Carlson Explains What Message Dems Are Sending with the Militarization of DC

In his opening monologue on Monday, Fox News’s Tucker
Carlson said the Democratic Party is using the militarization of the nation’s
capital as a clear political weapon.
There will reportedly be more than 26,000 federal
troops—something Carlson said “no living American has seen” before.
He used the historical examples of when 13,600 federal
troops and the D.C. Army National Guardsmen were sent to Washington by Lyndon
Johnson after MLK Jr.’s assassination, and during the Civil War era when there
“were fewer federal troops protecting Washington, D.C., than there are right
now.”
The move comes after a Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol
Building, which is being viewed by political leaders as “much worse than any of
that.”
But why, Carlson wondered.
He pointed to the elevated murder rate in D.C. over the
last six months even as the district has “the highest per-capita law
enforcement presence in the country and one of the highest in the world.”
Thus, it’s not about safety, he argued.
“Instead, unmistakably, the Democratic Party is using
those troops to send the rest of us a message about power: ‘We're in charge
now. We run this nation, from Honolulu to our colony in the Caribbean and
everywhere in between, very much including where you and your family live.
Do not question us men with guns. We control the Pentagon.’ And indeed, they
do,” he said.
Republicans
have spent years ignoring the leftward drift of our officer corps, but we can't
ignore it now. The mask is off our military leadership. The very same generals
who howled at the idea of deploying American troops to stop an invasion of our
southern border sent tens of thousands of soldiers with rifles to Washington
purely as a show of force on behalf of the political party they support. Once
they did that, they allowed Democratic politicians to degrade and politicize
the military itself.
Democrats
in Congress demanded that the troops sent to Washington this week submit to a
political purity test -- "ideological vetting, as they put it
-- to make certain that every soldier professed loyalty to the new regime.
Not loyalty to our country, not loyalty to our Constitution, but loyalty to the
aims of a specific political party. Nothing like that has ever happened in
America and just a few months ago, it would have been unimaginable.
Suddenly it's compulsory.

Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., has even gone so far as to say that every White man in
this country is a potential murderer, that every White man in America should be
under suspicion -- purely on the basis of being White and male -- of
planning a presidential assassination. (Fox

He argued if an “irreparable civil conflict” is what they
want to stoke, this is how to do it. And Republicans aren’t even pushing back.
He said his program received no calls from GOP lawmakers asking to talk about
the militarization of D.C.
“The Democratic
Party is using the military of the United States as a political weapon. But
Republicans in Congress just can't be bothered to notice that,” he said, adding
that Pentagon officials haven’t “resigned in protest” over it, either.
Instead, there are examples of former military colonels calling for “a
domestic war on sedition by American terrorists.”
America will not return to normal once Biden is sworn
in—“something awful has been unleashed on our country.” If nothing is done
about it, something worse will come, he said.

