The Commonalities Between the Rise of the Nazis and the Tactics of the American Left Cannot be Ignored

By Steve McCann

I recently wrote a column wherein I accused the American Left and its wholly owned subsidiary, the Democrat party, of using Fascist or Nazi tactics in their determination to permanently transform the nation into a one-party hybrid socialist state by exploiting nonexistent “systemic racism” and baseless fears of “white supremacy.”  This characterization did not set well with the gullible and self-righteous Democrat voters I know or those who contacted me.  They, rather vociferously, claimed that the utilization of Nazi tactics only applies to the American right and that they, the left, are only motivated by caring for the people.

However, any thoughtful and unemotional examination of the tactics the Nazi Party used to gain and maintain power in the 1920’s and 30’s will reveal numerous stark similarities to those being used by the left and the Democrat Party today.

First, racial division was a central component of Nazi political strategy and philosophy.  The Nazi Party was, without doubt, the most racially obsessed political party in human history.  Today’s Democrat party is second only to the Nazi Party in their racial obsession.   Every piece of legislation, every accusation against their opponents, every aspect of American society, even weather and climate is framed in racism.

The Nazi Party’s obsession with race focused on their perverted belief in the inferiority and superiority of the races. This opened the door for blaming various racial groups for all the problems facing the country.   The American left are claiming the root cause of virtually all problems facing the nation is “systemic racism” as theoretically instigated by one particular race.

This obsession with race led to what is now often referred to as “identity politics.”  Identity politics was not invented by the modern American left.  It was, in fact, a weapon in the arsenal of the Nazi Party.  As the Nazis, using the national media they controlled, sliced and diced the populace into specific identity groups and then promulgated grievance-riddled policies aimed at these manufactured factions in order to foment anger at a specific identity group previously isolated by the party, the Jews.  The Democrat party and the left, using the so-called mainstream media, is doing the same among their manufactured identity groups (as defined by race or sexual orientation or ethnicity) in order to foment anger and isolate a specific group: white, heterosexual Christians.

Second, the Nazi Party was fixated on censorship and eliminating any cultural institution, publication or speech that did not fully support them.  In other words, their version of today’s “cancel culture.”   The Nazis were notorious for book-burning rituals in order to intimidate and send the message that they would shut down anyone and anything that did not align with their ideology.  Once in control of the national levers of powers, they did so with impunity.   The American left is figuratively burning books as it uses social media mobs as the vehicle to send the message that they will shut down anyone or anything that does not align with their ideology.

 Cancel Culture, Nazi style

Third, the Nazis perfected the art of indoctrinating the citizenry through propaganda and “fake news.”  Joseph Goebbels, Nazi minister of propaganda, is credited with saying: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” and “Think of the press as a great keyboard on which government can play.”

This strategy has been and continues to be used to great success by the American left and their fellow travelers in the mainstream (Democrat) media.  Whether it is the Russian collusion hoax, the so-called armed insurrection on January 6, 2021, climate change as an existential threat to mankind, suppression of voting rights, white supremacy running rampant, the necessity of lockdowns for the Covid pandemic or a myriad of other fabrications, they left lies with impunity as a means to their ends… as did the Nazis.

Fourth, the Nazis, true to socialist ideology, preyed on class envy to stoke tensions and resentment as they blamed the “Junker Class” (the equivalent of today’s “one percent”) for the nation’s economic woes.   The American left and the Democrat party hierarchy, true to socialist ideology, has long blamed the evil one percent or greedy billionaires for income and economic inequality in order to foment class envy and resentment.

But the similarity does not end there.  In an extraordinary juxtaposition the Nazis were able to vilify the wealthy and the industrialists while the subjects of their vitriol voluntarily financed the Nazi Party and its political campaigns.  Hitler assured the German corporate titans that, despite their rhetoric, the Nazis would leave them alone and award them lucrative contracts if they supported the Party through massive financial support and favorable newspaper coverage.  Greed overcame good sense, and they did so.   These gullible cowards were ultimately responsible for unleashing the Nazis on an unsuspecting planet.

