The Republican National Convention seemed very uplifting and unified.
The DNC, on the other hand, seems like a cringey, discordant mess. Joe Biden's speech and how he was shunted out of primetime lent to that sense of chaos. Some speakers just went on and on, and the officials appeared to schedule too many things for the evening, so they had to cut out some people like musician James Taylor. But some thought that the plan may have been to bury Biden's speech late in the evening, so people couldn't see it.
I don't think that exactly worked as an idea since now that's the story out of the first day that everyone is talking about and what a trainwreck his speech really was. They may have been trying to run away from him, but they can't--and Kamala is wedded to him and all his failures.
But that was only Day 1. It's the Democrats, so you know they can always keep going downhill.
The whole point of a convention besides nominating candidates is supposed to be to showcase why the American voters should vote for you. There are so many things that might discourage Americans from voting for Democrats, like the embrace of radical policies like communistic price controls that Kamala Harris laid out. But Democrats trying to sing the national anthem showed another reason why Democrats are not going to be appealing to a lot of Americans.
I'm not even sure what you call this, except pretty bad and it says everything you need to know about the Democrats.

Democrats attempting to open up day two of the DNC by singing the National Anthem is easily funnier than anything. Saturday Night Live has done in 13 years.

From the person who doesn't even try to the women who don't seem to know the words and struggle, it's hilarious. But they want our vote for their candidates? I will give an effort point to the one who knew enough to put her hand over her heart. Negative points for the person who laughed when they didn't know what they were doing. Talk about an indictment of the DNC.
Meanwhile, because protesters broke through the fencing the DNC had put up, they put in a third level of fencing, proving again how much they believe in walls.
But the protesters managed to get in anyway and there was more left-eating-left fun. Protesters got inside the Women's Caucus event, and were shouting their heads off about women being killed in Gaza.
They were summarily tossed out. So much for listening to protesters -- that's only when they're not getting in the way of the Democrats.
