Peaceful protesters breached the Capitol on the
House and Senate side.
Patriots upset about the massive 2020 election voter fraud walked
through four layers of security fencing and occupied the building, overrunning
the Capitol Police.
“Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement,”
Trump tweeted, as tear gas was deployed in the locked-down Capitol. “They are
truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”
Tear gas was dispersed in the Capitol Rotunda.
Law enforcement instructed lawmakers to retrieve masks from
under their seats amid the clashes.
A woman was shot in the chest and is described as being
in critical condition. There is no word yet if she was a protester or a Capitol
employee.
Another protestor got into the Senate and took the
presiding officer’s chair where Vice President Mike Pence who was evacuated had sat. One
protestor entered House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office and sat in her chair.
All members of Congress were evaluated and the House and
Senate are now in recess.
