BLACK REPUBLICAN BLOG -
The Republican Party is the party of civil rights and the four F’s: faith, family, freedom and fairness.
The Democratic Party is the party of the four S’s: slavery, secession, segregation and socialism (Quote By Author Michael Scheuer).
“History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes,” Mark Twain observed. Joe Biden's rebranding of Easter Sunday as the Transgender Day of Visibility can be understood as part of a long line of efforts to replace a religious observance with state-sponsored ersatz.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.
These ersatz systems could take the form of state-sponsored atheism, state-mandated religion or even a completely invented replacement cult, like the French Revolution's Cult of Reason. What explains this secular obsession with religion? Henry Kissinger pointed out that the two most powerful forces in history are the Conqueror and the Prophet. "The Middle East has been the chrysalis of three of the world’s great religions. From its stern landscape have issued conquerors and prophets holding aloft banners of universal aspirations. Across its seemingly limitless horizons, empires have been established and fallen; absolute rulers have proclaimed themselves the embodiment of all power, only to disappear as if they had been mirages."
From the historical perspective, there nothing more interesting to "secular" government than religion. China, for example, is officially atheist but you may join any one of 5 registered faiths. It is sort of like buying a gun. Clearly religion is dangerous. While secular ideologues often say that "religion is based on fear" and empty superstition, they are obviously afraid of religion and it is the first thing they suppress. I call this the "ghost problem." "God? I don't believe in no God," we say with our eyes flitting from side to side. Then how comes you is skeered? The ghost haunts us notwithstanding.
Conquerors and Prophets are among the two most powerful forces in history. The principle difference between the two is the time scale of their message. Conquerors live the lifespan of empires while Prophets exist on the scale of civilizations. Two thousand years later the Conqueror still fears the empty tomb.
When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary, the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go and anoint him. Very early when the sun had risen, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb. They were saying to one another, “Who will roll back the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?” When they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back; it was very large.
On entering the tomb they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a white robe, and they were utterly amazed. He said to them, “Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Behold the place where they laid him. But go and tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you.’”
The story continues at this morning's Masses in John 20:1-9:
On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him.”
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb. They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and arrived at the tomb first; he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in. When Simon Peter arrived after him, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there, and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place. Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture that he had to rise from the dead.
This evening, we will hear the story of Emmaus in Luke 24:13-35:
That very day, the first day of the week, two of Jesus’ disciples were going to a village seven miles from Jerusalem called Emmaus, and they were conversing about all the things that had occurred. And it happened that while they were conversing and debating, Jesus himself drew near and walked with them, but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him. He asked them, “What are you discussing as you walk along?” They stopped, looking downcast. One of them, named Cleopas, said to him in reply, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know of the things that have taken place there in these days?” And he replied to them, “What sort of things?” They said to him, “The things that happened to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, how our chief priests and rulers both handed him over to a sentence of death and crucified him. But we were hoping that he would be the one to redeem Israel; and besides all this, it is now the third day since this took place. Some women from our group, however, have astounded us: they were at the tomb early in the morning and did not find his body; they came back and reported that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who announced that he was alive. Then some of those with us went to the tomb and found things just as the women had described, but him they did not see.” And he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are! How slow of heart to believe all that the prophets spoke! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them what referred to him in all the Scriptures. As they approached the village to which they were going, he gave the impression that he was going on farther. But they urged him, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them. And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight.
Then they said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he spoke to us on the way and opened the Scriptures to us?” So they set out at once and returned to Jerusalem where they found gathered together the eleven and those with them who were saying, “The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!” Then the two recounted what had taken place on the way and how he was made known to them in the breaking of bread.
There is no question that Trump won the media narrative yesterday when he visited the wake for fallen police officer Jonathan Diller. With one visit he highlighted the failures of the Democrats and their Defund the Police policies, along with rising crime in New York. Meanwhile, in the other America, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama appeared alongside Joe Biden for a $26 million fundraiser.
As a result of an appeal filed by the Republican National Committee, the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 late Wednesday that mail-in ballots without dates or with unqualified dates cannot be counted in Pennsylvania elections.
