Low-hanging fruit. When enemies of our country look to
infiltrate and/or compromise someone to their side, that’s exactly what they
reach for. No point in going to the top -- the likelihood of getting to them,
let alone turning them, is minimal. But the easy targets, the ambitious or
troubled, far enough away from the goal so as to not be noticed, but possibly
on their way, are ripe for the pickings. Those wishing this country ill
need only an opportunity. With the same goals, only different tactics, the
Chinese Communists went fishing for and caught Eric Swalwell and Hunter Biden.
Honestly, is anyone surprised that the Communist Chinese
would seek and find welcoming arms in the Democratic Party? Infiltrating the
Republican Party would require the ability to pass off as someone who loves the
country. Even the best of actors can’t stay in character forever. A better
approach to gain access to a nation’s secrets is to find kindred spirits in the
most like-minded political movement you can. In the case of the Chinese
Communist Party, Democrats were the obvious and easy choice.
Not only are CCP agents unburdened by the need to pretend
to like the country, but any vitriol they naturally displayed would also
pale in comparison to the homegrown variety of their fellow travelers.
To get to a position of usefulness, the CCP knew the DNC
was their path. But no path to information leads directly to the top, so
they wisely cultivated people on the periphery who might, one day, find
themselves in a useful place.
With Swalwell, then a dimwitted ambitious
nobody city council member in California, the play was easy – the
honey trap. He’s clearly in love with himself, so an attractive young
college student becoming enamored with him was perfectly normal to him. “Get in
line,” he likely thought.
What’s weird about Swalwell’s case is the
thought never occurred to him, as he rose to national office, how
it was that a college-aged woman who’s been in the country only a short time, a
Chinese national, could have the contacts to fundraise for his Congressional
campaign. Even if she claimed she “knew” a couple of people before coming to
the United States, it seems odd she’d be able to bundle money or become a
player in the cash game.
The CCP knew what they were doing, having their spy Fang
Fang join multiple identity politics groups based on her ethnicity. That’s who
the Democrats are, and they never questioned any of her moves because of it. Swalwell
was one of the likely dozens of Democrats who fell for the act because of race
and being bedded. He also happened to be the lowest of the low hanging fruit.
With Hunter Biden, having grown up the son of
a Senator and a lifetime of capitalizing on that fact, the honeypot gambit
wouldn’t work. A history of drug abuse and, considering he
left his wife for his brother’s widow and cheated on her, likely means he’s
been bedding other women with regularity his whole life. His actions imply each
was meaningless; something he was entitled to. Whereas Swalwell probably spent
most of his life’s nighttimes alone to that point, Hunter hadn’t. A different
tactic was needed to reach the same objective.
Money makes the Biden world go ‘round.
Interested parties couldn’t bribe Joe Biden directly, too
risky. Hunter served as his proxy. From Amtrak to the bank MBNA, Hunter
had jobs for which he was unqualified thrown at him, for salaries greater than
mere mortals could obtain while asking for nothing in return.
Not content with barely-show jobs and a nice living,
Hunter set out to cash in even more, especially overseas where the prying eyes
of the already disinterested American media weren’t likely to accidentally
stumble across anything criminal. Ukraine, Russia, and China were fertile
ground.
Getting more than a billion dollars to
“invest” from the Chinese government sounds like a lot of money, and it is to
individuals, as are the millions in “commissions” Hunter made.
But it’s a drop in the bucket compared to China’s economy. The world knew Joe
Biden was likely to run for president again one day, letting his son play
with a billion and a half dollars to curry favor with the “big guy” on the off
chance he did was a tiny risk to take.
People are always amazed when they hear a story of
lobbyists being paid $25,000-$50,000 or more per month because that’s a lot of
money. But if you could spend $10 million to get a government contract worth $10
billion, who wouldn’t? If China had to spend the commissions on $1.5
billion, or even lose the whole investment, to gain access to and influence
over the son of the president of the United States, how much is that worth?
The world’s largest economy and the world’s second means there are trillions of
dollars at stake, in addition to the national security implications.
Given Hunter’s degenerate history and personal problems,
dangling a few bucks in his face was the easy play. And it appears to have paid
off. Even with the current probe of Hunter’s potentially criminal activity, the
CCP likely has more information on him, information that might be able to put
him away for life, information regarding their dealings that our government
simply can’t access. That’s a lot of leverage.