DID THE DEMOCRATS STEAL THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?
Democrats are making extraordinary efforts to suppress
all discussion of whether Joe Biden actually won the 2020 presidential
election. In fact, they go even farther: they want to suppress all discussion
of the extent to which voter fraud occurred. That naturally makes me want to
write about voter fraud, and who really won the election.
First, this question: why are the Democrats so hysterical
in their insistence that fraud not be mentioned? One reason is obvious. Joe
Biden will take office under a cloud, since close to half of all Americans
doubt that he really won the election. The Democrats want to stamp out such
doubts to preserve Biden’s authority as president.
But there is a second reason that may be more important.
The Democrats want the lax voting procedures that prevailed in 2020 to continue
in the future. They know that efforts will be made in many states to improve
ballot integrity, and they want those efforts to fail. By rendering all
discussion of voter fraud out of bounds, they hope to forestall reforms that
would make it harder for them to cheat, or enable cheating, in the future.
So, did the Democrats steal the presidential election, or
not? I don’t know the answer to that question. No one does. A number of
statistical analyses have been done, which on their face suggest large
irregularities. I wrote about one such analysis, by John Lott, here.
Beyond that, major questions remain unanswered. In several
key swing states, there were midnight dumps of 100,000 or more votes, virtually
all of which were for Joe Biden, something that can’t normally happen. Those
dumps may have made the difference in the election. I have seen no attempt by
any Democrat to explain or justify them. Maybe I’ve missed it, and maybe they
somehow reflected actual ballots cast, but the burden of proof is on those who
seek to justify such anomalies.
Even greater doubts about the election arise from the
deliberately loose procedures that governed voting. Something like 69 million
mail-in votes were cast, and until two months ago, everyone agreed that mail-in
voting is highly susceptible to fraud. But the laxity in 2020 went far beyond
the risks inherent in mail-in votes. I put it this way: I don’t know
whether the Democrats stole the 2020 election, but I do know that they tried
hard to steal it.
In a number of states, including my home state of
Minnesota, the Democrats pursued a coordinated strategy of collusive litigation
to eliminate electoral safeguards. In Minnesota–and the same thing occurred in
a number of other states–the Democratic Party recruited plaintiffs to sue the
Democratic Secretary of State, asking that the statutory requirement of witness
signatures on mail-in ballots be eliminated. The requirement of a witness
signature is, as a practical matter, the only speed bump on the way to fraud in
mail-in voting, so the Democrats wanted to get rid of it.
Of course Secretaries of State have no power to change
election laws, hence the need for collusive litigation, which is one of the
most sinister forms of corruption in today’s world. In Minnesota and other
states, the Democratic Secretaries of State immediately “settled” the lawsuits
brought “against” them by their fellow Democrats. The “settlements” simply
agreed to what the Democrats wanted–no safeguards to prevent fraud in mail-in
voting.
The Democrats knew how corrupt, and therefore likely to
fail, this tactic was, so in my state they made sure they had two bites at the
apple. They recruited two sets of plaintiffs, one in federal court and another
in state court, thereby dodging res judicata if they lost the
first case. The key to collusive litigation is that the “settlement” conspired
at by the supposedly adverse parties is ratified by a court. In Minnesota, the
federal court refused to approve the Democrats’ fraudulent “settlement,”
finding no showing to justify it. But a loyal state court judge went along with
the Democrats’ charade. As a result, mail-in ballots in Minnesota, as in a
number of other states following similarly corrupt litigation, bore no witness
signatures, in plain violation of state law. The door to fraud was wide open,
as the Democrats intended.
One of the problems in assessing the 2020 election is
that the same lax procedures that enable fraud in the first place also make it
more or less impossible to prove after the fact. Sixty-nine million mail-in
votes were cast; how many were fakes, and which ones? There is really no way to
tell. Once those votes have been counted (sometimes in the absence of
Republican poll-watchers, illegally excluded by Democrats from the rooms where
counting was going on), there is no way to identify which ones were illegal and
pull them out of the vote totals.
So at this point, neither I nor anyone else knows whether
the Democrats stole the 2020 election, and we may never know. But, given the
lengths to which the Democrats went in order to facilitate voter fraud, there
is no reason to cut them slack in judging whether their efforts influenced the
result.
No doubt, a number of people are currently investigating
the election, either nationally or in particular states. (Not “journalists,”
who don’t investigate anything; certainly not anything that could harm the
Democratic Party.) Over the next two years, such researchers will publish books
on the election. Some will argue that voter fraud swung the election to Joe
Biden, while others will argue that he legitimately won, even if his vote
totals were swelled by fraud. Books in the former category will have a hard
time finding publishers, but someone will publish them, and lots of Americans
will read them and discuss their findings. The Democrats’ efforts to suppress
discussion of election integrity will fail.
What is most important is what happens next. Rightly or
wrongly, Joe Biden will be our next president. We can’t change that. But, by
pressing the issue of election integrity in the states, we potentially can
ensure that in 2022 and succeeding elections, Americans have confidence that
the candidate who got the most legal votes is the winner. To accomplish that,
we will have to overcome entrenched opposition not only from the above-ground
Democratic Party, but from its press auxiliary, which tries to ban any
suggestion that voter fraud is a problem. We all know better, and we can’t give
in to the Democrats’ crude efforts at intimidation. Election integrity must be
a priority for the next two years, and in the future.

The Coming Biden Totalitarian Communist Dictatorship

Based on the events over the last year
(especially the last few months) I am concerned that America as we know it
might not survive Democrat control of the Presidency, the House, and the
Senate. For this reason, I would like to ask you another question about the
mood you observe in the Swamp:
Does the Swamp understand and intend the path
it is on, or is it simply acting on its hate for Trump, his associates, and his
supporters, without any concern for the ultimate consequences?
Based on their pattern of recent actions, Democrats and their supporters seem intent on imposing more totalitarian control over our country, similar to that of the Communist Party over China. Perhaps, this is accidental, due to the Swamp’s allowing its hate to drive its actions. However, it could be intentional, based on Biden’s campaign slogan of “Build Back Better,” aka the “Great Reset.