"In the November 2020 and November 2022 elections, thousands of Pennsylvania mail-in voters did not comply with the date requirement. Some voters omitted the date altogether, others put shortened or obviously incorrect dates. As county boards took different approaches to enforcing the date requirement, litigation began, and the Materiality Provision took center stage. A panel of this Court ruled this federal law does apply outside the voter registration context and was violated by the date requirement now (again) before us. But that decision has since been vacated as moot by the Supreme Court. Ritter v. Migliori, 143 S. Ct. 297 (2022)," the ruling states.
"The validity of enforcing the date requirement thus remained uncertain as a matter of federal law. But the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania soon settled the issue for state law purposes. See Ball v. Chapman, 289 A.3d 1, 20-23 (Pa. 2023). It unanimously agreed the command in Pennsylvania’s Election Code that mail-in voters 'shall . . . date' the declaration was 'unambiguous and mandatory' as a matter of statutory interpretation; so omitting the date, or incorrectly dating the return envelope, 'render[s] a ballot invalid” under Pennsylvania law,' the ruling continues.
The RNC is declaring a victory for election integrity.
“This is a crucial victory for election integrity and voter confidence in the Keystone State and nationwide. Pennsylvanians deserve to feel confident in the security of their mail ballots, and this 3rd Circuit ruling roundly rejects unlawful left-wing attempts to count undated or incorrectly dated mail ballots. Republicans will continue to fight and win for election integrity in courts across the country ahead of the 2024 election," RNC Chairman Michael Whatley released in a statement.
A GOP-led effort in Pennsylvania has prevailed after an appeals court ruled that undated (and arguably unverified) mail-in ballots can not be counted. That comes after a years-long legal battle led by various left-wing activist groups, including the ACLU and the NAACP.
Pennsylvania mail-in ballots that are not dated on the outside envelope by the voter should not be counted even if they arrive at a county election office on time, a three-judge appeals court panel ruled on Wednesday.
The 2-1 decision from the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals strikes down a lower court ruling and sets up a potential Supreme Court battle over Pennsylvania’s mail-ballots that began in 2020, and will almost certainly affect how the swing state’s ballots are handled in the upcoming presidential election.
The case was brought based on a provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that doesn't allow the disqualification of someone's right to vote based on error or omission “on any record or paper relating to any application, registration, or other act requisite to voting."
The 2-1 decision was handed down by three Democrat appointees, with the majority finding that while the above provision stops the disqualification of someone's ability to vote, it does not apply to how votes are counted. In other words, the date issue is a state requirement qualifying the actual ballot as valid instead of being an issue of one's voter registration and ability to cast a ballot.
Still, the ACLU and the other plaintiffs are vowing to keep fighting.
Ari Savitzky, senior staff attorney with the ACLU’s Voting Rights Project who argued the case before the 3rd Circuit said Wednesday the organization was considering all of its options.
“The thousands of voters affected here are eligible and registered,” Savitzky said in a statement. “They completed their mail ballots, signed the return envelope, and got their ballots in on time. Their votes should count. We strongly disagree with the panel majority’s conclusion that voters may be disenfranchised for a minor paperwork error like forgetting to write an irrelevant date on the return envelope of their mail ballot. We are considering all of our options at this time. And we will not stop fighting for voters.”
This could eventually get to the Supreme Court, though there's reason to doubt that the conservative majority would side with the left-wing activist groups. Pennsylvania state law specifically denotes that a date is required as part of the verification process. It is not ambiguous, and to suggest that something as simple as a date requirement for ballot verification violates federal law is to suggest thatall requirements somehow do so. It's a nonsensical argument and completely arbitrary.
Meanwhile, Marc Elias, whose group has been behind many of these challenges to election security, faced defeat in South Carolina. A federal court ruled that the state can use its existing congressional maps for the 2024 election. That came after a challenge asserting that the maps violate federal law regarding representation.
In short, it hasn't been a good day for the Democrat legal agenda. When Elias is seething, that means something good happened.
That any of this is an argument remains baffling. Why would anyone object to ballots being validated based on the plain letter of the law? Should a person be able to vote after election day too? Should they be able to write their vote on the back of a napkin, take a picture of it, and text it in?
Hopefully, these victories are just two of many to come. Democrats are doing everything they can to water down even the most basic election security laws and rig congressional maps in their favor. Asking why would be prudent.
Did the ladies of "The View" do their homework before inviting Coleman Hughes onto the show? Because Mr. Hughes doesn’t spew left-wing talking points, he says he calls ‘a spade, a spade,’ and he’s very much opposed to the race-baiting that progressives find themselves hopelessly addicted to. Hughes, who obviously views Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as one of his heroes, argues in his book “The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America” that we should treat everyone without regard to race in public policy and life. It’s giving the “content of your character” axiom a reboot, something that the progressive Left is chipping away.
