HUGE: 20 House Republicans demand Barr investigate ‘suitcases’ of ballots in Georgia

By Paul Bedard, Washington Secrets Columnist | Washington Examiner

Photo: Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks

Some 20 House Republicans, showing dissatisfaction with the Justice Department’s lax approach to national charges of voting fraud, demanded today that Attorney General William Barr open an investigation into the Georgia election.

Citing video showing suitcases of ballots during the counting, the 20 lawmakers, led by Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks and including incoming members, also urged Barr to issue a restraining order or temporary injunction to block groups suspected of registering illegal or invalid voters from the upcoming Georgia Senate runoff election.

Brooks, who has already pledged to challenge state Electoral College votes in the House, said, “The evidence is overwhelming that Georgia’s election process has been corrupted by voter fraud and election theft. The perpetrators of these heinous acts must be investigated, and, as appropriate, prosecuted to the fullest.”

He cited a hearing in Georgia yesterday that drew new concerns of ballot stuffing in order to throw the election for Joe Biden in a state President Trump was expected to win.

Brooks said in a statement shared with Secrets:

“No one should ever be allowed to bring an estimated 15,000 to 18,000 ballots to a vote-counting facility in suitcases; hide those suitcases under a table before the vote-counting facility opens; at roughly 10:30 PM at night, declare that vote tabulation is finished for the night and will resume at 8:30 AM the next day; order all poll watchers and media to leave the facility; and then, once the facility is reduced to a bare minimum of five co-workers (and possibly criminal co-conspirators), with no poll watchers present; roll out the suitcases from their hiding place, withdraw thousands of ballots, and stuff the vote-counting machines with what appears to be, by the conduct observed, illegal and fraudulent ballots. Yet that is exactly what a newly released video of a polling location reveals.”

Barr has been under fire for his recent statement that the department hasn’t seen enough fraud to change the results showing a Biden victory.

Trump has since been mulling firing his loyal lieutenant.

Below is the letter and a list of those who signed it:

December 4, 2020

The Honorable William Barr
Attorney General U.S. Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, D.C. 20530

Dear Attorney General Barr,

Two pillars of a successful republic are election integrity and confidence in our democratic processes. As Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger revealed Monday, his office is investigating multiple organizations attempting to register illegal and invalid voters in Georgia. [1] As the Georgia Secretary of State’s office lacks prosecutorial power, we ask that the Department of Justice simultaneously investigate and prosecute this illegal behavior under federal law. Additionally, we ask that you use your authority as Attorney General to issue a preliminary order preventing any organization from registering illegal and invalid voters in the upcoming January 5th Georgia U.S. Senate Runoff Elections.

By way of background, these organizations stand accused of registering a deceased Alabama voter, encouraging illegal voting by out of state residents, as well as knowingly sending Georgia voter registration applications out of state - as far as New York.[2] Allegedly, Operation New Voter Registration Georgia encouraged college students to temporarily change their residency so that they could vote in the runoff election,[3] which is illegal under multiple federal statutes. See 252 U.S.C. § 10307(c) & 18 U.S.C. § 371. Reportedly, Vote Forward attempted to register a dead voter,[4] which is also illegal under federal statute. See 52 U.S.C. §§ 10307(c), 10307(e), 20511(2). America Votes and the New Georgia Project, founded by Stacey Abrams, both are accused of sending voter registration application to invalid addresses.[5]

Federal law gives the Attorney General the authority to issue preliminary relief when there are reasonable grounds to believe that any person is about to engage in any election offense. See 52 USC § 10308(d). [6] We strongly urge you to use your authority as Attorney General to issue a restraining order or temporary injunction preventing organizations from registering illegal and invalid voters in the upcoming election. Swift action is needed to ensure that illegal votes do not dilute the rights of legal voters.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Mo Brooks (AL-05), Jody Hice (GA-10), Randy Weber (TX-14), Ted Yoho (FL-03), Michael Cloud (TX-27), Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04), Andy Harris (MD-01), Andy Biggs (AZ-05), Scott Perry (PA-10), Alex Mooney (WV-02), Tedd Budd (NC-13), Benjamin Cline (VA-06), Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Jason Smith (MO-08), Ralph Norman (SC-05), Tom McClintock (CA-04), Barry Loudermilk (GA-11), David Rouzer (NC-07), Russ Fulcher (ID-03), Fred Keller (PA-12), Bob Gibbs (OH-07), Majorie Taylor Greene (member-elect, GA-14), Lauren Boebert (member-elect, CO-03), Barry Moore (member-elect, AL-02), Andrew Clyde (member-elect, GA-09).

