Why No One Serious Is Challenging Biden

By Derek Hunter |

AP Photo/Evan Vucci

You sit back and watch President Joe Biden and it’s impossible to believe he’s on the ball; that he is all there mentally. Granted, with Joe it’s always difficult to tell if his gaffes are because of his age and the natural mental deterioration that goes with it, or just his general low intelligence – he was stupid long before he was senile. As Barack Obama famously put it, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” All of which begs the question: If Biden is so far gone and so wildly unpopular, why haven’t any serious Democrats stepped up and challenged him for the 2024 nomination?

I understand that Robert Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson are technically running against Joe, but they aren’t “serious” candidates, by which I mean people with a large enough following or holders of high enough elected office to command being taken seriously or even warranting a DNC debate to be scheduled. RFK has the family name, but that’s really it. His anti-vax crusade made him popular with some thanks to the COVID shot failures, but he’s been damn near anti-ever vaccine and pro-conspiracy that they cause autism for years, which is way outside the mainstream and beyond proof. Williamson is essentially Oprah’s guru, and Dr. Oz showed just how loyal a friend Oprah is.

Where is Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsom or any of the others waiting in the wings for their chance?

Biden is wildly unpopular, with a super-majority of his own party telling pollsters they don’t want him to run. His reelection kick-off wasn’t even an event. Afraid the President of the United States couldn’t attract an enthusiastic enough crowd or mentally focus for a kick-off speech, or bring the energy necessary to make it successful, they opted for a heavily edited video. You have to wonder how many takes were needed to record his limited dialog (I suspect it was many).

When you have an unpopular candidate with limited abilities you do everything possible to insulate them from the public ever seeing them in unscripted moments. That’s why the White House pre-approving questions this week is such a big deal. The LA Times tried to pretend their “reporter” didn’t give Biden’s staff the question in advance, but the White House would have to employ a team of psychics to have gotten the topic and some of the exact verbiage as correct as they did. The inclusion of her picture and phonetic pronunciation of her last name, which Biden didn’t even try, are the type of tricks people use to avoid people not all there from being surprised.

So, why do ambitious Democrats tolerate this and sit on the sidelines when there is clear indication Joe is not up to the job and there is blood in the water?

First, the entirety of the Democrat Industrial Complex is lined up to “Weekend at Bernie’s” Joe Biden for as long as humanly possible. Joe’s whole life has been trying to become President and attain all the trappings that go along with it, he will never walk away from that without a fight. But he also has no core beliefs other than blind ambition and making himself and his family richer, so he’s an empty vessel. This allows activist leftists to get him to do pretty much anything, as long as they don’t challenge him in any way.

During the campaign, Biden was unambiguous that he did not think “student loan forgiveness” was a good idea or something he could do, but he did it anyway to appease radicals. In fact, there is no issue on which Joe Biden has been consistent, not only in his whole career, but in the last 20 years. As a Senator, Biden wasn’t known for any accomplishments or signature issues, he simply portrayed himself as a foreign policy expert (laughingly).

He has achieved his lifelong goal, there is no way he’s walking away. He will take all the slings and arrows, suffer any public humiliation, be viewed less favorably than toenail fungus to maintain it.

Biden’s executive actions also allow the left to get a lot of what they want advanced without having to argue for it themselves, insulating them, to a degree, from fallout.

If you are unprincipled, this is a fair trade. No establishment Democrat wants to disrupt this Faustian bargain, lest the rest of that political machinery come crashing down on you.

There is also another reason, because if it were just a matter of upsetting the establishment there is no way Gavin Newsom would stay out of it. It is the firm belief, and higher than normal probability, that Joe Biden simply won’t make it to the nomination.

If he’s on the ballot and has to drop off, whatever the reason, Vice President Kamala Harris would be there. But if he has to drop out, resign the office, or pass away (and I’m not wishing for it, but he is a frail 80-year-old man and things happen) before being re-nominated, it would be better politically to jump in to “save the day” at that point than it would be to be seen as having pressured him or perhaps having “driven” him to one of those ends.

Biden won’t be booted by the party because he chose the one candidate less popular than any other, while also being “historic,” as his running mate to insulate him from a coup. No one seriously will challenge him because it could be seen as abusive and disrespectful, plus there’s a better than average chance he won’t make it to the nomination, which would free up someone waiting in the wings. There’s a reason Newsom has been traveling the country and it’s not just that he wants to get away from California’s smell, drug, crime and homeless problem.