Hughes, like other non-woke liberals, noted that the recognition of progress must be comprehended for us to move forward as a society. ‘Woke kindergarten’ in San Francisco was used as an example of regression in this segment. He also said something that will irritate race-obsessed liberals to no end: policies aimed at addressing disadvantaged in class socioeconomics is the path forward. Non-whites are disproportionately part of the working poor, so policies aimed at enhancing the lives of those in these income brackets will help blacks, Hispanics, and poor whites. Citing Dr. King again, Hughes said this agenda is grounded in the late civil rights leader’s call for a Bill of Rights for the Disadvantaged.
Whether you agree with Hughes or not, this segment has more sense than anything this show had broadcasted in over a decade. It wasn’t woke-left insanity. And because it wasn’t, Sunny Hostin quietly seethed in her seat, accusing Hughes of being a pawn of the conservative movement. Hughes said he wasn’t a Republican—and he’s not. He voted for Biden in 2020. The guest quietly dismantled Hostin’s shoddy counterpoints while adding, with class, that her ad hominem attacks are part of the regression seen in race discussions (via Fox News):
"I don’t think I’ve been co-opted by anyone. I’ve only voted twice — both for Democrats. I’m an independent," Coleman said. "I would vote for a Republican — probably a non-Trump Republican if they were compelling. I don’t think there’s any evidence I’ve been co-opted by anyone and I think that’s an ad-hominem tactic people use to not address, really, the important conversations we’re having here."
Hughes writes for The Free Press and is an analyst on CNN. He told Hostin, "No one is paying me to say what I'm saying."
"The reason I wrote this book is because, in the past 10 years, it has become to, in the name of anti-racism, teach a kind of philosophy to our children, in general, that says your race is everything," he said at the beginning of the segment. "And I think that is the wrong way to fight racism and that's why I wrote this book at this time."
And, of course, some race-obsessed dolt like Hostin will find his book flawed: that’s the reaction that every left-winger has when they read things that make sense. There are certainly criticisms in Hughes’ book, but I’d rather hear this man and read his material than be yelled at by these freaks with blue hair.
Anything that seeks to unite our society and move forward as a whole is seen as a form of race betrayal by some. The Left has an incessant need to cookie-cutter social groups, enhance differences, and make them incongruous pieces because disunity keeps the woke movement alive. We’re seeing the consequences of this trend in public policy areas like public safety, which has become a total trainwreck. Everyone wants to be safe, but these clowns have targeted common sense laws, like going to jail for committing violent acts and using pseudointellectual nonsense to make law and order a race issue. It’s led to bail reform insanity and violent criminals exploiting the new system. Given the conditions in some cities, it almost makes me wish the League of Shadows existed.
Hughes could have easily assailed Hostin as having a myopic view on bringing change, but that would have been too easy an exercise. We all probably disagree with this man on 90-plus percent of the issues, but we can have a discussion with a liberal, independent like Hughes.
Also, yes, he works for CNN, and they tried to race-bait him when Claudine Gay resigned from Harvard over her plagiarism scandal. He was not playing that game:
Speaking from the White House Tuesday afternoon, President Joe Biden explained which government entity will foot the bill after a cargo ship slammed into the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore, leading to its collapse and the killing of several people.
"The bridge is also critical to, for travel, not just for Baltimore but for the Northeast Corridor. Over 30,000 vehicles cross the Francis Scott Key Bridge on a daily basis. It’s virtually, well, it’s one of the most important elements for the economy in the Northeast and the quality of life," Biden said. "My Transportation Secretary is there now. As I told Governor Moore, I’ve directed my team to move heaven and earth to reopen the port and rebuild the bridge as soon as humanly possible. And we’re going to work hand in hand with the support of Maryland, to support Maryland, whatever they ask for. And we’re going to work with our partners in Congress to make sure the state gets the support it needs."
"It’s my intention that federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing that bridge, and I expect the Congress to support my effort," he continued. "This is going to take some time. And the people of Baltimore can count on us, though, to stick with them at every step of the way until the port is reopened and the bridge is rebuilt."
When asked about whether the company that owns the ship should be liable for the cost, Biden said that could take too long to litigate.