64 GOP Pennsylvania lawmakers send letter urging Congress to block electoral votes from going to Biden

By Andrew Mark Miller, Social Media Producer  | Washington Examiner

Pennsylvania Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi

More than 60 Pennsylvania Republican lawmakers have signed a letter asking their representatives in Congress to block the commonwealth’s electoral votes from going to President-elect Joe Biden.

The letter, signed by 64 Republican legislators and sent to Pennsylvanian members of Congress on Friday, outlined several ways in which they believe Gov. Tom Wolf and others “undermined” election safeguards that give the public confidence in the results.

“The Pennsylvania Election Code requires that all mail-in ballots be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day; Governor Wolf ordered that this statutory deadline be waived in some counties during the Primary Election, then sought its waiver statewide for the General Election,” read the letter as it mentioned other grievances, such as issues with inspecting ballots, counting defective ballots, and poll watching.

“For these reasons, we the undersigned members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly urge you to object, and vote to sustain such objection, to the Electoral College votes received from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2021,” it concluded.

Multiple Pennsylvania politicians have already announced that they will not stand in the way of certifying the state’s 20 electoral votes, including Sen. Pat Toomey, who said in a statement that he “will not be objecting to Pennsylvania’s slate of electors.”

After the Electoral College meets on Dec. 14, the election process shifts to Congress as it will then have to certify the election results in early January — at which point, some Trump allies have suggested an opening exists to challenge the results.

Alabama Republican Rep. Mo Brooks floated a long-shot plan on Wednesday to force a deliberation in Congress on the matter, which President Trump appeared to appreciate in a tweet the next day.

“Thank you to Representative Mo Brooks!” Trump tweeted.

Trump continues to pursue legal avenues to contest the Nov. 3 election results, citing widespread voter fraud and improprieties in multiple battleground states. Major news networks and even some government officials, including Attorney General William Barr, have disputed the notion that voter fraud changed the outcome of the election.

Giuliani claims 'big win' on Michigan judge's order to examine election equipment related to marijuana proposal

By Mica Soellner, Breaking News Reporter | Washington Examiner

President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani claimed a victory over a county judge in Michigan issuing a preliminary order to look into county election equipment. However, the order was limited to a dispute over a marijuana proposal.

Circuit Judge Kevin Elsenheimer, a former Republican state lawmaker, ordered the preservation of election orders and placed a protective order around "forensic images and/or other information gleaned from the forensic investigation" in a five-page order, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Giuliani claimed the order as a win for the president's legal team he is a part of, which has disputed the election results in several states over allegations of voter fraud.

"BIG WIN FOR HONEST ELECTIONS. Antrim County Judge in Michigan orders forensic examination of 22 Dominion voting machines. This is where the untrustworthy Dominion machine flipped 6000 votes from Trump to Biden. Spiking of votes by Dominion happened all over the state," Giuliani tweeted on Friday.

BIG WIN FOR HONEST ELECTIONS. Antrim County Judge in Michigan orders forensic examination of 22 Dominion voting machines. This is where the untrustworthy Dominion machine flipped 6000 votes from Trump to Biden. Spiking of votes by Dominion happened all over the state.

---

Giuliani pointed to errors made in Antrim County's unofficial election results, which were posted on the state website the night of the election and showed Democrat Joe Biden beating Trump, despite the county normally being solid Republican territory.

The misreporting was the result of human error by a GOP county clerk, who corrected the error. The clerk incorrectly updated the candidate information sent to the election software, while Dominion vote tabulation machines and all other related software operated as they were supposed to, according to local elections officials.

The latest order does not revolve around the results of the presidential election but rather a village marijuana proposal.

A challenge on the matter was brought forward by voter William Bailey, who raised the issue with the close concerns of the proposal, which allowed a marijuana retailer in the village of Central Lake. The ordinance was tied 262-262 in votes, which would mean a loss for the proposal. Bailey sued the county on Nov. 23, seeking a restraining order and preliminary injunction against the county.

Once ballots were recounted, the proposal passed by one vote. Bailey alleged three ballots that were damaged during the retabulation weren't included in the revised results, according to the Associated Press.

Elsenheimer said Bailey is "is entitled to have his vote counted and the (county) has a duty to maintain an accurate and secure election."

On Fox News Sunday morning, Jenna Ellis, an attorney on Trump's legal team, claimed that her team was going in around 8:30 a.m. to examine the machines. The examination is expected to last 8 hours, and the results will come to light in 48 hours.