For example:
o Democrat-run states and cities, using the
excuse of COVID-19, have asserted their right to determine which citizens can
work, study, worship, travel, leave home, etc., and which cannot. Most
Democrat-run areas of the country have been locked down under the arbitrary
rules since March, 2020. In some ways, this is worse than
China where, although some groups (e.g. Uyghurs, Tibetans, Christians,
Falun Gong) and some individuals (e.g. Jimmy Lai, Jack Ma, Ai
Weiwei) have been subjected to severe lockdowns, most of the populace has not.
o Democrat-affiliated mainstream and social media have been
censoring actual news (e.g. the Biden family’s corruption),
and have been generating fake news (e.g. Trump’s collusion
with Russia). In other words, they have become purveyors of propaganda.
For example, regarding COVID-19, the media, politicians, and medical
professionals have politicized healthcare by hiding empirical data, ostracizing
those who disagree (e.g. Scott Atlas), and propagandizing false
narratives. Totalitarian control of information has been key element of
Communist rule in China since its beginning.
o Democrats and their Big Tech allies are now building a de
facto social credit system along the lines of China's, whereby those
citizens whose actions, affiliations, social media posts, cell phone movements,
etc. indicate support for Trump or opposition to Democrat policies (e.g. lockdowns)
are doxxed, de-platformed, cancelled, denied employment, forced to resign,
blacklisted as terrorists, boycotted, hacked, physically attacked, arrested, or
are otherwise “punished" for their refusals to submit. Of course,
Chinese Communists pioneered the use of social credit systems with the willing
help of several Democrat-controlled, Big Tech companies (e.g. Google).

o Democrat lawyers and judges have used phony, Communist-style
show trials to eliminate political enemies, e.g. Michael Flynn
(DOJ admitted investigation was improper), Carter Page (Democrat government
lawyer Kevin Clinesmith falsified key documents). Nancy Pelosi’s two
impeachments of Trump in 13 months (one-half of all impeachments in US history)
are merely another form of show trial.
The first impeachment was because Trump inquired about Biden family corruption (currently under FBI investigation) during a telephone call, which failed to meet the constitutional standard of “high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
The second was because Trump gave a speech just seven days earlier on the same day the Capitol was entered by a violent mob — an event which are still being investigated. Americans still do not know what actually happened at the Capitol, when it happened. If while Trump was still speaking, his speech could not have been responsible.
Whether it was pre-planned (if it was, his speech could not have been responsible), who actually committed the illegal acts (BLM and Antifa were at the Capitol, and several Capitol police officers have been suspended for their roles), etc.
This rush to impeach with few established facts is a Communist-style show trial more appropriate to Alice in Wonderland (“sentence first, verdict afterwards”) than to the America I once knew.
o Democrats and their fellow travelers have persistently persecuted other Americans on the basis of their identities (e.g. white, male, Evangelical, Jew, rural, conservative, Trump supporter), and have sought redistribution of wealth and opportunities on this basis.
This is comparable to the Communist Party's persecutions (see Red Guards during the Cultural Revolution) of Chinese on the basis of their identities (e.g. landlords, capitalists, intellectuals, bourgeoisie) and corresponding redistributions. In other words, Democrats' "socialism with American characteristics” is analogous to the "socialism with Chinese characteristics” celebrated in the Communist Party of China's Constitution.

o Democrats have encouraged hundreds or even thousands of thugs
(e.g. BLM, Antifa) to physically attack ordinary Americans. For
example, last June, Kamala Harris enthusiastically boasted
that “protests” (her euphemism for riots) “are not going to
stop,” warns "everyone beware,” and asserts
protests/riots" should not stop” even after election day in November.

Moreover, she raised bail money for violent criminals, including rioters, who had been arrested.
Shockingly, at least 13 members of the Biden campaign staff also contributed to bailing out rioters.
Presumably, these released criminals will go out and riot, burn, loot, rape,
and kill some more, thereby creating even more chaos to further Democrats’
political ends. Using thugs to intimidate and subdue ordinary people is a typical
Communist tactic. For example, China employed mobsters (e.g. Triads)
to beat up ordinary people in Hong Kong in 2019 to crush the pro-democracy
movement there.
o Democrats in key battleground states appear to have rigged the November 3, 2020 and January 5, 2021 elections. Despite substantial evidence of election fraud and other irregularities, this evidence has not yet been fully presented and tested in an appropriate forum. Nevertheless, the evidence so far shows more than a prima facie case of wrongdoing. Thus, as recently as January 2-3, 2021, when 1200 registered voters were polled by Rasmussen, 64% of Republicans believed Trump was the legitimate winner of the 2020 election.
If the evidence ultimately reveals that Democrats stole elections key
battleground states, then they will be seen as no better than Chinese
Communists. Although China holds many “elections," ordinary Americans understand that the Communist Party has a
permanent, totalitarian grip on most aspects of Chinese daily life, and
that elections cannot change this basic fact of Chinese life.