"You said the federal government is also going to pay for the repairs. I’m just curious, this was a ship that appears to be at fault. Is there any reason to believe that the company behind the ship should be held responsible?" a reporter shouted.
"That could be, but we’re not going to wait if that happened. We’re going to pay for it to get the bridge rebuilt and open," Biden responded.
Monday was supposed to be a celebration day for the anti-Trump/liberal forces where they could revel in former President Donald Trump having his properties seized because they were asking him to pony up a ridiculously unfair bond in his civil fraud case in New York so that he could appeal the judgment.
But the day didn't go as the anti-Trump forces might have liked.
As we reported, former President Donald Trump scored some major breathing room as a NY appellate court reduced the requisite appeal bond to $175 million and extended the deadline for paying it by 10 days. I would noted that's still a high and unfair amount given the nature of the case, but certainly a more achievable number to make.
This decision also may be a sign that the penalty is going to get reduced on appeal, if Trump doesn't win the appeal outright. I've felt since the decision it would be reduced because it's so unhinged from reality.
Then on top of that, Trump's net worth skyrocketed to about $6.5 billion, and according to Bloomberg making him one of the 500 wealthiest people in the world, with a merger between Trump's social media company, Trump Media & Technology Group, and a shell company, Digital World Acquisition Corp.
Anti-Trump folks/liberals were just incensed and losing their minds over the decision. In their bizarre inside out view of the world, Trump who is getting "special treatment" by having an unconscionable bond -- one that has no relation to damages -- reduced in a case that never should have been prosecuted in the first place.
The whining is just priceless.
My favorite has to be this festival of tears from MSNBC legal commentator Tristan Snell. "This is so infuriating I don't even know what to do. I don't even know if I care what the process is," he said.
"Whatever it is, it's flawed," Snell whined. He claimed it was his own "private system of justice...It would not happen for anyone else."
The tears are delicious.
In a way, they're right. He is being treated in a "special" fashion, charged with things that aren't normally charged and fined beyond relation to any damages. If the anti-Trump folks cared at all about the rule of law, even if they didn't like Trump, they should care about that, they should care about the unfairness here. But they are so intent in their Trump hate, they don't care about that.
People can show their support for President Donald J. Trump by buying some of his social media stock that will be sold, beginning on Tuesday.
Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social (Donald Trump's social media platform) will have an opening stock price on Tuesday at $49.95 on the Nasdaq stock exchange with the new social media ticker: DJT.
Truth Social's parent company will have a market value of approximately $5.5 billion when it starts trading and Trump's stake will be worth about $3 billion.
Trump owns 79 million of the 135 million shares that will be outstanding Tuesday. Those shares have handed Trump a crucial lifeline in posting bond as he appeals the civil fraud judgment against him.

It’s weird watching Democrats try to convince Americans they simply don’t know how good they’ve got it. They cite random data points to insist people are uneasy and unable to pay their bills only because of their imagination. Of course, as I always say, if you control the unit of measure, you control everything. They cherry-pick data to make a general case that doesn’t come anywhere close to registering with individuals. It's a lie by sleight of hand, and it will never work for anyone with half a brain cell in their head.
So, what do they point to to convince everyone they’ve got it made? One of those things makes them a special kind of evil – it’s the stock market.
When Donald Trump was President, he was constantly pointing out when the stock market would hit a new record high. When he did it, Democrats would mock it, screaming about how most Americans weren’t in the stock market, seemingly forgetting about 401(k)s.
Even with that, however, Democrats attacked the idea that a record Dow Jones Industrial Average meant anything other than rich people getting richer.
Now, they’re touting a record stock market as a sign that Americans have it really good under Joe Biden. Hearing a leftist extol the virtues of a high stock market is odd, and then talking about how people’s 401(k)s is hilarious, especially when they’re trying to appeal to people under 60.
Honestly, telling anyone not retired or about to be that they have it good because something they’re years away from being able to collect on is doing well at that moment shows a level of tone-deafness that might set a record. Young people are actually dipping into their retirement accounts because they can’t afford to buy a house pay rent or just make ends meet, so they’re paying a substantial tax penalty to survive. Bidenomics in action.
You can’t take your 401(k) into a grocery store and make food more affordable, the Dow hitting 40,000 doesn’t make necessities cheaper or salaries higher, it just makes people who donate to Joe Biden’s reelection campaign recoup in short order the cash they gave to keep the person responsible for the misery in power. Gas prices remain unchanged in this scenario.
