Government Accountable To The People
·         President Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency issued a new directive to ensure that all members of their Federal Advisory Committee not receive any funding/grants from the EPA, in an effort to avoid conflicts of interest.
Eliminating Job Killing Regulations & Wasteful Spending
·         The President signed into law a bill ending the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rule that increased the cost of credit for hardworking Americans and made it more difficult for small community banks to resolve differences with costumers.
Unleashing our Economic Potential
·         At the White House, Broadcom Limited announced they were moving their headquarters back to the United States, bringing $20 billion in annual revenue.
·         261,000 jobs were added in October. Since January, 1,469,000 jobs have been added, with 1,419,000 coming from the private sector.
·         11,000 construction jobs were added in October, 113,000 since January.
·         24,000 manufacturing jobs were added in October, 126,000 manufacturing jobs since January.
·         Labor force participation rate fell to 62.7 percent in October.
·         Unemployment fell to 4.1%, one of the lowest rates in nearly 17 years.
·         Unemployment claims in October fell to its lowest level in over 44 years.
·         Labor productivity increased by 3 percent in the 3rd quarter of 2017, up from 1.5 percent during the same period of 2016.
·         The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index rose in October to an almost 17 year high of 125.9.
·         Orders for semi-trucks more than doubled in October compared with the same period in 2016.
·         The Institute for Supply Management reported that the manufacturing sector grew for the 14st consecutive month in October.
·         According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. personal income rose by 0.4 percent in September.
·         According to Pew Research, More than 80 percent feel the American dream is within reach.
·         U.S. coal production is up 7.8 percent in the past year.
·         Home prices rose by 6.1 percent in August, reaching all new highs.

·         The President’s Commerce Department issued a determination that Canadian companies were dumping and subsidizing softwood lumber into the United States.