The American left has established a similar rapport with the corporate establishment, in particular the tech titans, by tacitly letting them know that the Democrat party will leave them alone if they financially support the party.  Additionally, their disciples have infiltrated the management ranks of many companies further exacerbating the pressure to support the agenda.  In the inane belief that they will be left alone by the left and the Democrat party, the American corporate elites have financed the ascendancy of the radical left as the left learned their lesson well from the Nazis and the wealthy elites did not.   As virtually all the financial support for the Democrats to manipulate the 2020 election came from these naïve and credulous buffoons.  Thus, unleashing radical leftism, societal chaos and a senescent president on the United States.

Fifth, in the 1920’s and early 30’s the Nazi Party routinely relied on street riots, property damage and gratuitous violence utilizing their militant cadre, the Sturmabteilung (SA), to project power through intimidation while blaming the communists for the violence.  Every time a riot was met with little or no response from the established authorities, the more emboldened they became.  While the Nazis ostensibly came to power through the ballot box, their ability to terrorize the citizenry and national political leadership played a major role as they promised peace on the streets if elected or given leadership positions in government.

The American left revealed in the summer of 2020 that they too have the wherewithal and inclination to provoke street riots, property damage and gratuitous violence utilizing their militant cadre, Antifa and Black Lives Matter, to project power through intimidation while blaming white supremacy and police brutality for the violence.   In the presidential campaign of 2020, the Democrat party implicitly promised peace on the streets if elected and insinuated there would be renewed violence if not.

Sixth, in January 1933, Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany.  Within four weeks a mysterious fire broke out in the Reichstag (Congress) Building which they blamed on communist agitators and that this was the opening salvo in a violent coup.  Using this pretext, the Nazis were able to force through the Reichstag The Enabling Act of 1933 in March of the same year.   This law embedded the Nazis as the sole dominant political party and ensured that only the Nazis could win future elections, if any were held.  They were the first modern proponents of never letting a crisis, real or manufactured, to go to waste.

The left and the Democrat party seized upon the disturbances at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 to proclaim that it was an “armed insurrection” and the opening salvo in a violent coup attempt by white supremacists.  To further reinforce this false narrative, they theatrically brought in 20,000 National Guard troops and built fortifications around the Capitol building.  Further following in the footsteps of the Nazi Party, the Democrats almost immediately pushed to pass H.R. 1 (euphemistically entitled The For The People Act) which would overturn virtually all existing voter laws, embed the Democrats as the sole dominant political party and ensure that only the Democrats could win future elections.

This list of parallels between the Nazi Party and the American left cannot be ignored.  These wannabe autocrats, in a de facto admission, try to obfuscate their adoption of Nazi tactics by shamelessly claiming that it is the American right or conservatives that have embraced the Nazis.  Yet the right has not utilized or espoused any Nazi tactics in their quest for political office.

While it goes without saying that I am not insinuating that the American left and the Democrat Party has the objective of imposing worldwide dominance via a horrific world war or emulating the horrors of the Holocaust, it must be acknowledged that there are important commonalities.  The manner in which a small fringe far-left socialist party was able to rise to power and how the left in America is emulating it should frighten all Americans.

Teachers Don't Feel Safe Enough to Teach In-person... Except When It's a Convention Center Full of Unaccompanied Minors

By Beth Baumann| Townhall.com

Teachers throughout the country have refused to return to in-person instruction because of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. They have repeatedly moved the goalposts and their requirements for returning to the classroom. And while many schools in San Diego remain virtual, the San Diego Board of Education is sending teachers to conduct in-person instruction for unaccompanied minors.

The San Diego Convention Center is being used as a temporary holding facility for the record number of unaccompanied minors that are flocking to the United States. The convention center will house a maximum of 1,450 teenage girls, ages 13 to 17, the Los Angeles Times reported. The convention center is scheduled to remain a temporary housing facility until July 15, one of the Biden administration's strategies for dealing with the border crisis.

The unaccompanied minors will be flown and bussed in from other parts of the country. Roughly 350 will be flown in from the Donna, Texas facility while another 150 will be bussed from Tucson, Arizona. Authorities believe the facility will reach maximum capacity by late next week. As the unaccompanied minors are released (thanks to the Biden administration's lax catch-and-release policy), others will replace them at the convention center.

In addition to receiving in-person instruction – something that was "too dangerous" for American children – the unaccompanied minors will also receive three meals a day, flip phones to call their families, and one-on-one pro bono legal aid.

The craziest part of all of this is we have heard for a year that going to school is dangerous for both teachers, administrators, and kids alike. The CDC has repeatedly said it's safe for teachers to return to the classroom without vaccines, yet teachers' unions pushed back, saying they refused to abandon virtual learning until vaccines are made for every staff member.

