The Anti-Midas Touch

By J Garrett

On Saturday, during an interview with MSNBC’s "The Saturday Show," President Biden said he regretted referring to the illegal alien who murdered Laken Riley as an “illegal”. He should have used the term “undocumented person.” He then went onto say that “I’m not going to treat any of these people with disrespect”, not even the illegal alien who murdered a 20-year-old nursing student and smashed her skull to pieces. So, Biden apologized to Laken Riley’s murderer for calling him an “illegal”, but he has yet to apologize to Laken Riley’s family for his open border policies that allowed her murderer into the country to murder their daughter. He has yet to apologize to the 100,000 families who are grieving the loss of one of their loved ones every year, due to a drug overdose caused by his open border policies.

Biden then added, “they [illegal immigrants] built the country.” I became very confused with that statement because we have been told for years by the left that slaves built this country. So, did the slaves build this country or did the illegal immigrants build this country? It can’t be both. If the slaves did, then the illegals who came 100 years later could not have because the country would have already been built. And if the illegals built this country, then the slaves could not have because if they had, the country would not have needed to be built when the illegals started coming here. Democrats are always trying to claim that someone who didn’t build this country built this country in order to justify some insane policy like reparations or open borders.

The Democrats for years have told us that walls don’t work to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country, but as per usual, prior to the State of the Union address, Joe Biden had a fence put up around the Capitol to stop anyone from entering the grounds that they do not want. I guess illegal immigrants are like ghosts, they have the ability to walk through walls, whereas, people who are fed up with Joe Biden’s harmful policies and want to protest his speech will be repelled by walls.

After his State of the Union address, Biden was caught on a hot mic saying that he was going to have a “come to Jesus” talk with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Joe forgot that the leader of the one and only Jewish nation in the world was in fact Jewish, and to have a “come to Jesus” talk with him is to try to convert his religion. I don’t think it is the role of the President of the United States to try to convert the leaders of other countries to Christianity, especially since the Biden administration claims that Christianity is the biggest existential threat to the world.

Biden claimed that he used that expression metaphorically to mean that he would try to convince Netanyahu to agree to a cease fire in Gaza. He wants Israel to stop fighting Hamas, the Islamic terrorist group who targeted and killed over 1,400 Israeli civilians on October 6 of last year. It’s interesting though, after we were attacked by Islamic terrorists on 9/11, we invaded two Middle Eastern countries and conducted two wars which lasted 11 and 20 years, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians in those countries, and Joe Biden voted for and helped oversee both of those wars. Joe did not appear to care about the loss of civilian life in those wars mainly because those wars enriched the military industrial complex who was financing the campaigns of most of the politicians in the swamp, including Biden. We are currently giving Ukraine a blank check to conduct its war against Russia with no thought of pursuing a peace deal between the two countries, even though tens of thousands of Ukrainian citizens are being killed every year.

The only civilian deaths that Joe Biden seems to care about are those in Gaza that are created by Hamas using Palestinian citizens as human shields. He doesn’t care about the death of Laken Riley or the deaths of 100,000 American citizens due to drug overdoses. He doesn’t care about the thousands of deaths of Ukrainian civilians, just as he didn’t care about the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghanistan civilians. He only cares about the deaths of the civilians in Gaza who elected the blood thirsty terrorist group Hamas to be their leaders. And now Biden wants Israel to stop their campaign just as they are on the precipice of defeating Hamas once and for all.

Joe Biden is trying to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory in Israel. But that is what Biden has been doing since he took office. Donald Trump had our border more secure than it has been in 40 years, and Joe Biden reversed all of his policies, creating an unprecedented border crisis. Trump had made the United States energy independent for the first time in history, and Biden reversed Trump’s energy policies, and now we have to beg dictators to produce oil we need, and Europe is forced buy oil from Russia. Biden inherited 2% inflation when he took office, and immediately went on a spending spree, forcing the fed to print trillions of new dollars, which drove up inflation over 9% – a 40-year high. Trump had brokered five Middle East peace deals, and Biden undermined each one, setting that part of the world on fire again. Biden has the bizarro Midas touch – everything he touches, turns to crap.

Regardless of what he says, Biden doesn’t care about the deaths of the civilians in Gaza, he is using their deaths to push the globalist agenda. Biden does not want Israel to win and destroy Hamas. He and the swamp in Washington need to have conflict in the Middle East. That’s why they have done everything in their power to defeat the one United States President who brought the most peace to the Middle East. The world was as peaceful under Trump as it had been in my lifetime, and all these people hate the man who made it so. If they truly wanted peace in the world, they would all be Trump supporters or at least they would not intentionally undermine his policies.