The judge did not mention Antrim County's presidential election results, which ended in Trump's favor after the initial error was corrected. In Antrim County, Trump defeated President-elect Biden by almost 4,000 votes out of the 16,000 votes cast.

As a whole, Michigan remains a victory for Biden, who beat Trump by more than 150,000 votes. Trump has refused to concede to Biden since he was declared the winner a month ago.

Alito moves up deadline for Pennsylvania officials to respond to lawsuit seeking to block Biden victory

By Anthony Leonardi, Breaking News Reporter  | Washington Examiner

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito changed a key deadline for Pennsylvania officials to respond to a lawsuit from Republicans seeking to flip the state election's result from Joe Biden to President Trump.

On Sunday, Alito moved the deadline for Pennsylvania officials to respond from Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. to Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 9 a.m., the day of the state's safe harbor deadline. The previous deadline meant that Congress could not change any of the electors set by the state after the date. This year, the Electoral College meets on Dec. 14 to cast its votes in the election, making the winner of the election the next president.

Republicans in Pennsylvania asked the Supreme Court to overturn the state's 2019 law on mail-in voting, a legal endeavor spearheaded by GOP Rep. Mike Kelly and Trump ally Sean Parnell. They argue that a state statute known as Act 77 violates the state and federal Constitution by allowing for “no-excuse mail-in” votes on a large scale. The act allowed voters to cast their ballots by mail up to 50 days prior to an election without giving an excuse, which was previously required in order to receive an absentee ballot. More than 2.5 million Pennsylvania residents voted by mail last month, constituting over one-third of total ballots cast statewide.

The state's Supreme Court shot down the lawsuit, prompting Republican officials to make an appeal to the Supreme Court. Greg Teufel, an attorney for the plaintiffs, told the Washington Examiner last week that the Pennsylvania high court “slammed the courthouse door shut before the election” and has now “slammed the courthouse door shut after the election.”

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz urged the Supreme Court to hear Kelly's lawsuit, saying the case "raises serious legal issues."

"This appeal argues that Pennsylvania cannot change the rules in the middle of the game. If Pennsylvania wants to change how voting occurs, the state must follow the law to do so," Cruz said. The Republican senator also said the justices on Pennsylvania's Supreme Court made a decision that "reflect their political and ideological biases."

“Just over a month ago, Justice Alito, along with Justice Thomas and Justice Gorsuch, wrote — correctly, I believe — concerning the Pennsylvania court's previous decision to count ballots received after Election Day, that ‘there is a strong likelihood that the State Supreme Court decision violates the Federal Constitution," Cruz continued.

Trump announces lawyer Rudy Giuliani tests positive for COVID-19

By Anthony Leonardi, Breaking News Reporter | Washington Examiner

President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani tested positive for the coronavirus, the president announced.

"Rudy Giuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus," Trump tweeted. "Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!"

The Washington Examiner reached out to Giuliani, the White House, and the Trump campaign for further comment. Giuliani was reportedly at Georgetown University Medical Center following his diagnosis, according to the New York Times.

Giuliani has repeatedly been exposed to people who have contracted the coronavirus, including Trump before the first presidential debate with then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden. President Trump and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus in early October, which required him to be hospitalized for several days at Walter Reed Medical Center to recover. However, the first couple's recovery means that they may not be at a heightened risk of contracting the virus.

Giuliani's age, 76, puts him at greater risk category for the virus. It was not immediately clear why the president was the first to announce Giuliani's diagnosis.

Giuliani has spearheaded the president's legal efforts to overturn the results of the election, making allegations of a national conspiracy of voter fraud.

There have been more than 14.66 million people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in the United States, with over 281,000 deaths, according to the Johns Hopkins University tracker.

'We Will Still Win,' Trump Rallies Georgians Ahead of Runoffs

 By Bronson Stocking|Townhall.com

President Trump rallied Georgians on Saturday and encouraged Republicans to vote in two Senate runoff races that will determine which party controls the upper chamber of Congress.

"We’re gathered here tonight to ensure ... that David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler win the most important Congressional run-off probably in American history," Trump said, highlighting the uniqueness of a state holding two runoff elections with such national implications.

"You have to get out, you have to vote, you have to make sure you have every vote counted," the president said, before detailing some of the alleged issues impacting his own election in the state.

Control over the Senate has taken on extreme importance for Republicans worried about Democrats having control over both Congress and the White House. Democrats have threatened to pack the courts, end the filibuster, grant statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico, and would likely pass the Green New Deal and other crippling legislation if given the chance to do so.