Democrats repeatedly told us this was a funding issue, but it's not. San Diego County schools received millions. According to the San Diego-Union Tribune, San Diego Unified School District received $240 million from the CARES Act and another $342.6 million from the American Rescue Plan. That's one district. Districts across the country are receiving significant flows of cash for "COVID-related expenses" (whatever they determine that should mean).

The fact that teachers are willing to be around roughly 1,200 unaccompanied minors who have been exposed to thousands of people, but they don't want to go back to the actual classroom tells you all you need to know. This was never about America's youth. This was about teachers wanting to stay home and work remotely. They got comfortable teaching from home and they want it to stay that way. If they were truly worried about their health and the health of those around them, they would refuse to be around thousands of people who have traveled through multiple countries, taken multiple avenues of transportation, and housed in unsanitary conditions.

If teachers can handle being in a COVID breeding ground, then they can handle being back in the classroom, where it's proven there is very little transmission.

The real minimum wage is zero

By William Haupt III | The Center Square contributor

Greg Bishop | Watchdog.org

“It is fascinating to see brilliant people belatedly discover the obvious – and to see an even larger number of brilliant people never discover the obvious about the minimum wage.”

– Thomas Sowell

Until 1938, the U.S. Supreme Court sided with business over labor citing it was an unconstitutional delegation of government authority to dictate to industry what to pay workers. The Court continually ruled there was no Constitutional basis for a guaranteed income. In the 1800s during the Industrial Revolution, the Court heard numerous cases as new industries developed but they failed to rule in favor of labor. Their opinion was employers would reward the good workers with increased wages.

Until the Great Depression, the Court ruled that states were responsible for wages and labor under the 10th Amendment. But that would change dramatically under Franklin Roosevelt. From the day he took office, he backed legalization to control industry and empower workers and unions. But it was not until 1938 when he was asked to address child labor conditions in the Depression work place that he had an opportunity to fulfill his New Deal promise to establish a federal minimum wage.

After losing his battle to “pack the court,” FDR lost support from his party, and needed a signature bill. Opportunity knocked when U.S. Sen. Hugo Black proposed legislation to protect child labor and provide a federal minimum wage. And in 1938, Congress passed The Fair Labor Standards Act. It created a federal minimum wage, a 40 hour work week and established child labor protections.

“Democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power.”

– Franklin Roosevelt

When Congress passed the Fair Labor Standards Act, it represented a major shift in labor policy. For the first time, the federal government was able to dictate to private industry how much they had to pay a person for any job regardless of skills or education requirements. It has haunted us since.

The major objection to the FLSA was each state should control its own minimum wage laws. The federal minimum wage has been $7.25 since 2009. Although the minimum wage is a contentious partisan issue in Congress, states have done this on their own. The federal government does not control state commerce or labor requirements and should not control the minimum wage.

“The 10th Amendment is not a 'general assumption' but rather a rule of law for the states.”

– Barry Goldwater

Recent data from The Bureau of Labor Statistics reveals that in seven states, the minimum wage rises based on a cost-of-living index. In another nine states and Washington D.C., the minimum rate rises on a multiyear schedule. Another eight states increase the rate yearly until it reaches a certain plateau and the legislature reviews inflation and cost of living data and they put out a new formula.

It has been over eight decades since the FLSA passed and there is no proof that increases in the minimum wage improves anyone’s standard of living. British magazine “The Economist” lists three countries – Spain, Greece and South Africa – that continually have the highest rate of unemployment regardless of global economics. They have the most generous minimum wage laws in the world.

Over 60% of minimum wage workers in Africa are jobless, according to the World Bank. In North Africa, the youth unemployment rate is 25% and it is even greater in Botswana, the Republic of the Congo, Senegal, and other parts of Africa. With 200 million people between 15 and 24, Africa has the largest population of young people in the world, and the highest per capita unemployment rate.

In contrast, Switzerland has no minimum wage and low unemployment. The World Bank credits the overall health of the Swiss economy to its incentive-driven labor policies that drive productivity. It is also not part of the EU, which allows them to formulate independent lucrative trade deals and control their own immigration policies. The result is an unemployment rate averaging less than 3%.

“How can the Swiss stay in business when their watches last for a lifetime?”