It’s easy to rent influence over people in politics and
just about any campaign donor can get their concerns addressed to one degree or
another. But most people have basic needs and tend to want the government to
get out of their way or to score valuable contracts. The CCP wants more, much
more. And they’ve found a welcoming home in their like-minded brethren in the
Democratic Party.
Eric Swalwell and Hunter Biden served different purposes
and required different tactics, but both serve the same ultimate goal. These
low-hanging fruits are the ones we know about. Given how easily they were
picked, it makes you wonder how many others are out there…

Hunter Biden under federal investigation over
taxes
By Jeff Mordock | The Washington Times

Hunter Biden,
the son of presumed President-elect Joseph R. Biden,
said Wednesday that the U.S. attorney in Delaware is investigating his taxes.
In a statement released by his father’s transition team,
the younger Mr. Biden said
federal prosecutors in Delaware have contacted his attorney, but did not offer
any more details.
“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident
that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that
I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of
professional tax advisors,” the statement read.
In a separate statement, the Biden-Harris transition team
offered support and cast him as a victim, but did not attack this specific case
as illegitimate.
“President-elect Biden is
deeply proud of his son, who has fought through difficult challenges, including
vicious personal attacks of recent months, only to emerge stronger,” they said.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney in Delaware declined
to comment.
Federal tax investigations usually include the IRS
Criminal Division and the FBI, although it is not known whether either are
involved in the Biden probe.
Neither agency responded to requests for comment.
The investigation began in 2018, before Attorney General
William P. Barr took over the Justice Department, according to CNN.
That same report said the probe concerns the younger
Mr. Biden’s
foreign dealings, principally in China, and related counter-intelligence
worries.
Although it is not
officially known why he is under investigation, his business dealings have
raised questions from Republicans.
Allegations of money laundering, shady business dealings
in China and other countries, as well as other financial improprieties by Hunter Biden constantly
dogged his father’s campaign.
Yet none of the accusations or shady dealings have
resulted in criminal charges or, until now, have been officially known to have
resulted in an investigation.
Rep. Ken Buck, Colorado Republican, earlier this week
asked Attorney General William P. Barr to appoint a special counsel to investigate
Mr. Biden’s
role on the board of a Ukrainian energy company, despite having no experience
in the field, when his father was vice president and handling U.S. relations
with Ukraine.
Mr. Buck said the FBI is in possession of emails on a
hard drive that are “potentially incriminating.”
That hard drive exists on a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden,
which was brought to the news media by President Trump’s personal attorney,
Rudolph W. Giuliani.
FBI agents took possession of the laptop in 2019,
according to a computer repair technician in Delaware who has a copy of the
subpoena.
Despite the attention created by the laptop, it is
unclear whether its contents are part of the investigation by Delaware
prosecutors.
In October, Sinclair Broadcasting reported that the FBI
had opened a criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.
At the time, the Biden campaign
ignored the report.
Two Senate Republicans last month released a report
showing that Hunter
Biden had close financial ties to a Chinese tycoon linked to that
country’s ruling Communist Party.
Finance Committee Chairman Charles Grassley of Iowa and
Homeland Security and Government Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson said the ties “create
counterintelligence and extortion concerns,” as the elder Mr. Biden becomes
president next month.
The report, based on newly uncovered documents, shows
suspicious wire transfers from Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs to Mr. Biden in
2014, while his father was vice president. Documents turned over by a former
business associate Tony Bobulinksi were also part of the part.
News of the investigation creates a challenge for the
incoming Biden Justice Department. It raises potential conflict of interest
questions as federal prosecutors continue to probe the case.
Michael Ahrens, communications director for the
Republican National Committee, noted that David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for
Delaware, was recommended for the position by the state’s two Democratic
senators.
“It’s going to be hard to attack this Hunter Biden investigation
as partisan when it’s being run by a U.S. Attorney who was highly recommended
by Delaware’s two Dem senators and later confirmed by voice vote,” he wrote on
Twitter.
Delaware Sens. Tom Carper and Chris Coons, both
Democrats, praised Mr. Weiss after his nomination. Mr. Carper called him an
“excellent choice for U.S. Attorney” while Mr. Coons praised him as an
“excellent nominee.”
