Is capitalistic socialism next?

Stories praising socialists clutter the commentary of our national political landscape.

They always lead to a discussion praising the skill-sets of Barack Obama. They remind us Hillary Clinton would have been a better president than Donald Trump. The beat of the drum gets louder daily for their treasured Socialist, Bernie Sanders, and the blessings of democratic socialism.

But the claims that media is destroying our republic are untrue. They are only reflecting the tectonic shift in the political beliefs of many Americans. If current widely held beliefs are the new norm, our republic has lost its way and is in need of an infusion of red-blooded patriotism before it’s lost forever.

When socialism is preferred over capitalism, the American Dream is over. And the American experiment has failed.

According to a recent U.S. News poll, for the first time Democrats have a more positive image of socialism than they do of capitalism.

Attitudes toward socialism among Democrats had remained consistent until the election of Barack Obama. But that changed after Obama socialized our free market health care.

Today, 57 percent of all admitted Democrats have a positive opinion of socialism and claim they would vote for a socialist next election.

On the flip side of the aisle, there was a sharp increase in approval of capitalism by Republicans and an increased disapproval of socialism since the election of Donald Trump.

While this is a good sign for the GOP, it is a bad sign for America.

Americans have always believed socialism was a dog with a bad name and it would never rear its ugly head. But President Ronald Reagan saw the epitaph on the wall in 1989. He said, “If Fascism comes to America, it will come in the name of Liberalism.” Take heed America, he did not deceive you.

Socialism is an “economic system” and government owns everything.

Fascism is an “ideological system.” It controls the economic system but relies on private ownership.

And neither can survive without totalitarianism.

Therefore, Fascism can exist within capitalism. That’s why progressives like it.

It’s easier for them to slip Fascism into society when people least expect it. And soon they are living in a totalitarian state.

“The only feasible implementation of fascism relies on corporatism.”
– Benito Mussolini

Every liberal progressive elected president tried to empower the oval office over the Constitution.

America has never recovered from Woodrow Wilson's New Freedom and Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal.

Both not only expanded government but nurtured an under class of federal dependents that insured future progressives had a captive voting base.

They blazed the trail for Barack Obama to finish what they started.

And he didn’t let them down. He was a seasoned progressive activist who honed his skills from fellow community organizer Saul Alinsky. He often quoted Alinsky.

“We see a world as it could or should be, but are never bold enough to make it change for us.”
– Saul Alinsky

One of the most well-kept secrets in the liberal portfolio is an Alinsky instruction book called, “The Steps to Turn Democracy into Socialism.”

Alinsky has eight specific objectives to accomplish this:

Control the health care and control the people. Increase poverty so people depend on government.

Increase the national debt to increase taxes to share the wealth.

Remove all guns from society so people cannot rise up against government.

Totally control people’s lives: religion, food, housing and income.

Control education and all communication.

Remove God from school and government.

Create class warfare. Class warfare is essential for success.

Divide the wealthy against the poor as well as the races against each other. This division will cause disunity and the masses will welcome socialism.

Progressives have been taught that:

“Democracy is indispensable to socialism.”

Americans' flirtation with socialism is more dangerous than we think.

Those who see it as a viable alternative to capitalism are in for a surprise. In every part of the world that pure Marxist–Leninism has been tried, it failed. They traded collectivism for economic capitalism to save socialism.  Those that didn’t became impoverished or went belly up.

The USSR survived until 1991 due to an infusion of capitalism. China opened its economy and the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1990. And Vietnam established free markets in 1980.

But the anomaly is, those countries that have remained socialist now control the free markets including all of the people’s rights.

And this is unadulterated Fascism.

In examining Leninism, it's clear Lenin had no set conception what it would look like. All Socialist, Marxist, Fascist and Communist dictators fine-tune totalitarianism for their party’s needs.

This is not done to appease the people but to increase control over them when other tactics and methods become ineffective. Like all rogue regimes, Lenin found it necessary to infuse controlled capitalism into Leninism for its survival.

And this brand of “controlled capitalism,” like others, is plain Fascism.

“Fascism is the stage reached after communism has proved an illusion.”
– Friedrich von Hayek

World War II Axis leaders, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, ruled hybrid-socialistic regimes. They had to rape, pillage, murder and forcefully intimidate others to accept their brand of government.

All forms of socialism need a controlled political environment of heavy-handed absolute-power to survive.

A stunning recent Gallup poll showed newly elected Democrats view socialism more positively than capitalism.

If we look at the new left and what was accomplished with Obama and the progressives that came before him, there is not much left on Alinsky’s bucket list. With this new Congress they have the momentum and the machine in place to finish the job next election.

When they control the White House and the Senate, the only thing that stands between republicanism and socialism is The Supreme Court. They can do a lot of damage to our nation before a bad law ever reaches The “court of last resort.”

“The Court must respect its limits and the will of the people.”
– Elena Kagan

Mussolini told us, “Fascism is Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.”

The left easily convinced gullible Americans they were fine-tuning free market health care and we ended up with Obamacare. They now know they can socialize anything under capitalism.

They’ll use the unconstitutional powers of the existing federal agencies to do this while Americans sleep comfortably knowing they were able to stop the attack of Socialism while the left leaps for joy.

They will turn republicanism into Capitalistic Socialism and it will be too late to do anything about it.

Progressives are the worst kind of chameleons.

They re-brand their government to make it sound new and improved.

But whether it’s called Democratic Socialism, Socialism, or even Leninism it will always be Fascism is disguise.

As Mussolini said, “Fascism is socialism and capitalism combined to produce an ideal society.”

So, do not be surprised when the progressives sound off about their latest game changer, “Capitalistic Socialism”. A name is just a name.

“If it promises the same, and delivers the same, and it smells the same” then you know it’s the same – Fascism by another name.

“The truth is that men are tired of liberty. Democracy is beautiful in theory; in practice it is a fallacy. The twentieth century will be known in history as the century of Fascism.”