– Johnny Carson

Biden pledged to double the minimum wage to $15. While the CBO said this would have a negative impact on employment and hurt our recovery, Biden disagreed: “There’s no evidence when you raise the minimum wage, businesses close. They only cut hours and adjust payrolls.”

In 2019, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated a $15 minimum wage would eliminate at least 1.3 million jobs. The CBO concluded that an increase this large would reduce business income, raise consumer prices, and it could cause major damage to a weak economy.

The U.S. economy was fragile when Biden took office and the CBO told him not to anticipate much improvement throughout 2021. Our nation needs more business income, not less. We need more jobs, not more unemployment. We do not need anything to slow our economic growth; we need to stimulate growth. Only the Chinese will profit if Biden’s minimum wage stratagem becomes law.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, half of all workers in 20 states earned $18 per hour or less in 2019. In 35 states, the median hourly wage was less than $20. Biden’s desire to raise the minimum wage to mirror the median wage would price many workers out of the market and force businesses to shut down. This massive unemployment would over-tax our social service network.

“When dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic.”

– Dale Carnegie

University of Washington economist Jacob Vigdor studied the effects of Seattle’s increase in its minimum wage to $13 in 2016, on its way to $15. It led to a 9% reduction in low-wage jobs. The pay increase didn’t make up for the reduction in employment, and earnings fell for low-wage workers overall. Vigdor also found that any financial gains were offset with cuts in hours worked.

During one of the presidential debates when Donald Trump accused Biden of bowing down to the socialists, Biden responded, “Trump thinks he's running against someone else. Well he's running against Joe Biden. I beat those other guys because I disagreed with them.” Yet a $15 an hour minimum wage is one of the many progressive and socialist policies that Biden now supports?

Thomas Sowell wrote, “Any liberal will tell you government can fix everything.” Federal mandating of higher hourly pay rates places the burden of fighting poverty on the employers of the low-wage workers and the customers of low-wage businesses. It deprives the most vulnerable, least-skilled and least-experienced workers of an opportunity to earn their way into better paying career jobs.

If people demand a minimum wage, then the states must establish it, not the federal government. The central government does not control local labor markets, the states do. Those who think Joe Biden can give them a raise with the stroke of his pen will end up unemployed.

“The fact that so many successful politicians are such shameless liars is not only a reflection on them, it is also a reflection on us. When the people want the impossible, only liars can satisfy.”

– Thomas Sowell

Wokeism: A Religion without Redemption

By Rob Jenkins | Townhall.com

Many have observed that “wokeness” functions much like a religion, with its own infallible doctrine (supposedly science, but in actuality mostly social science, which is to say not science); its own clergy (social scientists, woke scientists, and celebrities); its own sacraments (abortion, “gender reassignment” surgery); its own list of cardinal sins (“racism,” “whiteness,” science “denialism”); even its own religious vestments (these days, cheap cloth masks).

However, there is one thing virtually every major religion offers that wokeism does not: the possibility of redemption.

Judaism has Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, when adherents repent of the wrongs they have done and seek forgiveness from God and others. In Islam, the concept of Tawba also requires the faithful to repent and offer restitution to any they have harmed. And Christians, of course, rely for forgiveness on the Atonement of Jesus Christ, as we forsake our sins and forgive those who have sinned against us.

What all three have in common is, first, the idea of a loving, forgiving God, and second, the recognition that we human beings are imperfect and therefore in constant need of forgiveness, from God as well as from our fellow beings (to whom we also owe forgiveness). The “religion” of wokeism offers no such comfort. Once you have violated one of its many and rapidly evolving tenets, not only will you never, ever be forgiven, but you must be cast out.

Recent examples abound. Consider Rachael Kirkconner, “winner” of the most recent season of “The Bachelor,” who has been effectively canceled for “racism” after photos surfaced of her attending an antebellum-themed party in college. Her tearful apologies availed her nothing. Even The Bachelor himself, Matt James, with whom she had supposedly fallen in love—and he with her—rejected poor Rachael, boo-hooing most unmanfully that she had “hurt” him by doing something completely harmless that affected him not at all years before she even knew he existed. No matter. Her sin against wokeness was just that vile, despite the fact she could not even have known it was a sin three years ago, nor could anyone else.