The elder Mr. Biden said
this week his son’s business dealings won’t create a conflict of interest.
“My son [and] my family will not be involved in any
business, any enterprise that is in conflict with or appears to be a conflict
whether the appropriate distance from the presidency and government,” Mr. Biden said
in an interview with CNN.

Biden subpoena seeks info on Burisma, other entities
By The Associated Press
WASHINGTON (December 12, 2020) — A subpoena seeking documents from Hunter Biden asked for information related to more than two dozen entities, including Ukraine gas company Burisma, according to a person familiar with a Justice Department tax investigation of Joe Biden’s son.
The breadth of the subpoena, issued Tuesday, underscores
the wide-angle lens prosecutors are taking as they examine the younger Biden’s
finances and international business ventures.
It’s unclear whether Hunter Biden’s work at the Ukrainian
company is a central part of the federal investigation or whether prosecutors
are simply seeking information about all his sources of income in recent years.
The person was not authorized to discuss an ongoing
investigation publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of
anonymity.
A lawyer for the younger Biden, George Mesires, did not
immediately return a phone message seeking comment for this story and a spokesman
for the Biden transition team declined to comment.
Hunter Biden confirmed Wednesday that his taxes are under
federal investigation.
In addition to the Burisma-related request, the subpoena
issued last week also seeks information on Hunter Biden’s Chinese business
dealings and other financial transactions.
The probe was launched in 2018, the year before his
father announced his candidacy for president. At one point in the
investigation, federal prosecutors were also examining potential money laundering
offenses, two people familiar with the matter told the AP.
Hunter Biden said he only learned of the investigation on
Tuesday.
The younger Biden joined the board of Burisma in 2014,
around the time his father, then vice president, was helping conduct the Obama
administration’s foreign policy with Ukraine. President Donald Trump and his
allies have long argued that Hunter Biden’s work in Ukraine influenced the
Obama administration’s policies toward the Eastern European nation.
For months, the U.S. attorney’s office in Pittsburgh has
also been collecting information from Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and
others as part of the Justice Department’s process to receive and analyze
information related to Ukraine, including documents Giuliani wanted to present to
prosecutors that he had been gathering in Ukraine about Joe and Hunter Biden.

Media Does Damage Control on Their Refusal to
Cover Hunter Biden Before the Election
By Katie Pavlich | Townhall.Com
Yesterday the Department of Justice officially revealed
Hunter Biden is under investigation.
In October, it became clear Biden may have been involved
in money laundering and illegal foreign dealings with hostile governments,
including China. It's all on his laptop, which he failed to pickup from a local
repair shop in Delaware. The owner of the shop turned it over to the FBI after
becoming concerned it could contain information about crimes.
Despite a computer hard drive, emails, texts, photos and
a lack of denial from the Biden family, so-called newsrooms across the country
ignored it and called it a "non-story."
In fact, Twitter aggressively censored a damning New York Post story about the details of
Biden's laptop and dismantled accounts of individuals who dared to share it.
The New York Post Twitter page was blocked for weeks as Twitter executives
demanded the story be taken down. The New York Post, America's oldest
newspaper, refused to do so and the details of their story were true. Twitter
CEO Jack Dorsey admitted during recent testimony on Capitol Hill that he has no
proof the story isn't legitimate.
In fact, former Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski
came out publicly to explain how Biden, and his father Joe Biden, operated. He
also revealed he was working with the FBI and a number of Senators on Capitol
Hill.
"I'm making this statement to set the record
straight about the involvement of the Biden family. Vice President Biden, his
brother Jim Biden and his son Hunter Biden in dealings with the Chinese. I've
heard Joe Biden say that he's never discussed business with Hunter. That is
false. I have first-hand knowledge of this because I directly dealt with the
Biden family, including Joe Biden," Bobulinksi said on October 22, 2020,
adding he was warned about coming forward. "The evidence sits on these
three phones. I don't want to go into anything further. This will be discussed
with Senator Johnson and his committee and the American people can decide
what's fact."
Now, news outlets who deliberately refused to touch the
story before the 2020 presidential election in order to protect Joe Biden, are
finding new excuses for their dereliction of duty.
"Went largely unnoticed" is code for: Ignored
and purposely censored. The evidence has been everywhere for months, even
years.