Joe Biden is as “safe” from a Democrat challenge as he is unpopular. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t players making moves behind the scenes waiting for the wheels to fall off, one way or another, ready to step in at a moment’s notice.

Ultimate Irony: the Democrat Party Subverts Basic Democracy™, Cancels All 2024 Primary Debates

AP Photo/Andrew Harnik

The apparent solution the DNC has landed on to solve its RFK Jr. problem is simply to do away with the whole pesky democratic process and skip straight to the coronation ceremony.

As reported by PJ Media’s Robert Spencer, via the Washington Post, there will be no upcoming debates for the 2023/24 primary season. “The national Democratic Party has said it will support Biden’s reelection, and it has no plans to sponsor primary debates.”

The basement strategy requires it.

Admitted diversity hire Karine Jean-Pierre recently received (exceedingly rare) pushback from the media regarding Biden’s frightened avoidance of public exposure.

Via Fox News:

The White House has quietly corrected a claim made Tuesday by press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre that President Biden has taken more questions from the press than former Presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama and George W. Bush combined.

Without alerting the public to the changes, the White House corrected the official transcript of Jean-Pierre’s gaggle with reporters aboard Air Force One to read “question-and-answer sessions” rather than “questions,” despite her making the claim four times.

Then we discover that when Biden is allowed to appear for the briefest of moments in front of the cameras, he comes equipped with the handpicked journalist’s name, photograph, and the pre-written questions on a notecard!

Of course, while deeply and ironically undemocratic for the party that relentlessly henpecks the public about the need to defend Democracy™, it’s the only real option that Biden’s handlers have short of actually rigging the ballots on election day to prevent RFK Jr. from getting a fair referendum in the primaries.

Longtime Democrat hack David Axelrod is currently pretending on CNN that Biden doesn’t even have any political rivals for the 2024 nomination.

As the Washington Post explains, the only hope is to keep Biden safely out of view and hammer home the thinnest possible talking point that he is more electable than his rivals: “[Democrats] are lukewarm about picking Biden as their nominee, but many believe he may be the best hope of preventing a second Trump term and fighting extremism.”

(Whenever the corporate media recites the “many believe…” talking point, they are projecting their own views. The “many” who believe Biden is the only hope for the Democrats are all Washington Post editors.)

“We have to prove democracy still works,” Biden declared in 2021.

Will the brutal, hypocritical, authoritarian hypocrisy rattle Democrat voters sufficiently to turn them off voting for Handsy Uncle Joseph come primary season? Only time will tell.

Five Big Favors Biden Has Done for His Commie Sugar Daddies in Beijing

AP Photo/Alex Brandon

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the master-blaster of the House Oversight Committee,  claims as many as 12 members of the Biden crime family have snuggled up to the udder on the Chinese communist cash cow.

Comer claims the committee has found a bumper crop of wire transfers from Chinese pinkos that were sent to a friend of Hunter Biden’s named “Walker” and thence on to various Biden bank accounts.

“There’s not going to be anybody left for a Christmas picture if the [Department of Justice] did their job and went in there and indicted everyone that has any type of fingerprints involved in this influence-peddling scheme,” Comer joked to Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo. “I mean, it’s the entire family, and there isn’t a single one of those family members that had the ability to do anything to influence foreign policy other than the big guy, Joe Biden.”

So what, exactly, has President* Biden done for our foremost adversaries on the world stage?

He has given them almost everything they want:

1: World Health Organization Control Over the U.S.

Shortly after being inaugurated — before the inauguration ball — Joe Biden rejoined the World Health Organization (WHO) on his very first day in office. Trump had pulled us out when he saw too much red.

I’ve been sounding the alarm that the WHO has become a coffee klatch of commie nonsense, but don’t take my word for it.

FACT-O-RAMA! Astonishingly, the Biden administration is negotiating with the WHO to give the pinkos the right to handle our next “pandemic.” The WHO may also be given the right to spy on those of us who refuse to bend our knees and raise our sleeves for any future “vaccines.” The commies will also have the ability to mandate vaccines — and lockdowns — for the United States.

This means the WHO — which, again, is run by a die-hard communist and ran interference for China in regards to their handling of the COVID outbreak — will have incredible control over We the People.