Yet, this seems to be a cornerstone of Biden’s campaign: accounts you can’t touch without paying through the nose, and can’t collect on until you’re retired, are up. So, if nothing changes in the ensuing 20-30 years, you should be grateful and vote for grandpa's hair-sniffer…or something.
The more they tout the stock market, the more it is important to remember something they may well have forgotten, but you never should – they’ve kept you out of it as best they can. Every point they claim is an indication of how well the economy is doing should be a reminder of the money they kept you from having.
Back in 2005, President George W. Bush proposed allowing Americans, if they chose to, to invest a tiny percentage of their Social Security money in the stock market. Unlike the Ponzi Scheme the government completely controls, this would be money people could pass along to their heirs if they should pass away. The Democrats hated every little bit of this concept.
“There is no crisis,” they yelled. This was an attempt to “privatize Social Security” to make the rich even richer, they said. They never really said how.
They also claimed it would put Social Security money at risk somehow. The only way that could be – taking money out of it – is if it were the Ponzi Scheme they’ve always denied it was.
But that’s neither here nor there, just think about how much more money your retirement could have had Democrats not blocked this plan. At the time, the stock market was around 10,000, now it’s almost 40,000. Would you like to have quadrupled your money over those ensuing years? Better yet, would you like to have invested in companies that did much better than that over that time? The possibilities were endless before Democrats limited them to none.
NOW they have the nerve to brag about the stock market and say that, somehow, means the people they excluded from engaging in it are better off than they were 4 years ago, back when they could afford to buy a house, fill up their gas tank AND feed their families? Hell no!
Bidenomics sucks, Joe Biden sucks, Democrats suck. If you’re having any economic problems, it is their doing. If you can’t find a job, if an illegal alien is getting tax money for their housing, food, and general life, that’s because Democrats favor them over you. If you can’t fill your car with gas, can’t pay your rent, can’t afford a home, can’t buy much beyond ramen without making sacrifices elsewhere, thank a Democrat, especially Joe Biden.
And remember that feeling, even if your situation improves slightly by November, or you get used to the pain. Never forget what they’ve done, because while they’re scrambling to make changes to help their reelection chances, the damage Joe Biden will do if he wins and never has to face voters again will be much, much worse.
It
took us decades, but we finally found religion on the Left. The
counterculture initially seemed great: a big bang of movies, civil
rights, women’s rights, gay rights, comedy, art, and investigative
journalism, all in the pursuit of free expression and objective truth.
My
generation was raised on atheism, with the idea that if you pursue
happiness, you will be fulfilled. But it doesn’t work like that. Making
happiness the goal in life ultimately leads to dissatisfaction because
nothing and no one will ever be enough.
After
the 2000 election that the Supreme Court ultimately decided, we started
building our own private paradise on the Left, one that effectively
shut out half the country.
However,
we didn’t come together as a movement until Barack Obama and Hillary
Clinton faced off in 2008. What started out as a contentious battle for
the first female president vs. the first Black president would result in
a powerful coalition rooted in identity politics.
We
had in Barack Obama not just a political leader, the first US president
to build his coalition via Twitter, but a spiritual leader too. Obama
became not just sacred to us but Too Black to Fail.
From
then on, we had our religion. We were the New Puritans, progressive
liberals who made ourselves, our children, our country, and our planet
more sustainable, diverse, and equitable. We were going to save the
climate, ban assault weapons, make gay marriage the law of the land, and
fix healthcare once and for all.
But
every religion needs an oppositional threat. Ours arrived in the form
of the Tea Party Republicans, the Freedom Caucus, and eventually, Trump
and MAGA.
It
wasn’t long before they were all deemed racists who were angry and
resentful of the nation’s first Black president. Our spiritual leader.
Our God. The label stuck.
Demonizing
the Tea Party as racists got us out of the jam of solving the immediate
problem of a government system too cozy with Wall Street and the banks
that were all too big to fail. We didn’t solve the problem of a
suddenly awake America fired up and ready to protest the government.
It
turns out, though, that it wasn’t a coincidence that the Wall Street
meltdown and the subsequent hysteria over racism arrived roughly at the
same time. As Vivek Ramaswamy explains here, pivoting to identity
politics was their get-out-of-jail-free card.
