Georgetown University law student and liberal political activist Sandra Fluke as a witness before an unofficial hearing convened by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Ms. Fluke complained that the student health program of Roman Catholic Georgetown University did not provide contraception for her, forcing her to pay $1,000 per year for contraception. Considering that birth control pills cost as little as $9 per month ($108 per year) from pharmacies at Target stores, Mr. Limbaugh surmised that the only way Ms. Fluke could spend $1,000 per year was to buy condoms, which costs around 55 cents each, and purchase enough to use five condoms each day of the year (365 X 5 = 1,825). To illustrate the absurdity of Ms. Fluke's claims, Mr. Limbaugh humorously observed that the only women who are having sex five times a day, 365 days per year typically were called either prostitutes or sluts. Notably, poor people get birth control through Medicaid from the federal government. An additional $300 million is spent by the federal government to provide contraceptives to low-income and uninsured people who can't qualify for Medicaid. This spending to help poor women was supported even when Republicans controlled the White House and both houses of Congress. The above facts about the ready availability of inexpensive contraceptives show clearly that Ms. Fluke's testimony was based on falsehoods. Plus, her record as a reproductive rights activist demonstrates that, instead of being promiscuous, she is in reality waging a war against Roman Catholic Georgetown University in particular and religion in general. An even more amazing observation is the fact that Ms. Fluke's appeal for government help runs counter to the mantra that women want the government to stay out of private decisions about their bodies. Lost in the media-generated brouhaha ginned up by Democrats and their media allies to paint Republicans as engaging in a "war on women" are the two real issues. One concern is whether President Barack Obama can violate the First Amendment to our Constitution that guarantees freedom of religion and force religious organizations to pay for something that violates their moral conscience. The other issue is whether Mr. Obama can force private insurance companies to cover certain procedures or medications. If the answer to either or both of these questions is yes, then we no longer live in a country governed for the people by our elected representatives. Instead, our nation has been changed into a socialist dictatorship and we are living under the tyranny of Mr. Obama who is governing by executive fiat, not restrained by our Constitution, the law of our land. In their rush (pun intended) to discredit Mr. Limbaugh, liberal journalists either fail to mention or downplay the above two important Constitutional issues, but are quick to display rank hypocrisy with their righteous indignation over name-calling. There was the sound of silence from the left-wing press when a black Republican woman and congressional candidate, Charlotte Bergmann, was called a "token negro", "stupid" and a "curly-haired nigga" to her face by Democrat liberal talk show host and DJ Thaddeus Matthews while Ms. Bergmann was a guest on his show. If ever there was a show of wanton vulgarity and cruelty, this was it. An article with further evidence of how Democrats conduct a "war on black Republicans", using vile and reprehensible personal attacks because we do not toe the liberal agenda line, calling us "sellouts", "Uncle Toms" and "House Negroes" is posted on the NBRA website. One of those racist cartoons demeaning Dr. Condoleezza Rice was published in The Washington Post. Will the editorial board of the Washington Post ever apologize in the name of civility and for the good of our American political culture? Will the liberal press demand that Democrats in Congress denounce Mr. Thaddeus and repudiate the racist attack on a citizen who is seeking to become an elected representative of the people? Will President Obama make a supportive call to Ms. Bergmann? President Obama, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Senate Leader Harry Reid and others Democratic Party leaders need to say without equivocation that such gutter rhetoric uttered by Mr. Matthews and other Democrats against black Republicans has no place in their party or in our American political discourse. Further, when will the Democratic Party issue the long overdue apology to black Americans for that party's nearly 200 years of racism? Not one liberal journalist bothered to give press coverage to the historic occasion when Rev. Wayne Perryman sued the Democratic Party, requesting such an apology, but the Democratic Party hired an army of lawyers to defend their racist past; thereby, avoiding doing the right thing and issuing an apology. An article about the lawsuit can be found on the Internet. As author Michael Scheuer wrote, the Democratic Party is the party of the four S's: slavery, secession, segregation and now socialism. In his book, "Dreams From My Father", President Obama described what he and other Democrats do to poor blacks as "plantation politics". In spite of Mr. Limbaugh's apology, seven of his