2: TikTok Ban Reversal

On June 9, 2021, 140 days into his term, Gropey Biden scrapped the Trump-era executive order to ban TikTok and WeChat in the United States. Biden reversed that order, allowing China to continue to spy on every American who used one or both of these apps, then weakly called for reviews of any apps that may be linked to any foreign adversary.

China is the only country with both the intent to reshape the international order and, increasingly, the economic, diplomatic, military, and technological power to do it. — Secretary of State Anthony Blinken

3: Ending Trump’s China Initiative

Despite a flurry of Chinese spooks — from college campuses to Rep. Eric Swallwell’s bed — Biden, unbelievably, decided that chasing them was somehow “racist” and ended the Trump-era spy-hunting “Chinese Initiative.”

“We gave up,” a former official from the Justice Department lamented. “You know the champagne corks will be popping at CCP offices. They won the disinformation campaign.”

The Biden regime set out to replace the China Initiative with a “broader” look at spies from various countries, despite these words from an FBI spokesperson:

The threat from the Chinese government stands apart. No government poses a broader, more severe threat to our ideas, innovation, and economic security than the government of China does. Together with the Department of Justice and our other partners in the U.S. government, the private sector, and around the world, we will remain relentless countering the Chinese government in the long fight already underway, using every lawful weapon at our disposal – one of which will remain our adherence to the rule of law.

4: Spy Balloon Right-of-way

Just when you thought Biden couldn’t kiss Xi Xinping’s pigu anymore, he obeisantly allowed the Chinese spy balloon to traverse the nation undeterred.

U.S. officials watched the balloon from the moment it lifted off from China. We had plenty of time to shoot it down over the largely unpopulated Aleutian Islands. Instead, Biden allowed it to hover over American bases — some of which house nuclear missiles — and soak up all the intel China wanted. Biden wouldn’t shoot the balloon down until it had finished its mission and relayed the intel to Beijing then floated over the Atlantic Ocean.

5: An Open Southern Border

Whereas many American are angry about the mass flood of illegal immigrants over our southern border — as we should be — many aren’t aware that China is sneaking billions of dollars of lethal fentanyl over as well.

Roughly 80,000 Americans, many of whom are teens, overdose and die on Chinese fentanyl every year. In four years of Biden in the White House, we can estimate that 320,000 Americans will die taking fentanyl. That’s more than American combat fatalities in WWII. Many victims won’t even know they are ingesting the drug.

But Biden’s Chinese wire-pullers want their cheddar, so our Cuck-in-Chief allows the catastrophe to continue. Heaven forbid our president fall on his sword to save hundreds of thousands of American lives.

With more evidence coming from the Oversight Committee every week, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Biden won’t take his tongue off of Xi’s boot anytime soon. The First Family can’t afford it.

It’s Never Been About Tucker, Trump, or Fox News

By Will Alexander |

AP Photo/Seth Wenig

When Harris Faulkner blurted, Monday, that Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson “have mutually decided to part ways” on The Faulkner Focus – “effective immediately” – jaws dropped everywhere.

“Tucker’s last show was this past Friday,” Faulkner said, meaning the same Friday that Carlson told some 3 million viewers, “We’ll be back on Monday … see you then.”

And poof! – that was it.

In 30 seconds, cable’s highest-rated news host was gone from Fox for good. It was like the Chicago Bulls dumping Michael Jordan mid-contract, at the peak of his game, on the way to the warmup session before a big playoff game.  That would never happen.

So naturally, the Tucker news created a sinkhole of unanswered questions from millions of viewers, rightly shocked, who’d developed a muscle memory for tuning in to the show each day around dinner time.

But with viewers still frozen in shock, Faulkner quickly shifted to the next story: Two Democrat states passed bills that help children sign up for gender surgery without telling their parents.

“OK fine, Harris,” I said, “but what happened to Tucker?!” Faulkner moved on but missed the irony in the gender story.

“And don’t tell their parents!” Faulkner said shockingly, aghast at withholding information from the people who gave birth to these children. “Don’t even acknowledge their existence!  Get this (surgery) done with the children, and don’t tell their parents!”

That’s exactly what Fox was doing to Tucker’s audience, the viewers who breathed life into his record ratings.

“Cut the show. Do the surgery now! Don’t tell the viewers what’s going on. Don’t acknowledge their existence. Just get this done, keep it quiet, and move on.”

Faulkner, a bold, talented, truth-teller, was bound by her employer to be a party to what, effectively, was a lie (mutually decided?).