The
greatest fear of the Establishment was the coalescence of the 99% under
one banner. Having previously observed the degree of animosity that
existed on account of racial tension, a plan became apparent: to divide
the 99% up along racial lines. This was primarily to be achieved by
pushing a racial oppression narrative that claimed that white people
owed blacks reparations for past injustices.
Because
the 1% owns the mainstream media, they simply directed their employees
in the media to start pushing that narrative. And they did. The
mainstream media everywhere stopped reporting on class issues entirely,
and started reporting only on racial ones. Any case of racial injustice
was blown up to seem an atrocity, and overcoming it a pressing issue,
while class inequality was ignored completely.
The Great Awokening
After
the death of George Floyd was seen by millions all over the world
within minutes, nothing we’d done up to that point seemed to matter.
That we had Obama for two terms didn’t change what our country was -
built on the backs of slaves and rooted in white supremacy and systemic
racism.
The
mass hysteria swallowed nearly every part of American society as mobs
chanted through neighborhoods, burned buildings to the ground, and
demanded everyone raise their fists in allegiance to Black Lives Matter.
A
friend of mine who lived in one of the richest cities in the world
joined the protests, and they told him he had to hurl himself in front
of Black bodies because the “racist cops” were less likely to shoot a
white person.
All
of these years later, the opposite is true. The whites at the top are
using Black people as shields to protect them from the mob.
After
Biden was elected, everywhere you looked were virtual signaling ruling
class elites shielding themselves from attacks by placing Black people
front and center. They had to be everywhere, or else those at the top
would be seen as “racists.”
Black people were used as symbolic shields in advertisements, hosting awards shows, and starring in superhero movies. Absolve us of our sins, the ruling class begged, and thus, they created Too Black to Fail.
A blessing and a curse, Too Black to Fail
is a temporary fix to an impossible problem. How to rush equality?
Equity. Boost people to top spots based on their gender, skin color, or
marginalized status. Then, make it impossible for them to fail, even if
they aren’t up to the job.
Kamala
Harris was chosen only because Joe Biden wanted to pick “a black
woman.” She failed in the California primary and was eaten alive by
Tulsi Gabbard. As Joe’s Veep, she is viewed as too risky to run for
president. They won’t even allow her to try.
How
do I know all of this? As with everything else related to the Left’s
insanity and hypocrisy, I was right up in it for years. I was a “woke”
blogger before anyone knew what that meant. I believed it was my mission
in life to amplify and “platform” Black artists. Nothing else mattered
to me.
But
in so doing, I expected allegiance in return. When I started pushing
back against “cancel culture,” I was called out on Twitter as a “racist”
and a “white supremacist,” I expected people would treat me differently
because of my history, because of how much time I’d devoted to advocacy
for women and people of color in the film industry and the Oscars.
“What do you want,” someone told me, “a cookie?”
I
realized that I did see myself as a “white savior,” that I was
attempting to absolve my white guilt, and that I knew if I kept calling
everyone else a racist, no one would call me one.
Tyranny Unbound
The
Left’s empire isn’t collapsing because they’re sane and rational people
who can be trusted to lead this country. No, it’s collapsing because
they have become unmoored from objective reality.
And
nowhere is that more clear than the lawfare against Donald Trump. It
perplexes most people in the real world unless you can see it from the
perspective of the Left. When Trump won in 2016, it sent us into waves
of what can only be described as mass hysteria.
When you understand how fearful we all were that there were racists, racists everywhere, and Trump was the leader of a White Supremacist army with one mission - to remove Black and Brown people from power, it’s easier to understand how we’ve gotten here, to one of the darkest and most dangerous times in our history.
When
they have become disconnected from objective reality and dehumanized
Trump and MAGA to this degree, there is no bottom. Anything can be done
to them, and people like Barbra Streisand, tucked away in her high
thread count sheets, cuddling her cloned dog and mainlining MSNBC, will
cheer.
Too Black to Fail
works for them because it doesn’t matter if DA Fani Willis lied on the
stand or if she used public funds to go on a vacation with her lover,
Nathan Wade. None of that matters because she will never be held
accountable by the people at the top. They need her to fight their
battles, to be the shield that protects them from accusations of
corruption and lawfare.
Fani
Willis is marching onward, trying to fulfill her mission for the Biden
administration to be the one who locks Trump up in one of the worst
prisons in America. It has to be a Black woman, you see, to serve Trump
the revenge the Left believes it has suffered for the past eight years.