sponsors have withdrawn their advertisements, playing into the blacklisting game of the far left, the same strategy that liberals used to get Mr. Ronald Reagan removed by CBS as the host of the "General Electric Theater" in 1962 because he criticized President John F. Kennedy. In his article "Rally for Rush" Jeffrey Lord exposes how the seven companies who pulled their ads from Mr. Limbaugh's program are connected to far left-wing groups funded by George Soros, including MoveOn.org, America Coming Together and Democracy for America. Lord wrote: "They exploit race and gender to try and destroy First Amendment protections. People who support a philosophy long on record as supporting every racial gambit from slavery, segregation, lynching and the Ku Klux Klan right on through to the violation of voting rights by the Black Panthers, racial quotas and illegal immigration have no scruples." The supposed desire for civility expressed by the liberal media would be credible if journalists placed as much emphasis on holding Democrats accountable for their overt racism toward black Republicans. Also, our country would be saved from being turned into a failed socialist nation by President Obama if the liberal press devoted as much time trying to stop him from shredding our Constitution as they spend trying to silence a talk show host who has no power to deny Americans anything, Constitutional or otherwise. CELEBRATING SCHOOL CHOICE WEEK The following is an excerpt from an article by The Heritage Foundation. To view the complete article, click here. ________________________________ Morning Bell: Celebrating School Choice Week By Mike Brownfield What singular cause could bring together the likes of Democratic campaign strategist James Carville, Republican Governor Bobby Jindal (LA), actor Sacha Baron Cohen, and 2,000 families, all under one roof? The answer: school choice -- empowering parents with the ability to save their children from failing schools, thereby giving them a shot at a brighter future. Those big names came together to kick off National School Choice Week in New Orleans over the weekend, a celebration that is being echoed in some 400 events across the country in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, with half the nation's governors declaring "School Choice Week" in their states. Actor, comedian, and education advocate Bill Cosby offered his support for school choice, as well: "I strongly support National School Choice Week because all children in America should be able to access the best schools possible. We have a moral and societal obligation to give our children the opportunity to succeed in school, at work, and in life. We cannot meet that obligation unless parents are empowered to select the best schools of their children. I encourage everyone who wants to see a transformation of American education to get involved in National School Choice Week." The groundswell of support comes after a year of significant strides in the school choice movement. A total of 12 states and the District of Columbia either enacted or expanded school choice options in 2011. Heritage education expert Lindsey Burke explains that last year, "more families than ever before gained access to school choice options, freeing them from assignment-by-zip code policies that often relegate families to the public school closest to their home, regardless of whether it meet their child's needs." As a result, more families have access to school choice options -- including vouchers, tax credits, homeschooling, online learning, and even education savings accounts. That expansion of school choice came after what appeared to be ominous news for some of America's schoolchildren in 2009 and 2010. In Washington, D.C., home to some of the country's most dangerous and under-performing schools, families of low-income children received vouchers through the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program, giving them a chance to choose a brighter educational future. That light of hope, though, was about to be extinguished when Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) inserted a provision in a 2009 spending bill that would have ended the program. That changed, though, when the Tea Party revolution came to Congress, bringing with it a new movement toward school choice. In early 2011, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) successfully fought for the reauthorization of the D.C. scholarship program, ensuring that those families continued to have a choice in education. The opportunities those children enjoy provide an example for the rest of the country. Heritage president Ed Feulner explains why school choice -- and improving education in America -- is such a central issue for our country's future: "There are many good public schools across this country with dedicated teachers who deserve praise. Unfortunately, there also are many bad schools, especially in urban areas. When you consider the damage those institutions inflict, making it nearly impossible for students to learn and fulfill their potential, you realize it's nothing short of a national crime. That's why it's so heartening to see the school-choice movement gaining ground."