Given Tucker’s massive influence, the moment screamed for the truth about what was really happening.  But television’s boldest and chattiest on-screen personalities just went mum on one of the biggest stories of this wickedly backward Biden era.  It killed Fox’s credibility.

And poof! – that was it.  I “parted ways” with Fox News – “effective immediately.”

And just as quickly, knee-jerk Fox-haters were happy to dump dirt into the Tucker sinkhole.

LA Times: “Tucker Carlson – the race-baiting, immigrant-hating, election-denying, Putin-promoting, two-faced ringmaster of right-wing sophistry – was unceremoniously dumped by his corporate sponsor, Fox News.  Let the joyous news be spread!” wrote Mark Z. Barabak in an opinion piece.

CNN: “Fox News and Tucker Carlson, the right-wing extremist who used his prime time perch … to exert a firm grip over the Republican Party, have severed ties. …” wrote Oliver Darcy and Marshall Cohen in CNN Business online. “Carlson propelled himself to stardom in recent years by being a top promoter of conspiracy theories and radical rhetoric.  Not only did he repeatedly sow doubt about the legitimacy of the 2020 election, but he also promoted conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 vaccines and elevated white nationalist talking points.”

AOC: “… de-platforming works, and it is important, … “ she tweeted.

The View, singing in unison: “Na-na-na-na!  Na-na-na-na!  Hey, hey, hey, goodbye!”

In Tucker’s first video post-Fox, as usual, he was dead right about these people: “The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are,” he said.  “They’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. … And yet at the same time, the undeniably big topics – the ones that will define our future – get virtually no discussion at all …”

That’s the truth.  Simmering beneath the chaos, the “undeniably big topics” are being ignored.

Listen. America is going to hell in a handbasket. Not in the surreal world created by TV and social media, but in the real world. A civilizational inferno has engulfed America and the people we’ve elected to fight it have done nothing of substance to contain it.

We’re not dealing with people who merely disagree on how to put the fire out. We’re dealing with political pyromaniacs who set the fires, watch them burn, and work to stop anyone who tries to put them out.

They’re facilitating illegal immigration, weaponizing government, redefining crime and punishment, changing the definition of inflation to spend more, corrupting our election system, cheering and funding a tyrannical gender revolution, and butchering history to institutionalize a cultish gospel of black victimhood.

This stuff is happening. We see it. And when a public figure like Tucker Carlson says aloud what we’re seeing, we tune in. Simple. That’s what was behind his record ratings. That’s what solidifies Trump’s base. And that is what gave birth to Fox News’ “Most-Watched” branding since the early Trump days.

But by dumping Tucker in the way it did, Fox is signaling that it wants to position the company back toward a mushy, moderate conservatism. Political psychopaths have made the slightest whiff of pro-Trump sentiment very costly. By amputating its “Trump propaganda arm” reputation and shedding viewers that Joe Biden has demonized as the “MAGA crowd,” Fox News can, among other things, keep its head low enough to avoid the artillery of lawfare that drives up the cost of putting principles above business.

Fine, it’s a free country. I recommend Harris Faulkner for Tucker’s slot. But since it’s now clear that even she would be on a short leash, goodbye Fox.

We’re in dire need of leaders, but we’re not looking for cult leaders. This stuff has never been about Tucker, Trump, Fox, or whomever. It’s about the inferno, stupid. We just want the truth, and this is an emergency.

Common sense Americans who clearly see what’s happening to their country are still seething. And while you can always take down the great people who are bold enough to stick their necks out, the tens of millions of Americans whose existence is never acknowledged – or respected – are not going anywhere.

Tucker Carlson and the Struggle for Civilizational Sanity

 By Josh Hammer |

AP Photo/Seth Wenig, File

Last Friday, I attended The Heritage Foundation's 50th Anniversary Gala, a sprawling and swanky affair featuring many fine presentations, a surprise Dierks Bentley mini-concert for the country music enthusiasts (yours truly among them) and an extravagant post-dinner fireworks show over the Potomac River. But the highlight of the evening, bar none, was former Fox News star Tucker Carlson's electric keynote address and his (all-too-brief) colloquy on stage afterward with Heritage's exceptional new president, Kevin Roberts.