Over the last century, ordinary Americans and
their government have strenuously opposed Communist regimes in the Soviet
Union, China, North Korea, North Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.
Popular culture and everyday conversations referred to Orwell’s Animal Farm and 1984,
Apple’s famous 1984 TV ad featuring Big Brother, and other works describing the
horrors of Communism.
Because Democrats’ tactics today (particularly during the Trump administration) have become so similar to those employed by Communist China (and other totalitarian regimes), and because these tactics have already triggered a visceral negative reaction among many ordinary Americans. The half of the country that voted for Trump and will continue to support him.
If Kamala Harris and other Democrats continue to encourage their “woke” followers to commit violence against Trump supporters, or to destroy their livelihoods (through forced resignations, black listings, boycotts, lockdowns, etc.), I would not be surprised if ordinary Americans soon assert their rights to self-defense, to bear arms, and to “alter or abolish” any government that does not derive “just powers from the consent of the governed” (as stated in our Declaration of Independence).
As a result, violence could easily break out across our country (see 1968), which could last for years.
It took years for the Chinese Cultural Revolution to play out. In the end, it was a strong personality, Deng Xiaoping, who eventually took charge and restored order. In China, the Cultural Revolution began in 1966, and it was not until 1978 after Mao’s death in 1976 that Deng, who had been purged twice during the Cultural Revolution, was able to assert himself and become the new paramount leader at age 74. He thereupon unleashed private sector capitalism (a counter-revolutionary act against Mao’s legacy) and restored the Chinese economy to historic greatness (in 1820, before its “century of humiliation," China’s economy was the largest in the world).
If
America falls into similar disarray after Biden and Harris take office, the
politician who might most resemble Deng might be Trump. Like Deng,
Trump could easily be the one who emerges after being (unfairly) purged
from power to take charge, restore order, and repair the economy, after
years of Democrat chaos and mismanagement. In 2024, Trump will be 78, not
much older than Deng when he saved China.
Consequently, Democrats and the rest of the
Swamp should be sure of the path they are taking. It might not lead to the
destination they are seeking or expecting...

In the days leading up to the Biden
inaugural, the nation’s capital has been turned into an occupied military zone
like Baghdad. Armed troops authorized to use lethal force are manning checkpoints
to enter and leave downtown Washington, D.C. Green Zone and and Red Zone
perimeters have been established. Several bridges into the city from
neighboring Virginia are scheduled to be closed next week for the inaugural.
Sean Spicer, President Trump’s first press
secretary and current Newsmax TV host, posted video apparently taken Friday night
that shows a military checkpoint to leave D.C. near the Lincoln Memorial. The
video also shows cars on 16th Street near K Street parked in rows blockading
the roadway. But first, a scene-setter report by Spicer’s Newsmax co-host

just called me from his car in DC, he was dropping his wife off at her office
in NW. They had to go through an Armed Checkpoint to enter the city! Leaving
the city, he had to stop at another Armed Checkpoint.

Four of the main bridges in and out of D.C. from Virginia
will be closed for 48 hours around the inauguration. Two bridges from Virginia
to D.C. are not set to be closed: Key Bridge from Rosslyn to Georgetown and
Chain Bridge from McLean to Canal Rd. near the Palisades neighborhood.
The Secret Service posted a detailed list on
Thursday of the streets blockaded by military checkpoints and divided into a
Green Zone and Red Zone.
“Green Zone – Vehicle
Restricted Zone Vehicle traffic restricted to residents or businesses within
the restricted area and National Guard Personnel will be assisting with
verifying traffic entering into the Green Zone.”
“Red Zone – Street
Closures Vehicle traffic restricted to authorized vehicles only with proper
vehicle placard.”
Extra checks are in place for those flying to D.C.,
“Extra security for flights coming into DC: I boarded a flight from LGA to DC a
moment ago. At the gate, a TSA agent checked (again) all passenger IDs against
boarding passes. Homeland Security officer w/ a dog was standing beside the
door and said, Yes, this is for inauguration.”
Also, airlines are banning guns in checked luggage on
flights to D.C. area airports.
These restrictions and security checkpoints are supposed
to be temporary–just for the inauguration.
