Where the Race to Save America Is Right Now

So, where are we in the race right now? If you listen to the Doomers, we’re doomed, We’re dying. We’re done. It’s over. Kamala is coming in, and pretty soon, we’re going to be goose-stepping off into a fascist future of fussy fanaticism and mandatory pronoun usage. And that could happen. Kamala absolutely could win. According to some polls, she’s ahead, though Bratmania seems to be fading as new polls come in showing Trump retaking the lead. Some of us were telling you we expected the fade; looks like we were right.

But it’s close. Let’s review the current situation.

First, let’s talk about the Republican elephant in the room – JD Vance. Some cons think that he was a terrible pick who brought nothing to the ticket except meanness toward frigid cat women. I respect some of the folks with that view, the ones who aren’t Never Trump saps. I also think they’re wrong. JD Vance is not only a solid pick, but he’s done an outstanding job. He was fantastic. If you saw him recently hit all the Sunday shows – and you didn’t because you have a life. He was good-natured, good-humored, and totally ready to turn his legal mind against the quarter-wits and half-wits of the regime media, who were doing their very best to help Harris.

Further, he’s been great on the military thing with Walz – JD showed up and Walz is a stolen valor scumbag. That impression among vets is set. JD has become a great surrogate, and he’s doing a terrific job. The debate will be fun if AWalz shows up.

People ask where Trump is, but Trump is out there, too. The regime media won’t cover him, but that’s OK. Remember, he does turn off lame people, and lame people are a huge voting bloc, so it makes sense not to oversaturate the public space with him. He just had a massive conversation with Elon Musk, which was immediately hailed as a disaster and a wreck, and the worst thing ever by people who had decided it was a disaster and a wreck and the worst thing ever long before it happened. I guess the memo went out. Folks who actually listened to it seemed to respond well.

The thing is, Trump and JD are out there pushing the message. They’re making appearances. Their opponents aren’t. Obviously, the Kamala/Walz strategy is to avoid the regime media, and the regime media wants to help them do that. Exposure to both of them correlates with disliking both of them, based on their eminent dislikeability. But Trump and JD have a great opportunity by simply making themselves available to the regime media. The regime media has nothing else to broadcast or cover. It’s going to take a 10-minute interview with Donald Trump, even though it hates Donald Trump and doesn’t want to give Donald Trump any publicity, over another 20 minutes on how Kamala is running on a platform of joy and happiness. Trump makes news.

They should be getting out there and taking advantage of whatever earned media they can. That might not be much. In 2016, all the networks were eager to show Trump because Trump was interesting and fresh, and they thought that exposure to Trump and his policies would turn off voters. It did not turn off all voters. Some voters liked it. Some who are commies or sissies didn’t. That’s why they’re desperately trying to cut him off now, even to the point of having their scumbag friends over at the EU threatening Elon Musk for daring to put an American presidential candidate out there ungatekept. It won’t work.

If you’re wondering how long Willie’s Gal and the Minnesota Marxist can go without making any media appearances, the answer is forever. They’re just not going to do it, and the regime media will let them get away with it. But even without giving interviews, Kamala is managing to insert her iconic and legendary foot in her piehole. Price controls on food? Even WaPo was all “Uh, no.” And a free $25K downpayment for homebuyers, including illegal aliens? Hey, assuming 25% down, your house will be worth $125,000 more! Kamala is as baffled about economics as the Insane Clown Posse is about magnets – “How do they work?

The regime media will still cover for the Dems, especially at the convention. Republicans are just going to have to take that lump. We’re not going to see the kill-the-Jews crew out on the streets of Chicago – the regime media will make sure that nobody spoils this human centipede with the truth about what the Democrats stand for. Further, we’re going to get a convention with endless shots of fat, unloved cat women cheering wildly in a cringe imitation of what they’ve heard orgasms sound like.

Shiver.

So, it’s not clear what the Trump campaign could have done other than what it’s been doing, which is trying to fight back with earned media instead of wasting dough peeing into the tsunami of brat propaganda. But there’s going to be a $100 million Trump spend in battleground states on behalf of Trump in September, and that’s probably a good thing. We’re hoping to turn out a lot of low-propensity voters, people who are not paying much attention to politics now but maybe will in a few weeks. Why spend all his campaign money – Trump has spent some – fighting the onslaught of free Kamala mania idiocy in the regime media? We’re fighting an insurgency against the establishment. We’re not going to meet them in battle face-to-face. Like our wonderful ancestors who gunned down the British – history sure has proven them right, huh? – we need to hide behind trees and take our shots. We’re not going to line up and fire muskets at each other until one side crumbles because they have all the institutional and regime media firepower. We’ve got to be nimble. That’s how we won in 2016. That’s how we win in 2024. Campaign managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita are doing fine.

There are a lot of doomsayers out there who think it’s all over and we can’t possibly win. Republicans are used to Republicans failing, so it’s not totally unjustified. There’s nothing wrong with a little paranoia, and there’s nothing wrong with being concerned. We should be concerned. Kamala absolutely can win. But the correlation of fundamentals is in favor of Trump. The economy is a disaster. Our foreign policy is putting us all at risk. Our borders are wide open. Criminals are running the streets. Perverts are wiggling their grody whatevers in the faces of our kids. This is all Democrat policy. All this is poison to normal people.

Look, this can’t be a normal race because there’s no normal media environment. The media is entirely and unrepentantly dedicated to electing Kamala Harris and will do everything it can to make that happen. It will not call her out. It won’t even demand that she talk to them. Instead, it will magnify and expand lies about Trump and JD shamelessly. So, you can’t run a 1996 campaign or a 2000 campaign. That world doesn’t exist. It’s got to be an insurgency campaign; luckily, that’s what Trump’s doing.