The president said he remains committed to pursuing legal challenges regarding the Nov. 3 election, telling rallygoers that he will ultimately emerge as the winner of the presidential election. The president also said Democrats will attempt to cheat in the upcoming Senate runoffs.

"And they're going to try and rig this election too," said Trump, as the rally chanted "stop the steal!"

President Trump has been critical of Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp's and Sec. of State Raffensperger's reluctance to aggressively pursue claims of voter fraud in Georgia. On Saturday, the president repeated his calls for a signature audit of ballots in the state.

WATCH: Team Trump Says Video Is 'Smoking Gun' Evidence of Election Fraud, Ballot-Stuffing in Georgia

 BY MATT MARGOLIS | P J Media

AP Photo/John Bazemore

The Trump legal team has presented what they say is compelling evidence of voter fraud, alleging that election night video footage from Fulton County, Ga., shows at least four suitcases of ballots being pulled out from under a table after election supervisors had told poll workers to leave the room. The footage appears to also show four women staying behind to count votes.

The Trump legal team presented this evidence during a hearing on Georgia voter fraud before a Georgia State Senate committee.

“Wow! Blockbuster testimony taking place right now in Georgia,” tweeted President Trump Thursday afternoon. “Ballot stuffing by Dems when Republicans were forced to leave the large counting room.”

Trump added, “Plenty more coming, but this alone leads to an easy win of the State!”

Rudy Giuliani declared this evidence to be the smoking gun.

Grant Stinchfield of Newsmax called the footage “a total game changer!”

But, others say there is an explanation.

Stephen Fowler of NPR says that the man in the blue jacket that can be seen in the video is “an official monitor from the secretary of state’s office who was there watching the vote counting.” According to Fowler, “While some partisan monitors left, it wasn’t unsupervised.”

But, according to Jacki Pick, an attorney working with Trump’s legal team, even though “two Republican field organizers had been sent” there to observe the vote counting, “At no time  were they permitted to observe in any meaningful way.”

Pick explains that the four election workers remained behind and continued counting and tabulating “well into the night,” even though GOP workers said in sworn affidavits that a poll worker had declared at 10 p.m. that counting had concluded for the evening and would not resume until the following morning.

According to Pick, the poll workers that stayed behind continued “counting, unobserved, unsupervised, not in public view—as [Georgia] statute requires—until about 1:00 in the morning,” Pick said.

GOP poll workers learned that counting continued from news crews.

“This shocked them, so they returned back to State Farm Arena at about 1:00 in the morning where they confirmed that people had in fact just left,” said Pick.

Pick also said that the Trump legal team wasn’t sure if storing ballots in suitcases under tables was standard procedure. Reviewing footage from earlier in the day shows that it was not routine.

“Where did they come from? Who put them there? When did they put them there?” Pick asked.

Trump Legal Team: We Have 'So Much Evidence' of Fraud in Nevada 'We Had to Rent a Separate Car'

BY MATT MARGOLIS P J Media

AP Photo/John Locher

An audit of 1,400 mail-in ballots in Nevada found that two percent were cast by voters who never actually received a ballot in the mail, and one percent were cast by voters who say they didn’t even vote.

The audit, which was conducted by Baselice and Associates for the Trump campaign’s legal team in Nevada, found that 579,000 absentee ballots were returned to the state by Election Day. If three percent of those ballots were improperly cast, that comes to 17,300 illegal votes.

The Trump campaign was also granted the right to inspect voting machine used during the election, though they’ve yet to be granted a proper inspection.

“Machines were not usable, and we were not able to make a determination about the accuracy and integrity of the election process based on this inspection,” Trump’s legal team said. “We are entitled to a computer forensic inspection in accordance with the judge’s order. We were prevented from doing one. This was a digital election and we were not allowed a digital inspection. The ‘inspection’ today was like trying to determine if a car had failed brakes without getting underneath the car.”

The Trump campaign alleges that 130,000 ballots from Clark County were verified using a machine they believe was not operated properly. They’ve long held the belief that President Trump is the true winner in Nevada. The Silver State has six electoral votes.

A hearing is to be held in Carson City, Nevada, on Thursday. “We have so much evidence we had to rent a separate car,” says Matt Schlapp, chairman of  the American Conservative Union, who’s with the Trump legal team in the state.

On Wednesday, Schlapp also said that “The numbers of illegal ballots in NV from outside Nevada has now doubled” from his original assessment of just 9,000.