Then there’s Chris Harrison, the silly show’s former host, who had both the temerity and the incredibly poor judgment to defend Rachael from what he described, accurately, as the “woke mob.” He was first suspended, then fired. After several subsequent groveling sessions on various talk shows, in which his apologies became increasingly more abject, his self-flagellation progressively more vigorous, he has yet to be forgiven. Nor will he be. His name has been effectively blotted out, except perhaps as a footnote: “Watch what you say, or this will happen to you, too.”

Of course, no one can be that careful about what they say, especially when there’s no way of knowing in advance what you won’t be allowed to say (or do) six months from now. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Then there’s Sharon Osbourne, now-former host of “The Talk,” who is the former host because she defended her friend Piers Morgan when he too was fired from his television gig after criticizing Meghan Markle for attacking the Royal Family. (Whew. Re-reading that last sentence gives me a headache).

Apparently, the only possible reason for anyone to criticize the whiny, vapid ingrate Ms. Markle is because she’s Black. (Wait. She’s Black?) So that makes Morgan a racist and by extension makes Osbourne a racist for defending him. Got that? Hence, both must be canceled. And so they were, even after issuing suitably contrite apologies. (In Osbourne’s case, anyway. I don’t think Morgan has apologized, for which I give him props). But no degree of contrition will ever suffice. No forgiveness on this crazy train for you, Sharon.

In the Church of Woke, even Black people can be anti-Black racists, thus sinners, as former Fox News commentator Stacey Dash has learned to her sorrow. Poor Stacey has also been making the apology tour, confessing her original sin of once having conservative (read: racist) thoughts. The jury is still out as to whether she will be pardoned and readmitted into polite society. But since this particular jury seems to issue only the death-of-reputation penalty, Ms. Dash’s chances don’t look good.

The moral of these stories is clear: You can never be woke enough. Conformity with right-think is and always will be a moving target. What was acceptable to do, say or believe a few years ago—heck, a few weeks ago—can get you canceled today, with no hope of forgiveness in this life or the next. So why would anyone even try? Who can live like that?

The beauty of being a Christian (and incidentally a conservative) is that you don’t have to. You just have to do your best to observe the two Great Commandments—love God and love your neighbor as yourself—with the knowledge that, when you screw up, as you will, God will forgive you. So will your fellow Christians, for it is incumbent upon them to do so. Not only that, but they will help, uplift, and support you as you strive to become a better person. Because that’s what all of us, sinners that we are, are trying to do. And not one of us has yet reached perfection.

If you’re a young (or not-so-young) person searching for meaning in life, I can certainly understand that. But given human nature, meaning is inextricably linked to redemption, without which there can only be despair. Since you will never find redemption in wokeism, you will never find meaning there, either.

“A SICKENING SPECTACLE”

 BY SCOTT JOHNSON | POWERLINE

The leading feature of the spectacle was Biden’s infirmity. Flagging Goodwin’s column the cover of the New York Post duly noted it.

There was a whole lotta lyin’ (and cheatin’) goin’ on at the lectern when President Biden turned up for his first press conference yesterday. Michael Goodwin takes up the lyin’ in his New York Post column. His friends among the media made sure that they kept the degree of difficulty low. Biden was among friends. Michael Goodwin takes up these leading features of Biden’s performance in his New York Post column this morning. Goodwin bluntly calls it “a sickening spectacle.”

The historian and journalist Dominic Green concisely captured this aspect of the spectacle in Spectator column — whole thing here — at 4:06 p.m. (Eastern) yesterday afternoon: “The White House is no longer the home of democracy. It’s a reality TV series in a care home.”

And yet the infirm gentleman at the lectern required special assistance. The assistance came in the form of handy cheat sheets published in 14-point type labeled The President, just in case he forgot who he is or failed to summon his talking points from the vastly deep on his own power.

You can see the cheat sheets in the Daily Mail and in the New York Post.

The Daily Mail includes helpful headshots of Biden’s friends in attendance, again just in case.

RedState’s Nick Arama offers more of both the cheat sheets and the headshots via Twitter.

The substance of Biden’s remarks was, if anything, worse than his apparent infirmity. Goodwin takes up this point as well. “A sickening spectacle” concisely captures it.

UPDATE: In his daily Examiner column, Byron York calls it “An embarrassing day for the White House press corps.” It was certainly that and more.

Biden lies, and the media doesn’t question it: Goodwin

By Michael Goodwin | NY Post

Evan Vucci/AP

Three big things stood out in President Biden’s first press conference.