MLK FOUGHT FOR CIVIL RIGHTS AND AGAINST DEMOCRATS By Frances Rice As we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., let us pause to reflect on who he was and why his struggle to obtain civil rights for black Americans was necessary. First, Dr. King was a Republican until the day he died because he knew that the Republican Party, from its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party, championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. For details on the history of civil rights, see the NBRA Civil Rights Newsletter posted on the NBRA's website. Second, the nemesis of Dr. King's valiant and historic campaign to end discrimination and gain equality for blacks was the Democratic Party, the party of slavery, segregation and the Ku Klux Klan. Led by the former Senator and Klansman Robert Byrd, Democrats launched a despicable crusade to smear and undermine Dr. King. This relentless disparagement of Dr. King resulted in his being physically assaulted and ultimately to his tragic death. When Dr. King left Memphis, Tennessee in March of 1968 after riots broke out where a teenager was killed, Byrd called Dr. King a "trouble-maker" who starts trouble, but runs like a coward after trouble is ignited. A few weeks later, Dr. King returned to Memphis and was assassinated on April 4, 1968. Prior to his death, Democrats bombed Dr. King's home several times. The scurrilous efforts by the Democrats to harm Dr. King included spreading rumors that he was a Communist and accusing him of being a womanizer and a plagiarist. An egregious act against Dr. King occurred on October 10, 1963. Democrat President John F. Kennedy authorized his brother, Democrat Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, to wiretap Dr. King's telephone using the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Wiretaps were placed by the FBI on Dr. King's telephones in his home and office. The FBI also bugged Dr. King's hotel rooms when he traveled around the country. The trigger for this unsavory wiretapping was apparently Dr. Kings' criticism of President Kennedy for ignoring civil rights issues, according to the author David Garrow in his book, "Bearing the Cross". As was pointed out in the book by Wayne Perryman "Whites, Blacks and Racist Democrats", Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil Rights Act while he was a senator. After Kennedy became president, he was opposed to the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King. The justification given by the Kennedy Administration publicly for wiretapping Dr. King was that two of Dr. King's associates, including David Levinson, had ended their association with the Communist Party in order to work undercover and influence Dr. King. However, after years of continuous and extensive wiretapping, the FBI found no direct links of Dr. King to the Communist Party. Kennedy's disdain for blacks further manifested itself when the King family sought help with getting Dr. King out of a Birmingham jail. Kennedy's civil rights advisor, Harris Wofford who was a personal friend of Dr. King, made a telephone call on behalf of Kennedy without Kennedy's knowledge. That call resulted in Dr. King's release. Kennedy was angry about the call because he feared he would lose the Southern vote. History shows, though, that the call by Wofford eventually worked in Kennedy's favor and is the primary reason so many blacks today wrongly venerate Kennedy. The unrelenting efforts by Democrats to tarnish Dr. King's reputation continued for years after his death. To his credit, Republican President Ronald Reagan ignored the Democrats' smear campaign and made Dr. King's birthday a holiday. Today, while professing to revere Dr. King, Democrats are still attempting to sully his image by claiming that he was a socialist. In reality, Dr. King was a Christian, guided by his faith and Republican Party principles as he struggled to gain equality for blacks. He did not embrace the type of socialist agenda that is promoted by the Democratic Party today, which includes fostering dependency on government handouts that trap blacks in generational poverty. BLACKS PETITION UN TO CENSURE OBAMA AND DEMOCRATIC PARTY FOR RACISM By Frances Rice The NAACP, acting on behalf of President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party, launched an attack on Republicans with a false charge of racism because some states are trying to end voter fraud by requiring all voters to present identification when appearing at the polls to vote. The NAACP did their grandstanding in front of the United Nations on December 10th, the day the UN declared to be "International Human Rights Day". The NAACP also announced that in January 2012, they will present a petition to the UN, claiming that Republicans want to "take away the