WHISTLEBLOWER: I Drove 'Thousands of Ballots' From New York to Pennsylvania

BY TYLER O'NEIL P J Media

YouTube screenshot of truck driver/whistleblower Jesse Morgan speaking with The Amistad Project.

On Tuesday, a truck driver testified that he had driven thousands of ballots from Bethpage, N.Y., to Lancaster, Pa., two weeks before Election Day. Phill Kline, a former attorney general of Kansas and director of The Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, said The Amistad Project has corroborated the truck driver’s story.

“The evidence demonstrates, and it’s through eyewitness testimony that’s been corroborated by others by their eyewitness testimony, that 130,000 to 280,000 completed ballots for the 2020 general election were shipped from Bethpage, New York, to Lancaster, Pennsylvania,” to a facility incapable of processing them, Kline explained in the press conference. A spokeswoman later clarified that the estimate ranges from 144,000 to 288,000 ballots.

“This evidence demands investigation. This evidence demands answers,” Kline insisted. He reported that The Amistad Project is working with the FBI and U.S. attorneys in various jurisdictions to get to the bottom of the story.

Jesse Morgan, the truck driver involved, told his story at the press conference.

“I drive a tractor-trailer for U.S. postal service, a subcontractor. I drive a route route from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Bethpage, New York, to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and back to Lancaster,” he explained.

“On October 21, when I arrived for my usual route for Bethpage,” he recalled, “an expeditor made three references to ballots that were to be loaded into my trailer, including saying, ‘Hey, you have ballots today.'”

He recalled receiving 24 Gaylord boxes full of ballots, stacked on top of each other. He saw that “envelopes had handwritten return addresses.”

“They were complete ballots. I didn’t think much of it at the time,” Morgan said. When he arrived in Harrisburg, he was not allowed to offload the mail. “I was made to wait for roughly 6 hours, from 9:15 a.m. to nearly 3 p.m.,” he recalled.

“All of this was weird,” Morgan said. After waiting for six hours, he went inside and asked to see the expeditor. “I was told to wait for the transportation supervisor,” an official Morgan had never dealt with. “He’s a top guy, he’s the kind of guy that would speak to my boss.”

“The supervisor told me to drive to Lancaster without being unloaded in Harrisburg,” Morgan said. “I knew the ballots were loaded for Harrisburg.” He also recalled asking for his ticket, the slip that shows he arrived, and a late slip to prove he had been delayed. The supervisor refused to give him the slip.

“I then drove to Lancaster, unhooked my trailer in its normal place, and then drove my truck to where I always park it,” he recalled. “The next day, it just got weirder. As I arrived at Lancaster… my trailer was gone, not there anymore.”

“Since I started driving that Bethpage route, I’ve always had trailer 10-R-1440,” Morgan said. He noticed because he really liked that trailer.

“What happened on October 21 was a series of unusual events that cannot be a coincidence,” the truck driver insisted. “I know I saw ballots with return addresses filled out, thousands of them, thousands. Loaded onto my trailer in New York and headed for Pennsylvania.”

“As things became weirder I got to thinking and wondered why I was driving complete ballots from New York to Pennsylvania. I didn’t know why, so I decided to speak up,” Morgan said.

Col. Tony Schaeffer, who is working with The Amistad Project team, said the organization had backed up Morgan’s story.

Kline said sources told him Morgan’s story “matched up perfectly on how you would insert fraudulent mail into the stream.”

At the press conference, other whistleblowers spoke about postal workers delivering Joe Biden campaign mail while they discarded mail from the Trump campaign.

These claims deserve serious investigation.

If You Wanted to Rig An Election, You'd Do Exactly What Dems Did in 2020

By Larry O'Connor | Townhall.com

Source: AP Photo/Matt Slocum

This column does not in any way allege that Democrats, Joe Biden, the Mainstream media, Big Tech, or any other entrenched, left-leaning institution in this country rigged the 2020 election.

God forbid anyone would think such a thing.

If this column were to even come close to making such an assertion, it would be flagged, banned, and removed from social media platforms and other avenues of entry to this website in an effort to prevent the unwashed masses from informing themselves of the facts surrounding this past ballot process.

So, let us repeat: This column does not accuse the Biden campaign or the Democratic Party of cheating in the 2020 election.

Got it?

That said if they were going to cheat...here's what they would have done.

First, they'd make sure that the voter rolls were full of ineligible voters. Deceased people, non-citizens, and people who have moved out of state would not be purged from the rolls, and there would be no mechanism in place to purge those ineligible voters.

