Right on cue, the Republican
Party presidential election front runner, a capitalist, is under assault by socialist
Democrats, as well as the Washington Establishment who have enabled socialist Democrats
to destroy our nation.
The key decision in this election
is whether America will continue down the path of socialism and become a failed
nation, or get back on track to embracing the free enterprise principles that made
America great.
From across the political
spectrum, with their votes for Donald Trump, Americans are signaling that they
reject socialism and embrace capitalism.
Capitalism sounds harsh in the
abstract, but works in the real world, providing ordinary people with
opportunities to improve their standard of living.
Socialism sounds good in the
abstract, but has failed wherever it has been tried. This is why people across
the globe flee their failed socialist nations and come to America.
“Socialism is a philosophy of
failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is
the equal sharing of misery.” ~ Winston
Churchill
As the old saying goes, one
picture is worth a thousand words.
Below is a series of startling
photographs. They depict the difference between what happened over a period of
65 years to Hiroshima, a city that embraced capitalism and Detroit, a city that
was run by Democrats and embraced socialism.
A historical note to put these pictures into context:
President Harry S. Truman, a Democrat, after being warned by some of his
advisers that any attempt to invade Japan would result in horrific American
casualties, ordered the military to drop Atomic Bombs on two Japanese cities—Hiroshima
and Nagasaki—to kill people, including the families of Japanese combatants, and
bring the war to a speedy end.