1. The leader of the free world is often lost at sea and says many things that are blatantly false.

2. The media is in the tank and cannot be trusted to hold him accountable.

3. Because of Nos. 1 and 2, America is headed for serious trouble.

For this sickening spectacle we had to wait 64 days?

Still, the event was meaningful in one distressing way. Now we know beyond all doubt there is no way to deny the terrifying truth.

This was Biden’s coming out party, and the nation faces a mess that will only grow worse with time. The man who campaigned on unity is hell-bent on permanent polarization, meaning cancel culture and the supercharged racial climate are here to stay.

Biden gave license to the worst instincts on the left with his repeated sneering references to all Republicans and especially Donald Trump. At one point, he actually accused Trump of letting immigrant children “starve to death on the other side” of the Mexican border.

He said it in a room full of 30 supposed journalists and not a single one challenged him or even asked whether he meant it literally. In fact, not a single one challenged him on any of his falsehoods.

Nor did anyone ask him why he read from prepared talking points during answers to three questions on foreign policy. No recent president has felt the need to do that.

There also were moments when he talked himself into dead ends, yet there were no questions about when he would release the health reports he’s been hiding.

Regarding his agenda, a report that Biden sees himself as the new FDR gives credence to the idea that he’s all in for every big, crazy idea left-wing Dems can cook up.

The Green New Deal, open borders, removing voting safeguards, endless tax hikes, statehood for DC — they’re all on track and bound for glory. The only obstacle is the Senate filibuster, which requires 60 votes to pass legislation, but Biden left no doubt he would be willing to do away with it.

“I want to get things done,” he said.

Each piece of his party’s planned utopia is unprecedentedly radical in its own way, but not nearly radical enough for the media. Their performance was pathetic not just in what questions they asked and didn’t ask, but how they asked them. The dominant theme was that Biden and his team are not moving fast enough to turn America upside down and inside out.

Why don’t you, when will you, why haven’t you? Over and over, the aim was not to ask a question but to speed up an agenda.

Naturally, this was the complete opposite of the way some of the same people behaved during the Trump presidency. Then the questions were outraged expressions that aimed at stopping the administration. Now they are pleas aimed at pushing this one forward faster.

As such, the 10 people Biden called on generally followed the script laid out in the Washington Post and elsewhere. Columnist Margaret Sullivan had warned reporters not to try to “show how tough” they were being on Biden to please “Trump allies.” She even downplayed the border crisis, suggesting it was getting too much attention.

It got the most attention Thursday, but only in ways that reinforced the idea that it is the milk of human compassion to invite Central Americans to make the long trek north. Violence is rampant and coyotes, human traffickers and the cartels are making a mint, but not a peep about that from the president or his media helpers.

Nor was there any hint that perhaps stricter enforcement was compassionate to Americans in border towns and taxpayers everywhere. Instead, the underlying assumption seemed to be that any suffering experienced by migrants once they got to the border was proof of heartlessness and had to be remedied as quickly as possible.

As for the pandemic, apparently it’s no longer a problem. Pictures showing migrants crowded together in cages and reports that many are released despite testing positive for COVID never came up. No sense spoiling the good vibes.

The facts of illegal immigration are fairly simple. Trump campaigned on the issue and after false starts and despite unified Democratic opposition, eventually stitched together a series of policies and actions that stemmed the tide. He built large sections of wall, deported criminal aliens and struck an agreement with Mexico that those making asylum claims would have to wait in Mexico.

It is also a fact that Biden blew up each of those pillars, yet now claims he inherited a mess. Strangely, he also insisted that the numbers surging now “happens every single, solitary year. Nothing has changed.”

He’s either misinformed or lying. Record numbers of arrivals are being reported daily, and NBC recently called the crossings the highest in 20 years.

Again, Biden was not challenged.

The final proof that the press has abdicated its role was clinched when the president refused to say when he would allow more media access to the border detention facilities. He said it would have to wait until his team got its new programs working.

If Trump had said that, the sky would have fallen and democracy would be declared dead. But when Biden says it, the media rolls over.

So add transparency to the list of things that don’t matter anymore.