Willis came right out and said as much when speaking at a church, played
here for Megyn Kelly and Defense Attorney Ashleigh Merchant.
What’s
happening to Trump in New York at the hands of the Trump-obsessed
Attorney General Letitia James is, by all accounts, egregious and
unprecedented. Yet we know it’s all Live-Action Roleplay for the Left,
political theater for their base to get what they’ve been promised for
eight long years. And, as long as they’re all focused on Trump, no one
will be looking at them.
Mara Gay, an editor at the New York Times, seems to have no idea how bad it really is.
There
is no way history writes this story without condemning Letitia James.
She doesn’t know it yet. Like Fani Willis, she is certain success will
be her fate - book deals, movie deals. They know Trump is their golden
ticket and that, at least for now, they are Too Black to Fail.
Yet some reasonable people are out there speaking out, Kevin O’Leary.
For
the majority of Americans who are white, they have found their options
increasingly limited in a society that prioritizes marginalized status.
That’s what happens when you eliminate class from the conversation.
On top of the ongoing border crisis, the federal government was facing a looming shutdown pending the passing of a spending bill. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that regardless of what would have happened, Biden still planned to check out for the weekend, ignoring his responsibilities as leader of the country.
Yet, what is Biden doing this weekend? He’s jetting off to Delaware to enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation, according to the White House.
Customs Border and Protection has processed over 42,000 illegal immigrants through appointments using the CBP One app, which critics say is a way to allow for thousands of aliens to be vetted into the U.S.
Since Biden took office, more than 7 million illegal aliens have entered the U.S.— a number that has quickly surged since the previous administration. Over 2.4 million immigrants illegally came to the U.S. in fiscal year 2023 alone.

These days, finding a poll with good news for President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats is harder than finding a politician in D.C. without their hands in your pockets. A recent survey found that most Americans can clearly see what the slew of indictments against former President Donald Trump is about, an issue that could spell trouble for Biden’s chances of winning reelection.
The survey, conducted by McLaughlin and Associates, revealed that most respondents believe Biden is using the government against Trump through the justice system to skew the outcome of the upcoming presidential election. Interestingly enough, it is not only Republicans who have this perspective – Democrats and Independents also see through the scam.
In the latest McLaughlin and Associates survey shared with Secrets on Wednesday, 56% said they believe that “Joe Biden wants to stop President Trump from winning the election by putting him in jail.” Some 30% disagreed.
Republicans, 86% to 8%, agreed, as did independent voters, 50% to 33%. But so did many Democrats — 32% agreed to 48% who didn’t.
What’s more, voters said they believe Biden is playing a key role in driving the investigations of his rival. Some 58% said Biden has a role. Of that, 40% called his role “major.”
These findings, if accurate, aren’t a positive sign for Team Biden. They suggest a growing cynicism and disillusionment with President Biden’s governance. But even further, this survey shows that most Americans believe the president, along with his cronies at the federal and state levels of government, is actively engaged in a wholesale effort to imprison a political opponent to boost Biden’s chances of winning reelection.
If this is the case, the 91 charges stretched out over numerous indictments might just backfire on Democrats in November – especially with independents, a voting bloc that Biden is struggling to win over.
A new poll conducted by the Center Square and released Wednesday shows that about 55 percent of the electorate disapproves of the president’s performance so far. But among independents, only 32 percent approve of the job Biden is doing, while 60 percent disapprove.
Even worse for Democrats, the poll also shows that if Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cornel West, and Jill Stein remain in the race, a significant chunk of independents would veer away from supporting the president.
What makes this situation even more dire for the president is that Trump has been running neck and neck with Biden even with the politically motivated efforts to prosecute him. Indeed, some polls even show that Trump is slightly ahead of the president.
These results suggest that the indictments are either doing no damage or are helping Trump because voters don’t believe they are 100 percent legitimate, even if they are not fans of the former president. This raises another question: If Trump is convicted of a serious crime, will it even matter? Some polls suggest it would – but it is not easy to tell at this juncture.

The upcoming election is already turning out to have its share of drama. Between the prosecutions against Trump and the revelations emerging from the House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry about Biden, this contest has already been a significant departure from past races. Many times, an incumbent victory is a foregone conclusion. But in this case, it could go either way.