Carlson's speech was both wildly entertaining and poignant, at times slapstick funny and at other times humorously self-deprecating about his Episcopalian faith. But as Carlson began to reach his peroration, the key substantive takeaway he wished to impart unto his audience became clear. The relevant political and cultural battle lines in the year 2023 are not those befitting a civil and polite discussion where both sides are reasonable, both sides pursue their own version of the common good and the best think tank white paper wins out in the end, Carlson cautioned. No, our current civilizational struggle is not reflective of a refined policy debate between amicable partisans; rather, it is one that implicates fundamentally distinct theological and anthropological visions of mankind -- of man's very biology and his relation with his fellow man, the state and God Himself.

I immediately hearkened back to an interview Claremont Institute President Ryan Williams did with The Atlantic in October 2021, where Williams had this provocative (but accurate) line about America's contemporary fault lines: "Even during the Civil War -- I think we're more divided now than we were then. As Lincoln said, we all prayed to the same God. We all believed in the same Constitution. We just differed over the question of slavery." This is the precise sentiment that Carlson was getting at in his keynote speech at the Heritage gala last Friday.

We in the audience did not know it yet, at the time of Carlson's speech -- nor did Carlson, for that matter -- but the broadcasting star had already given his last searing monologue for Fox News. In a stunning development, Fox News broke the news to their highest-rated host on Monday morning that he was fired. Hopefully, Carlson will retain something approximating his exceptional level of cultural and political influence in whatever role he next serves, because his witness to truth and civilizational sanity have never been more necessary.

This is perhaps most clearly true when it comes to gender ideology and transgenderism, which is the issue most directly implicated by Carlson's framing of America's fundamental divide as a struggle between differing theological and anthropological conceptions of man. Is sexual dimorphism an obvious empirical reality, rooted in Genesis 1:27, and mandating legal codification for any regime that claims a basis in truth and justice? Or is gender instead "fluid," wherein man can replace God and change his gender on a lark, and wherein it is contemptible bigotry to deny anyone's subjective sense of biological or sexual reality? Tucker Carlson certainly knew his answer: He opened a memorable 2021 interview of former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson by asking the then-sitting governor, who had shamefully vetoed a bill to protect vulnerable children from the predatory scalpels of the woke-besotted medical establishment, why he had "come out publicly as 'pro-choice' on the question of chemical castration of children." Oof.

That is not a debate where the "best white paper wins." It is a zero-sum contestation of clashing visions of the human person, rooted in diametrically opposed substantive underpinnings. And, more to the point, the forces of godlessness, paganism and civilizational arson certainly already treat the debate over gender ideology as a vicious winner-take-all battle.

The recent mini-insurrection in Nashville, which followed the tragic shooting of a Christian school and the temporary expulsions of two insurrection-complicit state lawmakers, can best be understood as one elaborate attempt to distract the public from the real issue: That a transgender lunatic shot up a Christian school, and that law enforcement has thus far been unwilling to defy the transgender lobby's not-so-thinly-veiled blackmail, opting instead to deep-six the deceased shooter's presumptively anti-Christian manifesto.

More recently, a similar situation unfolded in Montana, where Republicans who control the state House banned a transgender lawmaker from attending or speaking during floor sessions following the lawmaker's comment, during the debate over an anti-chemical castration bill similar to the one Hutchinson vetoed in Arkansas, that the lawmaker hoped colleagues would see "blood on (their) hands" when they bowed their heads in prayer. Numerous protesters were arrested and forcibly removed from the legislature earlier this week, as they agitated in favor of the uncouth transgender lawmaker.

Large swaths of the modern Left have made the fight for gender ideology and transgenderism their foremost hill to die on precisely because they are so infatuated with their own vogue anthropology and "theology" that they view the other side -- the side of sanity -- as wholly undeserving of the civility and respect that a normal exchange over public policy might entail. I know this all too well, myself: My writing that invariably elicits the most protests when I speak on university campuses is a short piece I wrote a few years ago praising U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Judge Kyle Duncan's admirable use of biologically correct pronouns in a judicial opinion. I'd write the same thing again today.

But those protesters, whether in Nashville, Helena, Stanford Law School or another academic corridor, are not open to rational debate. They are not willing to be reasoned with. Rather, they know their conclusions, because they have fully imbibed a highly fashionable -- if false -- anthropological and "theological" conception of man. Those of us on the side of civilizational sanity need all the help we can get in pushing back against the onslaught.

Tucker Carlson, please come back soon.