Boulder Shooter Revealed to Be Muslim; Woke Liberals Most Hardest Hit as 'White Supremacist' Narrative Is Destroyed

BY MATT MARGOLIS | P J Media

AP Photo/David Zalubowski

In the wake of the Monday night shooting at a grocery store in Colorado, the woke left immediately took to social media to proclaim the shooter as a “white man” and no doubt a “white supremacist.”

Had they just waited to for the facts to come out, they would have learned that the shooting did not fit their preferred narrative, as the shooter has been identified as 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a Muslim.

Now, so many have egg on their faces.

The left’s narrative that the shooting was committed by a white man because of “white supremacy” was destroyed the moment the shooter was identified. Without a compelling anti-white narrative, one can’t help but wonder how much use the left will have for this story… except, of course, for the usual calls for gun control.

Perhaps the worst thing about this is the way these woke liberals saw a tragedy and immediately felt the need to craft a politically convenient narrative. Real lives were lost, and they couldn’t even stop hating on white people by default.

The man who murdered ten people in a Boulder, Colorado supermarket Monday has been identified as a Muslim migrant ISIS sympathizer named Ahmad Al Issa (which is how he himself wrote his name on his Facebook and Twitter accounts, not “Alissa” as the establishment media has been spelling it). This identification immediately destroyed the narrative that leftist “journalists” ran with all of Monday evening and Tuesday morning, that the shooter was one of those “right-wing extremists” – you know, those people who are, according to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the “most lethal and persistent” threat the U.S. faces today. Ironically, while Al Issa is clearly not the “white supremacist” of leftist fantasy, he is just as plainly a product of the leftist subculture that is so prevalent in America today.

On his Facebook and Twitter accounts, which have both been taken down, Al Issa demonstrated beyond the shadow of any doubt that he is a convinced, committed leftist. On September 18, 2018, he wrote on his Facebook page above a photo of Donald Trump (in all the quotes from Al Issa’s social media, the spelling and grammar are as in the original): “He inherited a growing economy and the unemployment rate was low the economy was on an upward spiral he won because of racism.” That same day, he wrote over a link to a Washington Post story excoriating Trump for his supposed mistreatment of refugees: “Trumps such a d**k.”

On March 16, 2019, after the mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand, he suggested that the shootings took place because of society-wide “Islamophobia”: “The Muslims at the #christchurch mosque were not the victims of a single shooter. They were the victims of the entire Islamophobia industry that vilified them.”

All this makes it abundantly clear that not only is Ahmad Al Issa not a “white supremacist,” but he is a living manifestation of the effects of Leftism in America today. After migrating from Syria as a child during the Obama administration, he, and many others like him, has been inundated with relentless propaganda about how he is a victim of a racist and “Islamophobic” society that will never give him a fair shake, and is institutionally determined to make sure he will never succeed. He has been told that Trump hated Muslims and that his followers were precisely the people who were keeping him down and denying him access to the privilege that they themselves enjoyed at the expense of the “brown” people they despised.

The Democratic Party has been stoking this kind of resentment and feeding it to young people in schools, colleges, and universities for years. Ahmad Al Issa is a product of their indoctrination. That in itself may be one reason why Leftist “journalists” and professional agitators such as Tariq Nasheed (who kept insisting that Al Issa was white, i.e., as  “privileged” as any white American supposedly is, even after his identity was revealed; this will come as news to Al Issa’s fellow white Arab, the noted “person of color” Linda Sarsour) are so intent on driving home the point that this was a “white” shooter acting out of the hatred that is intrinsic to American culture: to deflect attention away from the fact that he is not a product of American culture at all, but of the Left’s subculture of hatred and resentment.

If we had a sane political environment in the country today, that is the hateful subculture the Justice Department would be concerned about. Instead, even as Antifa continues to make the Great Northwest into a radioactive wasteland of violence, lawlessness, and filth, the leftist subculture isn’t even on the radar screen. And Ahmad Al Issa isn’t going to put it there. If Old Joe (who of course seized the opportunity to call again for the disarming of the American people) and his handlers, as well as America’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies, really wanted to make sure there aren’t any more attacks of this kind, they would investigate where Al Issa went to school, what he learned there, what was and is taught at his mosque (he was a devout Muslim), and the like. But that is just a trifle less likely than Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer apologizing for poisoning the American public discourse over the last few years and moving to demonize, marginalize, and silence their legitimate opposition. If one thing is certain in Biden’s handlers’ America, it is that there will be many, many more Ahmad Al Issas.