Further, they wouldn't have any preemptive check to ensure that only eligible voters registered in the first place. For instance, you can't get a job in this country without showing a passport, birth certificate, or green card for a standard I-9 form. This ensures that only people eligible to legally work here get a job. There is no such citizen check when you register to vote. It's on the "honor system" that you are a legal citizen when you fill out your registration form. And, let's face it, why would someone who breaks our immigration laws by entering, staying, and working in our country illegally ever break our election laws, too? That's a solid policy there.

Next, they'd modify existing election laws so that voters could mail-in ballots on a whim and not for a specific "absentee voting" reason. This way, in-person voting (the most secure kind of voting) would diminish, and mail-in voting (the least secure) would increase.

Next, they'd send a ballot to every voter on the voter rolls regardless of whether they asked for an absentee ballot or not. This way, millions of live ballots are floating in the system and are outside the tight custodian controls of the election apparatus in your state.

Now that they've hypothetically flooded the zone with millions of ballots that have been sent out to everyone, regardless of their eligibility to vote, they would need the policy to count every vote that came in, even votes that shouldn't be counted.

Here's how they'd do that...again if they were to cheat. Not that this column would ever suggest that they did cheat. This is all just an academic exercise, you see?

First, they'd count ballots without any careful check of the signatures on the ballot versus the signature on the voter's registration.

They'd then separate the envelopes and any other identifying documents from the ballots themselves and discard them. This would make it hard to verify the validity of each ballot and impossible to check for duplicates or dead voters.

To add to the hypothetical cheat totals, they'd count ballots that were received after Election Day.

Plus, you'd stop counting at a certain point so you could properly ascertain exactly how many votes you'd need to "find" to help your chosen candidate win the counting process.

Next, you'd conduct the counting and verification process without any legitimate oversight. If you were really brazen, you'd keep election watchers 30 or 40 feet away from the processing area, or you'd even put giant sheets of poster board in the windows outside the processing room so that observers couldn't see from the hallway outside your operation.

Again, to reiterate, this column does not suggest that Biden or his party cheated or in any way rigged the process so that cheating could easily occur in the 2020 election.

We are merely pointing out that if they wanted to cheat and rig the system...they'd do exactly what they did.

And they did.

Economics Legend Walter E. Williams Dies at 84

By Matt Palumbo  | Posted: December 2, 2020

George Mason University economist Don Boudreaux posted to his blog this morning that at some point last night or this morning, his colleague and fellow economist Walter Williams had passed away. Williams was 84.

Williams was known for his conservative and libertarian views, with his columns appearing in Creators, Townhall, World Net Daily, and Jewish World Review, among many others. In his columns Williams railed against liberal economics, gun control, Marxism, teachers unions, race hustlers, and any other threats to human liberty he saw in the world.

Williams’ final column was published yesterday, titled “Black Education Tragedy Is New.” In it he examines the dismal test scores in inner cities today, and offers rebuttals to the claim that they’re the result of “systemic” racism.

In addition to his columns, Williams had authored eleven books, the most known being “The State Against Blacks” (1982), “Liberty Versus the Tyranny of Socialism” (2008), “Up From the Projects” (2010) and “Race & Economics: How Much Can Be Blamed on Discrimination?” (2011).

Williams has often been compared to Thomas Sowell in terms of their scope of writing. The two first met on the campus of UCLA in 1969 and became friends for decades to come. An entire book called “A Man of Letters” has been published containing letters between the two.

Williams has made numerous media appearances over the years, including on Milton Friedman’s docuseries “Free to Choose,” Stossel, ReasonTV, Life, Libery, & Levin, and countless others.

A documentary about his life and accomplishments called “Suffer No Fools” was released in 2014.

May Mr. Williams rest in peace.

Another sad passing to report today—the economist Walter Williams, at age 84. Where to begin describing this wonderful man and teacher? I first came across his early book The State Against the Blacks when it came out in the early 1980s. This and many other works over the years made the compelling case that, as William himself put it, “The welfare state has done to black Americans what slavery couldn’t do.”

Wikipedia records this about him:

Williams began in the 1970s to offer colleagues a “certificate of amnesty and pardon” to all white people for Western Civilization’s sins against blacks – and “thus obliged them not to act like damn fools in their relationships with Americans of African ancestry.”

We could certainly use a good deal of this right now.

Among the many great pieces about Walter I could point out, see this Jason Riley WSJ column about him from 2011. And you can find lots and lots of wonderful material by and about him on YouTube. (This 8-minute video from the 1980s is a good place to start.)

