In 1966, two Columbia University sociologists Richard Cloward and his
wife Frances Piven — both members of the Democratic Socialists of America, wrote an article in the
magazine The Nation, entitled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty”. They
hoped to replace U.S. welfare system with guaranteed annual income because they
believed that the welfare system hurt the poor because it perpetuates poverty,
it does not solve it. Their strategy was designed to massively overload the
welfare rolls to precipitate the collapse of the welfare system which would
inevitably cause it to be replaced with the guaranteed annual income they
desired.
Inspired by this strategy, the National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO) was formed in
1967, and its members invaded welfare offices across the country, using threats
and violence to bully social workers into expanding the welfare rolls to as
many people as possible. From 1965 to 1974, the number of households on welfare more
than doubled from 4.3 million to 10.8 million. The system became
overloaded, millions of more people became dependent of welfare – their lives
and prospects greatly diminished, and yet the system never collapsed and
guaranteed annual income was never implemented. The only things this strategy
did was harm the system, and hurt the people.
“Cloward-Piven Strategy”, as it is now called, has become a
wide-ranging political strategy whose end game is to replace our capitalist
system with a socialist/communist one by overloading the government bureaucracy
to such an extent that it drives the country into economic collapse which they
will claim proves that the current system(capitalism) is not sustainable. The
proponents of this strategy do not care that the only reason why the system had
collapsed was because it was artificially overloaded by them, and that if they
had simply allowed the system to run its course without interference, it would
have operated perfectly well.
The Biden administration has
adopted this strategy on almost every policy decision. As we witness every day,
Biden’s decisions are not designed to bring stability, security and prosperity
to the people; they are meant to create chaos, and economic upheaval. One of
Biden’s first executive orders was to shut down the Keystone XL pipeline. At
the time, the United States was not only energy independent, we were the
biggest energy producers in the world. Now, gas prices across the country are so high that Biden is begging OPEC to produce more oil to help ease a crisis that he
manufactured.
Why would Biden shut down the
pipeline and jeopardize our energy independence? Why would he create a
situation where we have to rely on the Middle East again for energy which could
possibly draw us into wars that have nothing to do with us other than
protecting oil interests, and possibly give terrorists reasons to attack us
again? Today, Biden blamed the rising gas prices which he caused, on the oil
companies, and demanded an investigation.
Jen Psacki unwittingly revealed
the administration’s plan when she said that the high gas prices are indications that we must double down on
green energy. Building off that statement, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) said, “they want gas to cost $4 a gallon because they want all of us
to get out of pickup trucks and SUVs and get into small electric compacts.”
This crisis has been
artificially created by the people who want to do away with the fossil fuel
industry. Barack Obama’s energy Secretary Steven Chu once admitted, “Somehow, we have to figure out how to boost the price of
gasoline to the levels in Europe” to force Americans into buying more efficient or electric cars.
In 2018, our current Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, was caught on
video singing about the end of gasoline, and fossil fuel companies
going out of business. President Biden's Treasury nominee, Saule Omarova,
said “we want them [fossil fuel companies] to go bankrupt if we want
to tackle climate change.”
It is disingenuous to argue
that we must switch from fossil fuels to alternative energy because the fossil
fuel industry is failing when the people who are arguing for elimination of the
industry have purposely implemented policies with the express purpose of making
the industry fail. This is not only devious, it is evil. Intentionally hurting
hundreds of millions of average Americans so you can have your political way is
pure evil. It is the false flag in the energy industry.
They are implementing this
strategy with our monetary policy as well. We are currently spending money at
unprecedented levels. Since March of 2020, we have passed four spending bills which
cost over $9 trillion, and added over $5 trillion dollars to our national debt.
Our federal reserve has printed trillions of dollars out of thin air – 40% of the dollars in existence were printed in the last year.
They are purposely driving our country into hyper-inflation which will devalue
the dollar to such an extent that it will hasten the collapse of the dollar,
and thus be used by the communists as evidence that the capitalist system has
failed, and must be replaced by their system.
This is the same strategy they
are using at our southern border. The Biden administration has purposely
brought in over 1.7 million illegal immigrants into this country in less than a
year with the express purpose of creating a crisis at the border designed to
overload our system so they can do away with our immigration system, abolish
ICE, eliminate our borders, and grant tens of millions of illegal immigrants
amnesty. They then will funnel these new “legal” immigrants onto welfare which
will overload that system causing it to collapse to bring in minimum annual
income, and eventually usher in socialism/communism.
During the summer and fall of
2020, many Democrats championed the defund the police movement, and many of our
major Democrat-run cities reduced their police budgets by millions of dollars.
The results have been expected and disastrous, a 150% rise in violent crimes
and murders. This movement was designed to drive up violence and crime in our
cities to such an extent that the state and local police forces would be so overwhelmed
that the only apparent logical conclusion would be to establish a federal
police force to combat crime. Local police officers would no longer be
accountable to their local communities, but would take their orders directly
from the federal government and the President of the United States. In recent
years, we have witnessed how the federal intelligence agencies have been
weaponized against political opponents, so a local police force taking orders
from Washington could be used against communities whose citizens voted against
the current administration.
The Democrat party uses this
type of strategy in almost every issue. They use Antifa and false flags to
instigate riots and create crises. Antifa was a major player in the BLM riots
that destroyed many of our major cities in 2020. They are all about manipulation,
and creating false narratives. The numerous race hoaxes, such as, Jussie Smollet, and Bubba Wallace were created and exploited to inflame racial
tensions in this country to support their narrative that America is inherently
racist. This is all designed to keep the citizens divided, fighting each other
so Democrats can usurp more and more power. That is why they are so adamant
about teaching Critical Race Theory which indoctrinates students to the false
narratives that all white people are inherently evil, and all black people are
perpetually their victims. This type of poison brings no one together, unifies
no one. It inflames whatever division that do exist, and creates division where
there is none.
The Cloward-Piven strategy will
always end in a disaster whether it ushers in communism or not. If communism
results, it always ends up bad because every country that has implemented
communism has suffered terrible economic and human losses. And if communism is
not implemented, then the country has to dig itself out of the self-inflicted
harm it is suffering under because of this strategy.
This is where you end up when
your pursuit of ideology and dogma supersedes or even kills your pursuit for
the truth. If communism was so great you wouldn’t have to use Trojan horses to
smuggle it in to a country. The demonstrable proof of its greatness, would be
its obvious selling point to the people. And if free market capitalism was so
bad, you wouldn’t have to purposely implement disastrous policies to destroy
the free market system. The system would naturally implode. What they are doing
to the country and why they are doing it should be self-evident proof to them
that what they are doing is wrong.