right to vote" from "the elderly and working families of all colors." Notably, the NAACP has voiced no objection over identification required to do business in a bank, board an airplane, get medicine from a pharmacy, use a credit card in retail stores, drive a car and a host of other things. Even more telling, the NAACP is not targeting labor unions, major donors of the Democratic Party, even though unions require their own members to produce a photo ID in order to vote in union elections. With aplomb the NAACP ignores who actually denied blacks the right to vote—the Democratic Party, the party that instituted those Jim Crow laws and poll taxes. No concern is shown by the NAACP about voter fraud by Democratic Party operatives, such as ACORN that was prosecuted in several states. There was nothing but silence from the NAACP when, on December 12th, two days after the NAACP's stunt at the UN, the head of the Indiana Democratic Party, Dan Parker, resigned as St. Joseph County Prosecutor Mike Dvorak launched an investigation into allegations of election fraud that stemmed from the 2008 Democratic presidential primary. According to reports, numerous signatures on petitions that placed then-candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the party's primary ballot were allegedly forged and then certified by the St. Joseph County Voter Registration Office in South Bend. In reaction to the efforts by the NAACP to smear Republicans as racist, the National Black Republican Association sent a petition to the United Nations, seeking a censure resolution against President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party for that party's gross violations of human rights in contravention of the Charter of the United Nations and the United Nations' International Convention on Civil and Political Rights. Blacks Sue Obama & Democrats For Racial Discrimination

BLACKS SUE OBAMA AND DEMOCRATS FOR RACIAL DISCRIMINATION By Frances Rice Courageous aptly describes Rev. Wayne Perryman who has just filed a historic and landmark lawsuit in federal district court demanding an apology from the Democratic Party for centuries of racist oppression. This is Rev. Perryman's second attempt to seek long overdue justice. His first lawsuit in 2005 went all the way to the United States Supreme Court. In that case, the Democrats hired an army of lawyers, admitted their racist past, but refused to apologize. The Democrats were let off the hook by the Court on the legal technicality of "standing," since Rev. Perryman had not suffered personally from the Democratic Party's horrendous racism. On September 11, 2011, blacks from the West Coast and the East Coast joined together and signed one of the most comprehensive legal briefs ever prepared on racial discrimination, then filed their brief today, September 12th, at 9:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time in US District Court in Seattle (Case No. C11 - 1503). The plaintiffs, who refer to the defendants as "Father of Racism," allege that as an organization, the Democratic Party has consistently refused to apologize for the role they played in slavery and Jim Crow laws and for other subsequent racist practices from 1792 to 2011. Rev. Wayne Perryman, a former Democrat himself and the lead plaintiff in this class action lawsuit, said he was inspired to file this action after seeing the recent movie The Help. The movie takes place in the region that was exclusively controlled by Democrats for more than 150 years (the South). Mrs. Frances P. Rice, the Chair of the National Black Republican Association is also a plaintiff in the lawsuit. Mrs. Rice is a resident of Sarasota, Florida and has lived in the South most of her life. The case cites the collective work of over 350 legal scholars and includes Congressional records, case law, research from our nation's top history professors, racist statements from Democratic elected officials, citations from the Democrat's National Platforms regarding their support of slavery, excepts of speeches from Senator Obama, individual testimonies from blacks who lived in the Jim Crow South and opinions from the NAACP. Perryman said President Obama was named as a defendant not only because he is the official leader of the Democratic Party, but because of certain statements he made about his own party in his book, Dreams from My Father. In 2009, the President was asked to issue an apology to blacks on behalf of his party, but he refused. Unlike other reparations lawsuits, this lawsuit merely asks for a public apology, but no monetary damages. In the 40-page brief, Rev. Perryman tells the court that the Democratic Party, (the party that is quick to call the Tea Party and Republicans racist), is the same party that refuses to confess and/or acknowledge (in public and on their