When Harris Faulkner blurted, Monday, that Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson “have mutually decided to part ways” on The Faulkner Focus – “effective immediately” – jaws dropped everywhere.

Last Friday, I attended The Heritage Foundation's 50th Anniversary Gala, a sprawling and swanky affair featuring many fine presentations, a surprise Dierks Bentley mini-concert for the country music enthusiasts (yours truly among them) and an extravagant post-dinner fireworks show over the Potomac River. But the highlight of the evening, bar none, was former Fox News star Tucker Carlson's electric keynote address and his (all-too-brief) colloquy on stage afterward with Heritage's exceptional new president, Kevin Roberts.

As Hunter Biden’s attorneys get ready to meet with the Department of Justice this week concerning his shady business dealings with foreign actors, New York Post author Miranda Devine is positing that the ‘first son’ may be hiding behind White House walls to avoid legal papers from his baby mama.
Lunden Roberts, the former stripper who gave birth to Hunter Biden’s now-4-year-old unacknowledged daughter, Navy, has officially gone on the warpath and wants him put behind bars for refusing to hand over his financial records in their child support dispute.
Roberts’ attorney, Clinton Lancaster, asked an Arkansas court on Friday to arrest Hunter Biden for not turning over the documents required in her lawsuit concerning child support payments.
Her attorney claimed that he is “flaunting the dignity and authority of the court” by failing to provide “one single item or word [of] discovery” and asserted, “This court should incarcerate the defendant in the Cleburne County Detention Center until he complies with this court’s orders.”
“In those two months, the defendant has provided no additional discovery – not so much as one single item or word – and has failed to supplement his answers at the court’s directive,” the attorney fumed.
“There is no valid excuse or justification for the defendant’s failure to provide the required disclosures as the court has granted every single protective order the defendant has asked for since the inception of this case … the defendant is playing games with this court,” Lancaster railed.
Roberts’ attorney also fired off a fresh discovery request asking a massive amount of questions covering Hunter’s assets, earnings, overseas business dealings in Ukraine and China, plus any payouts to attorneys and agents.
This case has been a hot mess from the beginning with Roberts getting a court-ordered paternity test that has proven Navy is Hunter Biden’s daughter. The First Son, in turn, outrageously asked that his monthly child support payments be reduced.
Devine laid out Roberts’ partial strategy in attacking Hunter Biden in court. Things are going to get uglier than they already are, evidently.
“She also has enlisted Biden nemesis Garrett Ziegler as an expert witness for the trial expected in July. The 27-year-old former Trump adviser is founder of the nonprofit Marco Polo, which published a 644-page analysis of Hunter’s infamous laptop last year, identifying hundreds of alleged crimes,” Devine reported in her op-ed at the New York Post.
“Ziegler currently is being sued by Hunter’s ‘sugar brother,’ wealthy Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, for alleged harassment and invasion of privacy. Morris generously paid off Hunter’s $2.8 million IRS bill, which is part of a federal criminal investigation by the US attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, into the first son’s overseas business dealings,” she added.
Devine points out that things are coming to a head after “a career IRS criminal supervisory special agent who has been investigating Hunter for three years came forward with claims that federal prosecutors are preventing tax charges from being brought against the president’s son.”
The whistleblower’s attorney, Mark Lytle, asserted in a letter to Democrats and Republicans that “Preferential treatment and politics [are] improperly infecting decisions” in the case.
Devine then made the allegation that Hunter Biden has entrenched himself behind the walls of the White House to avoid being served legal papers.
“Roberts’ legal maneuvers in Arkansas lend weight to the rumor in Washington, DC, that Hunter has been living at the White House with his second wife, Melissa Cohen, and their 3-year-old son, Beau, allegedly to avoid being served with legal papers,” the author continued.
“Numerous sightings over the past six months lend credence to the idea, with Hunter and his family spotted trailing his father and the first lady onto Marine One for weekends away to Delaware or Camp David, or for longer vacations at the borrowed homes of billionaires,” she noted.
Devine put forth the contention that even when he’s not at the White House, Hunter Biden is being kept secluded under the protection of his father, the president.
“Last week Hunter joined his father on a state visit to Ireland. Surrounded by his father’s Secret Service detail and protected by his own agents, it is difficult for a process server to get to him,” she stated.
Devine also pointed out that House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer this week accused 12 immediate family members of the Biden clan of profiting from foreign influence peddling.
“I haven’t found any legitimate business dealings on the Biden end [unless you count] influence peddling,” Comer told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo during an interview.
“If you want to get to a legal term, that’s called being a foreign agent. They weren’t registered as a foreign agent and I’m sure the ethics laws would prevent immediate family members of high-ranking government officials from being foreign agents,” he alleged. “Either way this is bad. There are more laws that appear to me that have been broken than just tax evasion and there are a lot more Bidens involved than just the president’s son and his brother.”
“There’s no rhyme or reason why Hunter Biden shouldn’t have been indicted years ago … but one of the challenges [for the DOJ is] what do you do with this many family members of the president? There’s not going to be anybody left for a Christmas picture if the DOJ did their job and went and indicted anyone who has any type of fingerprints involved in this influence-peddling scheme,” Comer quipped. “I mean, it’s the entire family.”
Devine continued to expound upon Comer’s investigation into the Biden family and its business dealings.
“Comer also foreshadowed an upcoming press conference on ‘six specific decisions Joe Biden made either as vice president or president that are very concerning to us that we believe could potentially lead back to payments that were … laundered down to the Biden family members,'” she wrote.
“He added, ‘There’s no … explanation for this family to receive this many suspicious wires from our adversaries around the world if Joe Biden weren’t directly involved in some type of decision making because I am confident that these people who were wiring the Bidens were expecting to get a return on their investment and there isn’t a single one of those family members that had the ability to do anything to influence foreign policy other than the ‘Big Guy’ Joe Biden.,'” Devine recounted.
She also highlighted Comer shredding President Biden over China.
“China continues to steal our intellectual property. They continue to manipulate our currency. They continue to buy companies around the world that are a problem from a national security standpoint and yet this president does nothing about China,” Comer charged. “It makes you wonder if he is, in fact, compromised because of the millions of dollars his family has already taken in from the Chinese Communist Party.”

Early on Tuesday morning, President Joe Biden launched his 2024 re-election bid via a three-minute video posted across social media. Like his gaffe-filled presidential speeches, the campaign clip is riddled with false claims about Biden's political opponents.

In a new Wall Street Journal poll, released on Friday, Trump turned what had been a 14-point deficit into a 13-point lead, now leading DeSantis 51 to 38 percent among likely GOP voters. This follows a Fox News poll at the end of March that showed Trump up by 30 points, 54 to 24 percent.