Hunter Biden’s baby mama asks court to jail him, as he uses dad, White House to evade legal papers

By Terresa Monroe-Hamilton | AmericanWire

Source: Instagram Lunden Roberts, Screen Grab Hunter Biden

As Hunter Biden’s attorneys get ready to meet with the Department of Justice this week concerning his shady business dealings with foreign actors, New York Post author Miranda Devine is positing that the ‘first son’ may be hiding behind White House walls to avoid legal papers from his baby mama.

Lunden Roberts, the former stripper who gave birth to Hunter Biden’s now-4-year-old unacknowledged daughter, Navy, has officially gone on the warpath and wants him put behind bars for refusing to hand over his financial records in their child support dispute.

Roberts’ attorney, Clinton Lancaster, asked an Arkansas court on Friday to arrest Hunter Biden for not turning over the documents required in her lawsuit concerning child support payments.

Her attorney claimed that he is “flaunting the dignity and authority of the court” by failing to provide “one single item or word [of] discovery” and asserted, “This court should incarcerate the defendant in the Cleburne County Detention Center until he complies with this court’s orders.”

“In those two months, the defendant has provided no additional discovery – not so much as one single item or word – and has failed to supplement his answers at the court’s directive,” the attorney fumed.

“There is no valid excuse or justification for the defendant’s failure to provide the required disclosures as the court has granted every single protective order the defendant has asked for since the inception of this case … the defendant is playing games with this court,” Lancaster railed.

Roberts’ attorney also fired off a fresh discovery request asking a massive amount of questions covering Hunter’s assets, earnings, overseas business dealings in Ukraine and China, plus any payouts to attorneys and agents.

This case has been a hot mess from the beginning with Roberts getting a court-ordered paternity test that has proven Navy is Hunter Biden’s daughter. The First Son, in turn, outrageously asked that his monthly child support payments be reduced.

Devine laid out Roberts’ partial strategy in attacking Hunter Biden in court. Things are going to get uglier than they already are, evidently.

“She also has enlisted Biden nemesis Garrett Ziegler as an expert witness for the trial expected in July. The 27-year-old former Trump adviser is founder of the nonprofit Marco Polo, which published a 644-page analysis of Hunter’s infamous laptop last year, identifying hundreds of alleged crimes,” Devine reported in her op-ed at the New York Post.

“Ziegler currently is being sued by Hunter’s ‘sugar brother,’ wealthy Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, for alleged harassment and invasion of privacy. Morris generously paid off Hunter’s $2.8 million IRS bill, which is part of a federal criminal investigation by the US attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, into the first son’s overseas business dealings,” she added.

Devine points out that things are coming to a head after “a career IRS criminal supervisory special agent who has been investigating Hunter for three years came forward with claims that federal prosecutors are preventing tax charges from being brought against the president’s son.”

The whistleblower’s attorney, Mark Lytle, asserted in a letter to Democrats and Republicans that “Preferential treatment and politics [are] improperly infecting decisions” in the case.

Devine then made the allegation that Hunter Biden has entrenched himself behind the walls of the White House to avoid being served legal papers.

“Roberts’ legal maneuvers in Arkansas lend weight to the rumor in Washington, DC, that Hunter has been living at the White House with his second wife, Melissa Cohen, and their 3-year-old son, Beau, allegedly to avoid being served with legal papers,” the author continued.

“Numerous sightings over the past six months lend credence to the idea, with Hunter and his family spotted trailing his father and the first lady onto Marine One for weekends away to Delaware or Camp David, or for longer vacations at the borrowed homes of billionaires,” she noted.

Devine put forth the contention that even when he’s not at the White House, Hunter Biden is being kept secluded under the protection of his father, the president.

“Last week Hunter joined his father on a state visit to Ireland. Surrounded by his father’s Secret Service detail and protected by his own agents, it is difficult for a process server to get to him,” she stated.

Devine also pointed out that House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer this week accused 12 immediate family members of the Biden clan of profiting from foreign influence peddling.

“I haven’t found any legitimate business dealings on the Biden end [unless you count] influence peddling,” Comer told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo during an interview.

“If you want to get to a legal term, that’s called being a foreign agent. They weren’t registered as a foreign agent and I’m sure the ethics laws would prevent immediate family members of high-ranking government officials from being foreign agents,” he alleged. “Either way this is bad. There are more laws that appear to me that have been broken than just tax evasion and there are a lot more Bidens involved than just the president’s son and his brother.”

