The Reverend MARTIN LUTHER KING SR. aka "DADDY KING" (84), father of civil rights leader MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. (39), rose from poverty to become patriarch of one of the most famous and tragedy-plagued families in history.

In the Hour of Chaos is an award-nominated civil rights documentary written and directed by Bayer Mack (Oscar Micheaux: The Czar of Black Hollywood), it documents facts about the life and turbulent times of MLK Sr. (Daddy King), including his violent upbringing, the assassination of his oldest son, MLK Jr., the drowning of his younger son, Alfred Daniel King, and the shooting death of MLK's mother, Alberta King.