website) that they are the party that supported the institution that packed millions of black men, women and children in the deep dark hulls of slave ships with just barely enough food and water to keep them alive, and forced them to lie in their own urine, feces, and vomit for the duration of a long trip across the Atlantic. And after arriving in America, it was the members of their party that forced these poor souls to work from sunup to sundown for the next 70 years and never paid them one dime. And when the black victims were fortunate enough to escape, it was the Democratic Party that passed Fugitive Slave laws to return them to their brutal slave masters. When their inhumane institution of slavery was challenged by the opposing party, Democrats countered by placing threats in their political platforms (1844-1856), - threatening anyone who dared to interfere with what they called, "the sectional issue of Domestic Slavery." In May 21, 1856, they carried out their threats when they attacked their opposition, Senator Charles Sumner with a walking cane on the Senate floor and when they attacked with guns, freed blacks and abolitionists on the streets of Lawrence, Kansas. Six years later, Democrats called themselves 'Confederates" and went to war killing thousands to defend and protect their racist institution of slavery. After losing the war, they fought against constitutional amendments and civil rights legislation for blacks, and chose instead to form terrorist organizations, legislate Black Codes and Jim Crow Laws and support every landmark case that was designed to deny blacks their constitutional rights including the Slaughterhouse Case, Plessy v Ferguson, the Civil Rights Cases of 1881 to overturn the 1875 Civil Rights Act, and Brown v. the Board of Education. While many of these cases were pending, Democrats proudly adopted the name "The Party of White Supremacy" and committed every inhumane violent act known to mankind (from 1867 to 1977) to keep blacks in "their place." And to add insult to injury, after killing millions of blacks through their racist institutions, they hired powerful attorneys to keep this information from blacks and to avoid apologizing to blacks. Perryman said, "Any organization that has such a racist history and receives 97% of the African American vote (after doing all they could to deny blacks the right to vote), should willingly apologize without being forced do so through a lawsuit. He said, "I guess they feel they have nothing to apologize for." Perryman went on to say that he is "convinced that Democrats will only apologize if the media, or the courts (with public pressure) will force them to do so. The man who authored the book: The Audacity of Hope, now has the "audacity" to refuse to apologize for his political party and their racist institutions, that took the lives of millions of his own people. Apologies for Racism – Precedent Set In the 40-page brief covering a period from 1792 to 2011, Perryman makes the following claims regarding past apologies for racism and racial injustices. Perryman said history reveals that an apology or reparation for blacks would not be an issue today had the Democratic President Andrew Johnson chosen to sign Senate Bill 60. Since Johnson's veto of Senate Bill 60, the door for reparations involving racial injustices remained closed for over 120 years. In 1988, Congress opened that door with the passage of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988. Under that new bill, Japanese internment victims received an apology plus $20,000 each in reparation pay. In 1993, the victims of the Rosewood, Florida Massacre received an apology and reparations from the State of Florida. On May 16, 1997, President Clinton issued an apology to the victims of the Tuskegee Experiment and paid the African American victims a total of $10,000,000 in reparations. On February 7, 2005, the 109th Congress issued Senate Resolution 39 and apologized for not enacting lynching laws to protect those who were victims of lynching. In that resolution, Congress stopped short of acknowledging that all of the lynchings took place in regions controlled by Democrats. And finally on January 20, 2007, the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of North Carolina apologized for the 1898 riot and massacre that killed several black Republicans and drove them out of office. Who is Rev. Perryman? Rev. Perryman is the same Seattle minister who used his biblical research in 1994 to persuade the world's two largest Christian publishers and the Encyclopedia Britannica to apologize and remove the "Curse of Ham" theory from all of their publications. The curse theory had existed for over 500 years and was used by Southern Christians and Democrats to justify slavery and their mistreatment of blacks.