“There’s no rhyme or reason why Hunter Biden shouldn’t have been indicted years ago … but one of the challenges [for the DOJ is] what do you do with this many family members of the president? There’s not going to be anybody left for a Christmas picture if the DOJ did their job and went and indicted anyone who has any type of fingerprints involved in this influence-peddling scheme,” Comer quipped. “I mean, it’s the entire family.”

Devine continued to expound upon Comer’s investigation into the Biden family and its business dealings.

“Comer also foreshadowed an upcoming press conference on ‘six specific decisions Joe Biden made either as vice president or president that are very concerning to us that we believe could potentially lead back to payments that were … laundered down to the Biden family members,'” she wrote.

“He added, ‘There’s no … explanation for this family to receive this many suspicious wires from our adversaries around the world if Joe Biden weren’t directly involved in some type of decision making because I am confident that these people who were wiring the Bidens were expecting to get a return on their investment and there isn’t a single one of those family members that had the ability to do anything to influence foreign policy other than the ‘Big Guy’ Joe Biden.,'” Devine recounted.

She also highlighted Comer shredding President Biden over China.

China continues to steal our intellectual property. They continue to manipulate our currency. They continue to buy companies around the world that are a problem from a national security standpoint and yet this president does nothing about China,” Comer charged. “It makes you wonder if he is, in fact, compromised because of the millions of dollars his family has already taken in from the Chinese Communist Party.”

THE BIDEN LEGACY: HHS Whistleblower Tara Lee Rodas Tells Congress Biden Administration Is “Middleman” in Multi-Billion Dollar Migrant Child Trafficking Operation

Biden's 2024 Announcement Is Full of Lies

By Mia Cathell |

Townhall Media

Early on Tuesday morning, President Joe Biden launched his 2024 re-election bid via a three-minute video posted across social media. Like his gaffe-filled presidential speeches, the campaign clip is riddled with false claims about Biden's political opponents.

"Freedom" is the video's title and the very first word uttered by Biden, flashing on the screen, about 10 seconds in. "Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There's nothing more important. Nothing more sacred," Biden's booming voice-over narrated. "That's been the work of my first term: To fight for our democracy. This shouldn't be a red or blue issue."

"The question we are facing is whether in the years ahead we have more freedom or less freedom, more rights or fewer," the 80-year-old stated. "I know what I want the answer to be. This is not a time to be complacent. That's why I'm running for reelection."

In a tweet Tuesday morning, Biden echoed his sentiments on standing up for "fundamental freedoms."

As Katie pointed out, vaccine-obsessed Biden, the so-called leader of the free world, issued a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal workers, ordering that all employees were required to get vaxxed against the coronavirus or be subject to disciplinary action, which included termination. Likewise, in an affront to individual autonomy and those bravely fighting for America's freedom, Biden imposed a military-wide vaccine mandate, causing thousands of U.S. military personnel to have been discharged or sidelined for refusing the jab. Biden's administration also sought to enforce a draconian vaccine-or-test mandate on private businesses through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), but the move was deemed illegal.

Social Security

Attacking GOP leadership, Biden claimed, "But you know, around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take those bedrock freedoms away," which the octogenarian alleged included "cutting Social Security that you've paid for your entire life."

Townhall previously debunked this oft-repeated claim that Biden regurgitates in office and on the 2024 campaign trail. The majority of conservative lawmakers aren't on board with sunsetting Social Security and Medicare as Republican top brass has repeatedly declared that mainstream GOP members have no intention of ending these generations-old federal entitlements.

Language in Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL)'s "11-Point Plan to Rescue America," which proposes that "All federal legislation sunsets in 5 years. If a law is worth keeping, Congress can pass it again," gave Biden an entry point for attack. Scott, who has insisted he wants to "preserve" Social Security and Medicare, later clarified that his multi-pronged plan is meant to examine and reform these federal programs, not eliminate them altogether. Republican leaders have strongly disavowed Scott's proposal with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) insisting that cuts to the old-age programs are "off the table" and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) asserting it's "the Rick Scott plan," "not a Republican plan" or "part of a Republican Senate majority agenda."

While he's frequently suggested that Republicans want to put both Medicare and Social Security on the chopping block, Biden himself had introduced legislation in 1975 when the then-senator of Delaware pushed a bill requiring all federal programs to sunset after four years. "It requires every program to be looked at freshly at least once every four years," Biden said of the bill.