Did You Read CNN's Chyrons During Don Lemon's Self-Righteous Lecture Over Boulder Shooting Last Night?

Well, this was going to be an inevitable happening in the liberal news media. The self-righteous lectures from so-called journalists about gun violence in America. Yes, there was another tragic mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado. Ten people were killed. Yet, the Left couldn’t wait to throw out the ‘angry white man’ narrative before the bodies of the victims were even cold. The problem is that it wasn’t a white guy who committed the crime. It was 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa. A lot of people ate it hard, but we have the screenshots. This is the difference between the rest of us and liberals. We don’t peddle fake news and conspiracy theories to make us feel good or fan the flames of woke narratives.

The Biden White House is pushing gun control. Expect a full-court press on this, but we have to talk about CNN’s Don Lemon for a second. He appears to have gone on another one of his lectures where he, as Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck notes, shows that his network simply cannot stand anyone who doesn’t think as they do. The chyrons were out of control too.

“Too many on the Right flaunt their devotion to the weapons taking American lives” read one of them.

For a while, we’ve known that the liberal media hates us. CNN is the worst offender. Law-abiding citizens don’t commit mass shootings. And yes, the AR-15 rifle and its variants are being targeted again by the anti-gun Left, though it’s owned by millions of Americans. It goes without saying that any loss of life is tragic, but when the case is made to erode civil rights in favor of safety, the road to tyranny is set in motion. I know many probably think we’re already on that road. This is a strawman lecture. Period. We’ve been through this before. The media will rattle off the same fake emotional lectures to help drum up the Democrats’ anti-gun push on the Hill. We know they hate us. We know they want to shred the Second Amendment. This has all been said and done before. I’d suggest ignoring CNN and whatever nonsense they toss out. Liberal America already got its face broken when they chucked the ‘he’s a white guy’ boomerang when this shooting was first reported. They lie. They have ulterior motives.

They can’t win, so they lash out and expose their true colors. Luckily, there are more of us than them in this country.

Be ashamed to exercise the constitutional right to bear arms. It’s nonsense. These clowns are the ones who get to decide which parts of the Bill of Rights are honorable. Go to hell.

Biden Offers Hotel Rooms for Illegals, but Let the National Guard Sleep in a Parking Garage

 BY MATT MARGOLIS | P J Media

Over the weekend it was reported that the Biden administration will be spending $86 million in hotel rooms to house illegal immigrants as it struggles to get a handle on the immigration at the border. How do they justify spending our tax dollars to house illegals in hotel rooms when there are homeless veterans and U.S. citizens who could benefit from these resources?

These illegal immigrants will also get free food, medical care, and COVID tests, paid for by the hard-working taxpayers of the United States.

So, how exactly does the Biden administration justify prioritizing the housing, feeding, and health care of illegal immigrants over any American citizen?

Emerald Robinson of Newsmax was wondering the same thing and asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki to explain why National Guard troops were forced to sleep in parking garages at the Capitol while illegal immigrants got hotel rooms.

Psaki’s response was disgraceful.

After referencing the report that $86 million in taxpayer dollars was being spent to pay for hotel rooms and food for illegal immigrants because Biden’s cages (my words) were over capacity, Robinson asked Psaki, “How do you share that with the National Guard troops who were sleeping in parking garages and, you know, some of them got sick from having contaminated food. That’s a disparity that a lot of people are pointing out — that our National Guard was treated one way and then illegal immigrants are going to be put in hotel rooms.”

Psaki ignored the report about the $86 million to cover hotel rooms for illegals and proceeded with a word salad trying to explain Joe Biden’s response to the situation with the National Guard.

“At the time when we became aware of the conditions the National Guard troops were in, in parking garages as you noted, the president called the head of the National Guard that day and offered his assistance, offered to play any role that he could play,” Psaki said. “I know that was some time ago, but that was the reaction he took at the time.”

Psaki then went on to another question.

After Biden’s inauguration, roughly 5,000 National Guardsmen were forced to sleep in a parking garage overnight after being kicked out of the Capitol.

In response to the disgraceful treatment, the Biden administration sent Jill Biden with cookies. President Trump, however, outraged by how the Biden administration treated our troops, offered National Guardsmen still stationed at the Capitol lodging at his hotel in Washington, D.C.

And that’s a key difference between Trump and Biden.