I didn’t know him well, but we did once share billing as speakers on a British Isles cruise with the Young Americas Foundation, culminating with a leisurely walking tour of Edinburgh that ended up at the gravesite of Adam Smith, which is where the photo below was taken. (Yes, he was quite tall. In fact, he was a cousin of NBA great Julius Erving. I was tempted at times to call him “Dr. W.”)

If Walter had any flaw, it was that his strong libertarianism led him to have too much sympathy with the cause of secession (James Buchanan had the same flaw), and by extension to southern secession in 1860, which in turn led to a dislike of Lincoln. This view is not unique among certain kinds of libertarians. We argued vigorously over the issue; he neither gave ground, nor was he anything less than cheerful and patient throughout, making him a delight to argue with. No wonder students and colleagues loved him.

Black Education Tragedy Is New

By Walter E. Williams | Townhall.com | Posted: Dec 02, 2020 12:01 AM

Walter E. Williams was a professor of economics at George Mason University.

Several years ago, Project Baltimore began an investigation of Baltimore's school system. What they found was an utter disgrace. In 19 of Baltimore's 39 high schools, out of 3,804 students, only 14 of them, or less than 1%, were proficient in math. In 13 of Baltimore's high schools, not a single student scored proficient in math. In five Baltimore City high schools, not a single student scored proficient in math or reading. Despite these academic deficiencies, about 70% of the students graduate and are conferred a high school diploma -- a fraudulent high school diploma.

The Detroit Public Schools Community District scored the lowest in the nation compared to 26 other urban districts for reading and mathematics at the fourth- and eighth-grade levels. A recent video captures some of this miseducation in Milwaukee high schools: In two city high schools, only one student tested proficient in math and none are proficient in English. Yet, the schools spent a full week learning about "systemic racism" and "Black Lives Matter activism." By the way, a Nov. 19, 2020, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article asks: "How many Black teachers did you have? I've only had two." The article concludes, "For future Black students, that number needs to go up." New York City is one of many school systems in the United States set to roll out Black Lives Matter-themed lesson plans. According to the NYC Department of Education, teachers will delve into "systemic racism," police brutality and white privilege in their classrooms.

Should we blame this education tragedy on racial discrimination or claim that it is a legacy of slavery? Dr. Thomas Sowell's research in "Education: Assumptions Versus History" documents academic excellence at Baltimore's Frederick Douglass High School and others. This academic excellence occurred during the late 1800s to mid-1900s, an era when blacks were much poorer than today and faced gross racial discrimination. Frederick Douglass High School of yesteryear produced many distinguished alumni, such as Thurgood Marshall and Cab Calloway, and several judges, congressmen and civil rights leaders. Frederick Douglass High School was second in the nation in black Ph.Ds. among its alumni.

Also, in Sowell's "Education: Assumptions Versus History" is the story of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, a black public school in Washington, D.C. As early as 1899, its students scored higher on citywide tests than any of the city's white schools. From its founding in 1870 to 1955, most of its graduates went off to college. Dunbar's distinguished alumni include U.S. Sen. Edward Brooke, physician Charles Drew and, during World War II, nearly a score of majors, nine colonels and lieutenant colonels, and a brigadier general. Today's Paul Laurence Dunbar and Frederick Douglass high schools have material resources that would have been unimaginable to their predecessors. However, having those resources have meant absolutely nothing in terms of academic achievement.

If we accept the notion that rotten education is not preordained, then I wonder when the black community will demand an end to an educational environment that condemns so many youngsters to mediocrity. You can bet the rent money that white liberals and high-income blacks would not begin to accept the kind of education for their children that most blacks receive.

The school climate, seldom discussed, plays a very important role in education. During the 2017-18 school year, there were an estimated 962,300 violent incidents and 476,100 nonviolent incidents in U.S. public schools nationwide. Schools with 1,000 or more students had at least one sworn law enforcement officer. About 90% of those law enforcement officers carry firearms. Aside from violence, there are many instances of outright disrespect for teachers. First- and second-graders telling teachers to "Shut the f--- up" and calling teachers "b---h."

Years ago, much of the behavior of young people that we see today would have never been tolerated. There was the vice principal's office where corporal punishment would be administered for gross infractions. If the kid was unwise enough to tell his parents what happened, he might get more punishment at home. Today, unfortunately, we have replaced practices that worked with practices that sound good and caring. And we are witnessing the results.

Legitimacy of Biden Win Buried by Objective Data

 By David Catron

Emerging information from the states render his victory less and less plausible.