"The examination is not just of the increased cost of the program, but of the worthiness of the entire program," Biden argued back then, according to a copy of the congressional record. In the 1990s, Biden elucidated on the Senate floor: "When I argued that we should freeze federal spending, I meant Social Security as well. I meant Medicare and Medicaid," plus benefits for veterans, too.

'Book Bans'

Moments after the false Social Security claim, Biden alleged that "MAGA extremists" across America are "banning books."

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) set the record straight after the mainstream media, teacher's unions, and leftist activists pushed the hoax of "empty libraries" and drummed up political theater pretending that Florida's schools are not allowed to teach topics like African American history and slavery. According to the Florida Department of Education's social-studies requirements, the African people's passage to America, enslavement, and abolition are all mandated topics under the required instructional Florida statute, 1003.42(2)(h). The state's DOE outlines education standards by grade level on the subject of African American history, which include teaching students about the civil rights movement and how Jim Crow laws discriminated against black Americans.

As for the 175 books that were removed, 153 of them (87%) were identified as pornographic, violent, or age-inappropriate material. The following are examples of books containing pornographic content that were found by parents in Florida's schools:

  • Gender Queer: A Memoir, which shows sexually explicit illustrations
  • Flamer, a graphic book about young boys performing sexual acts at a summer camp
  • This Book Is Gay, which provides instructions on "the ins and outs of gay sex" and discusses the gay hook-up app Grindr
  • Let's Talk About It, a graphic novel—that's supposed to be "a teen's guide"—covering "kinks, fantasies, and porn"

WATCH: Trump Lights Things up at Pizza Place With Byron Donalds and FL Endorsements

Former President Donald Trump is leading in most of the polls in the GOP primary race. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is trailing but has not yet officially declared a run. In a new Wall Street Journal poll, released on Friday, Trump turned what had been a 14-point deficit into a 13-point lead, now leading DeSantis 51 to 38 percent among likely GOP voters. This follows a Fox News poll at the end of March that showed Trump up by 30 points, 54 to 24 percent.

DeSantis has gotten some important endorsements from folks like Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), and Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL). However, Trump has also gotten a big part of the Florida delegation to endorse him in a blow to DeSantis, who reportedly had said he was trying to call them to prevent them from endorsing Trump.

Axios’ Josh Kraushaar observed it was “no surprise that DeSantis wasn’t going to get Matt Gaetz or Anna Paulina Luna.”

“But to lose Greg Steube, Brian Mast and Byron Donalds — the type of FL Republicans you’d expect to be on the DeSantis bandwagon — is a leading indicator something not right with the RD outreach,” Kraushaar noted.

Trump has also gotten Florida Reps. Vern Buchanan, Cory Mills, John Rutherford, and Michael Waltz. He also picked up Rep. Gus Bilirakis and Carlos Gimenez. Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) praised DeSantis but said he was going with Trump.

Now, it’s pretty clear that Trump is hoping that he can put DeSantis away early, with such endorsements, and discourage him from even declaring. I think at this point that’s probably unlikely, however. Even though DeSantis hasn’t yet declared, he’s given all the signs. So, expect the fight between the two to heat up more once he declares.

But Trump was lighting it up at a pizza parlor Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers with Byron Donalds and his youngest son, Mason. This is what he should be doing more of. If I were a campaign adviser — and I’m not — I would advise more of showing this connection with the people, and concentrating on the successful policies that he had while he was president and what he intends to do for America in the future. You want to point out all the positive things he did while president.

Then compare that to the horrible things that Joe Biden has done, how he’s crushing us with inflation and abandoned our people and allies in Afghanistan. Compare this to Joe Biden who can’t even spell “eight,” and can’t make a coherent sentence. He is embarrassing our country all over the world and endangering our national security. That’s the priority — to make sure that Joe Biden loses, so that we can stop the harm that’s being done to the country with the Democrats in control.

Mason’s is perhaps the best part of the video — he’s so excited, and even wearing a suit.

Trump is funny, as he jokes and tells Mason not to “eat it with a fork.” He then handed out slices to people.

The rest of the crowd was cheering as well, chanting “USA, USA” and “Trump, Trump!”

Donalds also posted about the visit, saying that he was going to help Trump win Florida.

Byron Donalds
America’s President paid the people of my district a visit in Downtown Fort Myers, and it was an honor to be a part of this moment alongside my youngest son Mason. SWFL is Trump Country, and together we will give President Trump four more years in the White House. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ•πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