During the weeks following November 3, innumerable election experts and statistical analysts have pored over the voting data upon which former Vice President Joe Biden’s purported campaign victory ostensibly stands. A growing body of evidence ranging from straightforward ballot audits to complex quantitative analyses suggests that the tabulation of the votes was characterized by enough chicanery to alter the outcome of the election. Consequently, a consensus has gradually developed among the auditors of publicly available information released by the states, and it contradicts the narrative promulgated by the Democrats and the media. The more data experts see, the less convinced they are that Biden won.

Among the analysts who question the legitimacy of Biden’s victory is Dr. Navid Keshavarz-Nia, a cybersecurity expert whose technical expertise was touted by the New York Times last September and who has been described as a hero in the Washington Monthly. It’s unlikely that either publication will be singing his praises for his work pursuant to the recent election. His damning analysis of the electronic manipulation of votes that occurred in the early hours of November 4 appears in a sworn affidavit included with C.J. Pearson v. Kemp, a lawsuit filed by Attorney Sidney Powell in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. His nine-page affidavit (Exhibit 26) describes how it is possible to manipulate votes, where this occurred, and sums up his findings as follows:

I conclude with high confidence that the election 2020 data were altered in all battleground states resulting in hundreds of thousands of votes that were cast for President Trump to be transferred to Vice President Biden. These alterations were the result of systemic and widespread exploitable vulnerabilities in DVS, Scytl/SOE Software and Smartmatic systems that enabled operators to achieve the desired results. In my view, the evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible.

Dr. Keshavarz-Nia is by no means the only expert to reach the conclusion that widespread vote-tampering occurred. This examination of the election results, for example, uses quantitative analysis to identify some very odd anomalies in the 2020 vote patterns. But it isn’t necessary to be a sophisticated statistician or cybersecurity expert possessed of arcane knowledge of how voting machines operate to see that enough ballot fraud occurred to change the election results in several states. That Keshavarz-Nia provides his findings in a sworn affidavit, under penalty of perjury, renders him highly credible. Still, his conclusions are rather opaque to anyone without an enormous amount of training and experience in his field. This requires many of us to take what he says on faith.

Bearing this in mind, Matt Braynard of the Voter Integrity Project (VIP) approached the 2020 results in a far less arcane fashion. His team analyzed publicly available data on absentee ballots, and he explained his findings in a way that any intelligent voter can understand. VIP looked at suspicious ballot activity in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Among the most significant VIP findings involved people who changed their state of residence, yet voted absentee using their prior address. In Arizona, which Biden “won” by 10,457 votes, there were 19,997 questionable votes. In Georgia, which Biden “won” by 12,670 votes, VIP found 138,221 such votes. In Wisconsin, which Biden “won” by 20,608 votes, there were 26,673 such votes. As Braynard told the Epoch Times:

This election, it appears to me, has been decided by ballots that are highly questionable.… I can give you the list of the people who voted in this election, who filed National Change of Address cards in Georgia, moving themselves to another state.… I can also show you the subsequent state voter registrations of these individuals in other states, who then cast absentee ballots back in Georgia.… I have no confidence that Joe Biden is the deserved winner of this election.

Braynard has been asked to present the findings of the Voter Integrity Project to Monday’s hearing with members of Arizona’s legislature. Moreover, as Braynard tweeted Friday, “The VIP findings have also been included in court filings in PA, GA, MI, WI, and AZ, including declarations we collected.” Sunday, another tweet by Braynard revealed that the FBI has proactively requested VIP findings that may indicate illegal ballots.  Meanwhile, no discussion of 2020 election skulduggery is complete without a discussion of the Democrat precincts that record more votes than registered voters. Rep. Bill Posey (R-Fla.) tweeted the following on that perennial topic: “According to an affidavit in the MI lawsuit, one Michigan precinct/twnship had 781.91% turnout. How does this happen?”

Good question. No fewer than six precincts listed by Rep. Posey experienced turnout exceeding 120 percent. Another 10 allegedly enjoyed 100 percent turnout. This is an insult to the electorate’s intelligence, and it happened in Democrat precincts all across the nation. From World War II through 2016 average turnout in a presidential election was about 56 percent. Yet we are expected to believe that, in 2020, the national turnout was 66 percent. It simply does not pass the laugh test. This looks to be the result of widespread Democrat chicanery facilitated by high-handed flouting of federal, state, and county election laws. Joe Biden’s victory is no more legitimate than his plagiarized rhetoric or working-class credentials. His Potemkin presidency would be no more authentic than the man himself.
